This has been our go to Aldi for the last…read morecouple years and the new one in Monroeville opened and is closer to us but I didn't even think about going there today. The people here are always friendly and they always have what we need. The prices are great at Aldi if you have never been. They don't have everything that big grocery stores have but they have a lot. You should try it out and see. Make sure you have your own grocery bags or you can snag some boxes inside to pack your things in. You also need a quarter to get your own grocery cart and then you can get your quarter back when you put the cart up. Hopefully you know this coming in, but just in case ... it'll help! With prices being high this is the place to shop!

I'm new to Aldi's. I live literally next to Target & Giant Eagle. So when Aldi's opened up on the…read morefirst day I did some curious adventuring. Parking was no problem, got a free tote, even the cart was free. I wasn't aware of having your own bags nor putting the groceries in the bag yourself. Also very few "brand" name items. The store was clean& laid out easy to locate anything. I was explained by the guy @ the register they keep cost down by charging a quarter to customers to get a cart. And the same by bagging your items. Most people I have spoken to have said they have a terrific produce section which was true. But all in all I'm only going to Aldi's out of necessity. I

I wish I could give them negative stars, they earned it…read more ProSource KNOWINGLY sold me a stone tile/backsplash product that MUST be cut wet. However, it contains a water soluble glue which makes this impossible as the stone falls off the mesh backing when it gets wet. I was NOT made aware of this when I purchased it and Prosource denied knowing the issue even existed until 2 months in on a phone call with Ed the showroom manager, who was dumb enough to admit they knew it was an issue. I spent countless hours calling and emailing both the manufacturer, Topcu, and ProSource attempting to learn a way to be able to install the product as my wife and I both really like it. I even purchased 3 additional new diamond blades in a vain attempt to cut it, because "this has never happened before". Then what I was told, and I still cannot believe they were stupid enough to suggest this, was to remove each individual stone from the backing, cut it wet, then glue it back on. After a ridiculous amount of back and forth the final answer the manufacturer said to do would cost more than the product itself did, take countless hours of work, be nearly impossible to do correctly and completely make the product un returnable. For an alleged high end product that cost over $300 per box. ProSource refused to take back the product except under unreasonable circumstances, only taking back non cut and non broken sheets, a 25% restocking fee AND my paying the freight back to the manufacturer in Georgia. The manufacturers rep admitted to me on multiple occasions that the situation was ridiculous but still I could not get an acceptable resolution from them either. I guess they expected me to lay down and take the abuse. Not this guy. I fought and I won...just like I told them I would. Now I get to warn you. Who is dumb enough to use a water soluble glue on a product that must be cut wet? Topcu. Who is both dumb enough to sell that product to consumers without telling them? Dave at ProSource Monroeville. Who is dumb enough to insist this has never happened before? Todd at ProSource Monroeville and Brian at Topcu. Who is dumb enough to admit this does happen and I was lied to repeatedly for over 2 months? Ed at Prosource Monroeville. Who was smart enough to give me my money back? PNC. You would be better off buying your supplies at a flea market. But if you want to buy this crap they sold me check the usual spots where people sell stuff, I will be listing it for sale there until someone buys it, which I expect will be a very long time.

I found the perfect "Welcome" sign with a sunflower matching my welcome mat for around 8 bucks so that was a major find compared to anything else I had found in other stores. I also bought a Dutch oven and a covered deep pan. For the Dutch oven I had to look in 2 different locations for one that had a price so that was annoying. The cleanliness and organization of this store is sub-par over several visits. You can be a thrift store and be tidy at the same time, trust me. Try some other thrift/discount stores and you will see (Rose's in West Mifflin for one or any Ollie's or Big Lots). So, over all, I give just 3 stars for OK but there are better ones for great deals.

Actually I probably got more than that on my last trip... yea me! If you aren't a patient shopper and don't mind paying full retail, by all means shop elsewhere. This place will only frustrate you. However if you are like me then just give yourself about 2-3 hours to browse so you can keep an eye out for bargains. Be warned you may, actually you will run into an item you love just to discover a huge stain or a ripped seam or a missing button. It happens, look for duplicates. Also place isn't real clean continuing on with its frugal POV. Best advice...Try everything on before you purchase it...I mean EVERYTHING. I have visually missed a broken zipper or a small hole in the arm, but upon trying it on, the flaw is quickly found. Also they have a weird return policy so better off to play it safe...
