This is like a post-apocalyptic Dollar Tree. Lots of empty spaces, a questionable ceiling situation, and not an employee in sight. Thank goodness for the self-checkout, otherwise how would you pay? Guess they are running on the honesty system.

Just horrid...
Brian J.

This place is filthy! This is without a doubt the most run-down, disgusting Dollar Tree that I have ever been to. The bathrooms were horrid. There appeared to be fecal matter on the wall in the men's bathroom. The main store area had dirty floors that looked like they hadn't been mopped in weeks. Items on the shelves were scattered as if a tornado ripped through the store. Balloons also filled the ceiling, which seemed to be coming apart. This is the kind of Dollar Tree I would envision following an apocalypse! I even caught a glimpse of the area behind the main store area where discarded cardboard boxes were stacked to the ceiling. I'd give this place one star, but the employees were nice. In particular, the cashier we had was very polite.

Crafts for kids....

Now there are many stores that are specific to only selling "Dollar" merchandise. This one I have to say truly is worth every buck you spend. This is a large store will mass inventory all for a dollar or less. Large isle filled with all the great stuff people like from the floor to the top of the shelf. I frequent shop this location. It is not the neatest (meaning isles neat and organized). They don't seem to have anyone walk the floors to straighten the isles. Some isles are a complete mess due to mass stock of items. They also have long lines at the register. They could use an extra cashier especially when it is busy. However, I will not frown apon that as this store really has many great qualities.I am always greeted. The staff is super friendly and willing to help. There are many great options to choose from which is why I always return.

Unfortunately, I have to be in a Wi-Fi area in order to use my phone like that. And they don't have Wi-Fi. I needed very specific things size wise. And you're not allowed to open packaging but when you pick up a lamp and you lightly shake it and you hear broken glass, but you're not allowed to open up the package and see what exactly broke why bother buying it at half price if you're not gonna be able to use it. This happened repeatedly also I was looking for a specific size bathroom medicine cabinet. Since much of the writing on the boxes didn't have dimensions, and I couldn't open the boxes because it's against the rules. I could find boxes that I think might've had the right sized item inside but I really couldn't take the gamble especially when I can't see if they're scratches or dents or a door ripped off, etc. I think the only thing I will come back here for is tile. If you're doing a craft project and you need a few pieces of tile or you're doing something special to cover a table top and you only need a few feet. This is the place to come for the tile. Unfortunately, the majority of the tile is not labeled and not priced and I hate having to run up to the counter every single time I find something to find out how much it's gonna cost. It's just ridiculous. I found a similar place, not too far away, where the people don't mind if you open the items to look at them and they will even go so far as to take a light fixture and wire it to a test area to show you that it works. So I think I will keep going to this other place instead.

If you are looking for kids items in particular they have a lot of clothes, toys, and baby items that won't break the bank and keep your tiny tot satisfied. Some items I remember seeing on my trip were: - Bassinets - Baby car seats - Bentgo stainless steel lunch box (an older model, 50% off retail) - Tonies figurines (also at 50% off retail) - Inflatable 3 in 1 ball pit activity center for around $20 - An adult's circuit bike for $200 The list goes on and on. Service was friendly and cheerful. If you're looking for clothing, especially kid's clothing, there are tables that are filled with random clothes that you have to hunt through to get the right size you need. A lot of the clothes I looked through were stained so make sure you examine everything thoroughly before making your purchase. I've been shopping at Poor Little Rich Girl for over 15 years. I started at the original Indian…read moreSchool store and have been coming to the 16th St & Bethany location since it opened. I'm not exaggerating when I say at least 90% of my wardrobe comes from here. It is where I go to buy outfits for everything: dates, work, travel, my own baby shower :) Every visit feels like someone with good taste went through the racks first. One of my favorite things is that the store is organized by color. Consignment shops can feel overwhelming and disorganized, but here it's easy to browse and actually find what you're looking for. Even better are the people. Emily and Claire have gotten to know my style over the years and pull things they know I'll love. When I ask for an honest opinion, I get one, and it's always genuine. I've been bringing my son in since he was a baby, and he loves it there too :) They remember him, ask about him, and make him feel welcome. After all this time they feel less like store employees and more like friends I get to visit with when I go in. Going to Poor Little Rich Girl is something I genuinely look forward to, never a chore. I'm so glad this store exists and as much as I would like to keep it a secret...you should go!

For example, I had brought in a beautiful Thierry Mugler blazer with hardly any wear. They denied taking it. I sold it independently and quickly for over 300. Now the latest thing they did, was sell a luxury item to a reseller that commented while they were closed. I then called several times in the morning, exactly when they opened, to be told the item just sold over Instagram. They never used to prioritize Instagram comments over buyers calling into the store. Several times in past years, people would comment on instagram first while they were CLOSED, and I would call in first thing to be sold the item. Then they want to claim this was never a thing lol trying to gaslight me when I had bought many items in the past by phone. To top it off, it was to a reseller lol. They dont care how loyal you've been to them. I've spent so much money over the years but this last incident was the final straw for me. There's better thrift stores around the valley, save yourself the trouble. They don't value long term customers. Edited to add: because of this recent issue that I brought up to them, they were so petty to block me on their Instagram. I never swore at them or anything lol. Avoid this business. Dawn is so incredibly unprofessional and petty to block a customer thats been shopping w them for 9 years. Not a good look at all. Edited yet again as a response to Cat: Cat, that number was not mine any longer as when I came in and was informed of the text received by my old number, I PROFUSELY apologized and updated my phone number with my NEW NUMBER. To be accused of something I never did and would never do only makes you continue to look bad. Why would I say whatever u accused me of saying for a pick up order? Please stop the wrongful accusations wow I am really shocked and disappointed by you. I do not cuss at people or say nasty things to them. It does not align with my character. I wish you well Cat, you seem to need the help for your own personal biases or issues you have towards me.

We were asked if we had been to the warehouse before. Answering that we hadn't, it was explained that auction items are on the left, and items for sale are on the right. These are primarily items the university has replaced, or items students and staff have left behind. Rows of mismatched office desks to choose from. We settled on a smaller sized deck. It is older yet built to last. It is probably a good 20 years old, and possibly has another 20 years of life in it. The desk was only $10! For another $5, an all plastic chair with wheels was purchased to go with it. I was hoping to find a bookshelf as well. The bookshelves they had were either not in the style or condition I wanted. Along with office furniture, the ASU Surplus store side has computers, laptops, random office equipment and clothing. Surprisingly, they even had dozens of cleats that were new in the box. Unfortunately, they did not have cleats in the size/sport combinations that would work for any of my children. The auction side was a crazy mix of items. See photos. On the day of my visit, there was a mix of large machinery. Auctions are run through an online auction house. Checking out was easy. The guy who helped me was polite. He was very nice about assisting me in loading my purchase into my vehicle. Make sure to bring a credit or debit card. ASU Property Surplus does not accept cash. All sales are final.
