I have probably driven past Seasons of America dozens of times and never noticed them until today…read more I wondered what type of store it was, and then I noticed on their sign the words "Dollar & Party Superstore." Ah! When I went inside the store, it reminded me of competing discount stores. Seasons of America similarly sells party supplies, holiday decorations, other seasonal items such as outdoor supplies, office and craft supplies, cleaning products, health and beauty products, some pet supplies, some foods, and some clothing. Prices were low. Examples of prices were $0.50 for a greeting card, $1.25 for a bottle of shampoo, and $35 for a holiday decoration. I bought several items--a gift bag, coloring book, aluminum foil, hole puncher, body wash, conditioner, and dice--and all of them cost less than $2 each. A couple of cash registers were open. The cashiers said hello and thank you. I do recommend that they wear their face masks over their noses rather than around their chins.

I have shopped at this mall off and on for over 10 years. I shop mostly for women's clothing, foods, and gifts. During my most recent shopping trip, I felt happy with the condition of the mall and with the selection and prices of merchandise. Overall, I think that South Hills Village is one of the best malls in the Pittsburgh area.

My only "complaint," would be that the owner has never made an effort to say hello or be welcoming. Not everyone is warm, I get that. As an owner, you gotta recognize your customers. Say hello. The staff is great at this, but not the owner, which was disappointing. I do love that Cranberry is an option on Sundays. I love to shop on Sundays!! Years ago the prices were below $5, but in the current economy, some prices are higher than $5. This particular store is in South Hills Village mall. Every time that I shop in a Five Below, I think that the selection of products is not what I really need or want, but this store had a decent selection of merchandise, including slippers, greeting cards, candies, games, hair supplies, cosmetics, travel-sized products, t-shirts, etc. Furthermore, the prices were reasonable, and during this visit, I found a Covergirl blush that was priced similarly to Walmart and much less than Target.
