I was in the Greensburg area, and I was looking for a different place to grab a coffee. I do like to support different, small businesses. I did a search and came across Steep Mountain. I will say first that it was difficult to find. I drove past it twice as I was not seeing it from the road. If you are looking at Olives and peppers it sits to the right. I was finally able to find it when I parked in the OandP lot and then was able to see it. Quite a good vibe and quite a lot of people in line for a Saturday at 11:30. Service was friendly and I was able to get a Vanilla Latte in a relatively short time. The drink was fine. It is clear from both the name and menu that the specialty is Tea. Very cute little spot in Greensburg. My friend loved the Owl's Eye latte (tea not coffee) and I really enjoyed my simple iced americano. Not too bitter, not too dark. Lots of space to sit and do work or just enjoy some time reading. A lot of students come to get studying done so come early if you have a preferred table or seat so you can hunker down! read more

When the guy at the train station said I could get a hot drink next door this is NOT what I was expecting. I got hot tea and some pastries to go from what may be the cutest little coffee shop I've ever seen. The vibe is earthy and relaxing and quaint. Setting is so lovely, inviting and relaxing. Tea and coffee options were plentiful and today's staff was absolutely cheerful, informative and welcoming . So glad to have another gathering spot in Greensburg and especially be situated in a beautifully restored train station. Besides good tasting coffee, they serve ice cream and delicious pastries. Lovely cafe with far above average tea, from server knowledge about the sourcing and tea production to tasting notes and correct temperature for preparation. A rare place where tea is rightly treated as much more than just "green or black". (They have coffee, too.) The interior is comfortable and cozy, with couches, tables, and outdoor seating as well. This adorable spot is located in the actual working train station in Greensburg, Pa just outside Seton Hill University Performing Arts Center. Having never been here before and baffled by the wonderful array of coffee, tea, hot, cold, and boba the very friendly counter staff guided me lovingly through my selections. My "London Fog" was just amazing since I am far more of a tea drinker than a coffee drinker. It is Earl Gray Tea latte. OMG! Many times when yea is blended with other items, it disappears. Not this drink! Warm, sweet with a frothy steamed milk, the tea sings beautifully. Before you make a face about scones, STOP! This was the most tender moist delicately orange flavored pastry I could put in my face. The glaze even has orange zest in it. Going to petition my local joint to add tea lattes to their menu! I traveled back to Western PA and found this little gem of a shop. The owners Judy and Marcus could not have been more welcoming or warm. It is located in the Greensburg train station that brought back lots of memories of traveling back-and-forth between western Pennsylvania and Philadelphia during my college years. It is decorated in such a charming way and even has a little gift store area. I tried a chai masala, a pumpkin latte, amazing coffee cake, and even some homemade delicious ice cream. (The blueberry pancake and s'more's were both incredible.) I highly recommend this tea shop that also has delicious coffee and baked goods! And I plan to continue frequenting Steep Mountain while I'm home. read more

A quaint tea house in a little city full of coffee shops. The relaxing atmosphere inside is just what everyone needs to be able to sit down and relax. The service is absolutely pristine! The three staff I encountered yesterday were all so friendly! The tea is delicious! For my first time there I had Lavender Meadow white tea...... twice! It was so good I got a second cup of it. The sitting areas are absolutely the cutest. I spent at least two hours doing my work in their upstairs area. Their pastries are absolutely delicious too. I had their apple strudel! Oooof delightful! Their other items looked like they would be scrumptious too! If you're looking for a calming, peaceful atmosphere in the middle of a college town... 10/10 recommend! read more

This new tea place and shop at the Greensburg train station has everything you could want - a wide variety of teas, pastries, also coffees, ice cream and boba/bubble tea. So cozy and inviting with plenty of eye-catching comfortable chairs and sofas. This cafe gets it just right. We tried the London Fog tea and I had a cold sparkle tea and pumpkin cake. I'm sure the Seton Hill college students will enjoy this cafe which is walkable from campus. Another plus is that they are open every weekday 7:30-7 pm and on Sat/Sun until 8 am-1pm.
