There was a decent selection of balloons, party decor, storage containers/baskets, kitchenware, cleaning supplies, and seasonal holiday items (spring decor, Easter eggs, St. Patty decor...). There is also a larger freezer section compared to other local Dollar Trees. It's also walking distance from the senior high rises which may (or may not ) be convenient for tenants.

If you need a drink and some good food to wash it down then Aslin is the place to go. They even have trivia nights which are lots of fun. I love going to concerts and City Winery is a fun spot to see a show because it's a small venue which has no bad seats. We have seen. Comedians and concerts there. There is a huge parking lot (paid) behind the entire building and there are metered spaces in the front. They often host events like outdoor fitness classes, farmers markets and car shows. It really is amazing that you could mini golf, get a facial, drink wine or beer, eat delicious food, shop for books or grab a coffee all within a small area. There are several cut through areas which make it more manageable to get to your desired location from the parking lot. The biggest downside to me is that I wish there were more local businesses. While there is nothing wrong with chains, the Strip is such an important part of Pittsburgh's history that I wish it contained more independent businesses and restaurants and less chains.

There was one of the workers, an older lady standing smoking a cigarette she open the door for me she told me to leave my cart in the front which I was going to do anyways, So I left it up front and I went to the Halloween section while I was looking at things I could hear her screaming for johnathon talking about me really loudly about how I had my purse with me and my shopping bag. she didn't even tell me I could not have them with me. He comes up to me says" is it necessary to bring all those bags with you into the store like that" with a rude attitude. I tried to tell him yes it is I walked here and it helps me carry everything back home but he didn't care to listen to me . The store was about to close, so I went up to the front with my purchase and paid . He stood right at the register, watching me, and then when I was finished paying, he went to the front door made sure to stand there so that he could confront me some more and try to argue with me. The lady that told me to put my cart up front also followed me to the front of the store they both started arguing with me being really rude with a nasty attitude especially Jonathan. I have recorded the whole incident I will be contacting corporate about this , no one deserves being treated like this when they go into a store to shop I couldn't believe it.They ruined my experience and I really hope that they don't continue to do this to other customers or they will lose alot of business there.

My boyfriend, however, comes in here multiple times throughout the year and I accompany him. The main reason he chooses to shop here is because of the quality of their clothes. For an 'XL' man who enjoys working with his hands in his spare time, this place offers him shirts that last through years of laundry washes and jean's that don't rip when he kneels or bends. DXL does tend to be on the pricey side, but to counteract their prices they send out lots of coupons for their rewards members. He has received coupons before his Birthday and Christmas, that I know of, as well as other standard coupons that are sent to all of their rewards members throughout the year. A lot of people think this place sells dress clothes only, but they're wrong. They have sports apparel, graphic tees, jean's of all fits, accessories, dress shoes and sneakers, and even their own fragrance Zephyrwood cologne/candle/air freshener/lotion. This is just to name a few. The employees at this particular location are quite knowledgeable about the apparel they sell. I have heard them discuss the differences between different types of jean's materials, watched them help a customer build a suit for a night out, and even give tips about what they think looks best together. ReStore sells new and used appliances (e.g., washers, dryers, refrigerators, and stoves), furniture (e.g., couches, chairs, dining sets, and dressers), building materials (e.g., hardware, flooring, light fixtures, plumbing supplies, and windows), and home décor at low prices. The proceeds from the sales are used to build and repair housing for low-income families in the Pittsburgh area. Most recently, I emailed ReStore to ask if they would accept my shelving unit, coat rack, light fixtures, space heater, flower pots, hose hangers, and other items. I was required to send photos of the items to show the style and condition. Two days later, an employee replied that they would accept my items, and he scheduled a pickup from my house for several days later. On the pickup day, the pickup window was from 9 AM to 3 PM, and 15 minutes before the driver arrived at my house, he called me to inform me that he was on his way. The driver pulled up to my house in a truck (see the attached photo). He was very polite, and he moved my items from my driveway into his truck. At the end of his visit, he handed me a receipt, and he kindly thanked me and wished me a great day.
