Lucky Duck Candy Company is a local business that recently opened and sells candies and ice creams…read more My family and I shopped here two times. Employees immediately greeted us and made friendly conversation. The candy section was stocked with many types of candies--chewy and hard, sour and sweet, nostalgic and modern, and more. The ice creams included several flavors from each Hershey's and Penn State Creamery. The menus listed many toppings (e.g., butterscotch, hot fudge, pineapple, marshmallow, Oreos, and gummy worms). The ice creams could be put inside cones or cups or made into sundaes, shakes, and floats. I also noticed Italian ice on the menu. My husband and I are graduates of Penn State, so I ate three flavors of the Penn State ice creams. My husband opted to buy Moon Pie from the candy section. Everything tasted very good. My four extended family members ate two ice-cream cones in the flavors of cookies 'n cream and tie dye and one Allegheny River sundae that contained vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, crushed Oreos, gummy worms, sprinkles, and a cherry. They also went on a shopping spree in the candy section and bought a bag full of various candies. They enjoyed their treats and had fun. One recommendation that I have is to offer a different Dubai chocolate bar. The ones that we bought did not compare to the Dubai chocolate that I previously purchased elsewhere.

Ginny's came highly recommended by people whose opinion we trust, as well. I was out with family & invited everyone back to our house for pizza. Ginny's came to mind so I called. I was a short distance away, and when I got to Ginny's, everything was ready to go. It was priced appropriately & the pizza was great! I'm looking forward to going back to try some other things.

It had multiple cheeses on it, including ricotta. Very tasty! My mom had the salmon salad with some type of ginger dressing. I tried a bit of it. Salmon was tender and the dressing paired well with it. The bread sticks are also very good. I noticed that people at a table near us ordered a giant pretzel appetizer. I would like to try it some time. Also, the manager and chef both asked us how everything was, which I thought was nice. My only complaint is that it was really loud inside. We were in the main dining area (there's a lounge as well) which has nothing to suppress the noise. It's concrete flooring with metal chairs. Not a good mix. It didn't help that we were seated by the area where they prepare your drinks and clang dishes around. Next time I would like to go on a nice day so I can sit in their outside space. It is next to a trail so it would be a good spot to take a break at if you're walking or biking. Overall, the service and food were great, but the ambiance could be better.

It was such a unique concept because I've never had cheesecake in a smoothie like that before. There were a lot of seeds in it but honestly I don't even mind that. I'm thinking next time I'll get either the strawberry cheesecake or the blueberry cheesecake to see how those compare. My friend got the protein coffee and even though it tasted a little more like whey than coffee it was still a nice treat. They also have protein brownies in the refrigerator that looked really interesting and there are several games you can play out near the tables which is a fun touch. The ice cream flavors are pretty basic but there are a ton of options when it comes to milkshakes and smoothies so there's definitely something for everyone. Service is fast and friendly, the location is convenient, and there's also a really nice trail at Crafton Park nearby where you can walk and enjoy your smoothie in the sun afterward. Definitely worth a visit!

The service is always warm, and while the ambiance is more so grab and go, there are seating options with outlets nearby if you wanna stick around. The only reason i cant give this place more stars, (even though i really want to) is the lack of flavor in their drinks. Ive had a couple of their smoothies and love them, but wish they were a little more fruit/flavor heavy, as the powder taste is quite upfront. Im not trying to say make them unhealthy by adding sugar, they could just use a little more fruit/ flavor. Obviously you're gonna taste some powder, because they are protein smoothies, but the flavor could use a little more balance. Besides the flavor balance, the smoothies are good, i haven't gotten one thats bad, and i definitely recommend coming here. The only thing I've been disappointed by was their Matcha & boba (No bueno).

I wasn't shopping for anything in particular but I wanted to see the new location. I picked up a basket and kept adding items. How could I pass up a nice size head of cauliflower? Or nice big radishes? Oh look I needed celery. As a cooking novice, I went with the "regular" mushrooms but I saw other types that I may need to come back for. The refrigerators had local dairy products, meat, and pierogies. I had to get the spinach and ricotta pierogies (made in McKees Rocks). I can't say no to a snickerdoodle cookie and there were pumpkin snickerdoodles too. Lots of homemade breads, pies, cinnamon rolls, etc. It is the attention to detail that stood out to me. The radishes were in a resealable (ziploc like) bag. The mushrooms were in a clam shell container. I didn't have to find storage containers which I appreciate. The staff were very friendly and well versed in the products. Ample parking. If you miss the GPS turn, make the next right and come in through the back of the parking lot. The restaurant's dining area had many tables and chairs, and customers took their number and chose where they wanted to sit. The restaurant was not packed with other customers, but I still had to wait a while to receive my Crazy Mason shake. In the meantime I enjoyed the interior design of Pittsburgh bridges and a Worsh Station. I had ordered the flavor "Top of the Morning," which contained strawberry ice cream, strawberry sauce, vanilla frosting, Fruity Pebbles cereal, sugar-pearl waffle, sliced bananas, and whipped topping. It was a large size, and I am sure that it was full of calories and grams of fat and sugar, but it tasted delicious. Always a plus! You order at the front and receive a number. It looked like most eat their milkshakes there. We wanted ours to go. My daughter wanted a simple milkshake. We waited probably 5-10 minutes for our milkshake and were on our way. Although simple, it was very good!
