The cutest little trendy, eclectic spot in Perryopolis that we never knew existed and boy was it a find. The decor is vintage photos, paintings, drawings and even post cards on the walls and on the tables. We were greeted so warmly especially when we told them it was our first time. We chose two breakfast sandwiches, one bagel and one croissant and each were phenomenal. My husband had a mocha cappuccino and I had the Psyche-Delicate tea which was a hibiscus tea with blueberry syrup. It was sweet and delicious. This will be a new hangout for us for sure!

He enjoyed his tea and my coffee was okay, the espresso was burnt. The person who took our order was stand offish... maybe they were just having a bad day. It was not busy at all when we arrived. He got his sandwich not too long after ordering and said it was nice! Mine on the other hand...I waited over 30min for.He was well past done when I got my sandwich and my hot coffee had gone cold by that time. A small group of people walked in after my husband got his sandwich so maybe they got confused in all of that and forgot my order? I think it's cute and I like how they openly support what's right but the staff was not friendly and the long wait was unpleasant.

My children absolutely love going here, and they really enjoy interacting with the owner. She's awesome. Every single thing that we've tried is "our favorite thing", so it's hard to choose just one thing! It all just depends on our mood, and that's awesome--knowing you're going to get whatever "favorite thing" you're in the mood for that day! And, there are lots of different options to meet EVERYONE's dietary demands. However, if we had to do special shout outs from our own family, here is an evolving list: The Sweet and Savory Sammie is our household's absolute gotta-have-it, favorite thing. The Fiesta Burrito is great. Be sure to try that at some point. I personally still get stuck on craving the avocado toast with an egg and bacon, (or any of the avocado toast specials that the owner puts together). If you're in the mood for a sandwich, ALL are good. We've tasted them all. But if we had to pick just one to try first, our household absolutely loves the Grilled Chicken Sandwich she makes. It's great. If you're in the mood for it, the owner also makes a pretty freakin' good "Italiano" with a bunch of different meats like prosciutto, soppressata, etc, with a really good pepper relish. Salads--great too. I personally like the roasted veggie one with chicken added. Drinks--all of the coffee drinks and iced teas are awesome! She also has lots of different options in caffeinated and non-caffeinated for anyone who wants those. In the mood for dessert? ANY of the cookies she creates are wonderful, with lots of different options, including gluten free. Our visits ALWAYS end up starting with dessert first! Honestly--everything we've ever tried, we liked. Going here has also helped our family open up and try "new things", and she even got my meat-eating daughters to love impossible sausage. Don't hesitate--Go in and give it a try! I promise you won't be disappointed!

I asked a couple questions about the menu and was immediately directed to the BLT by a woman in the kitchen. Wow I wasn't disappointed. It was sooooo good. The bread was toasted perfectly (so it didn't kill the roof of my mouth), the tomato's and lettuce were fresh, the bacon crispy, and that basil mayo. A life changing BLT if there is such a thing. A couple side notes I appreciate. Bittersweet's marketing team deserves. Ton of credit - they have some awesome swag available for purchase. Also, this is a Christian oriented cafe with bible verses, messaging, and music. Love it! And finally, check out the story about Bittersweet's roots, its commitment to addiction recovery/support, and the owner's son's story/passing. The name "Bittersweet Cafe" will take on a deeper meaning (the news articles can be found in the walls before the counter by the bathrooms). Cheers Bittersweet, thanks for having me, and God bless!

Nice landscaping provides a near perfect setting to enjoy a cup of coffee. I ended up getting a simple red eye. It was delicious. I understand they brew Iron Star coffee out of West Mifflin. The same Iron Star that owns Coffee Tree shops. If this coffee is any indication, I think I need to visit Coffee Tree again. It's been a while. Anyway, I had a really good cup of coffee and a peanut butter and jelly cookie. No complaints on the cookie, but I wish they had some breakfast sweets like scones or cinnamon rolls. Next time I'll try some real food. Just be aware that things are a little pricey here.

Cute coffee shop with great flavors and faith in downtown Irwin!…read more Nestled right in Irwin, White Tree Cafe & Coffeehouse has a small town vibe with big bold options! During the day, they had ample street parking and the cute patio is such a wonderful touch to enjoy a coffee on a beautiful day. We came for a light lunch and midday pick-me-up, so we chose the Cookie Butter Cold Brew, Iced Oatmilk Vanilla Latte, Grilled Chicken Bacon Ranch Panini, and a Croissant. The drinks were delicious! The Cookie Butter Cold Brew was a monthly signature drink, but I would get it as often as I can! The crumbles of cookie with the pillowy cold foam was such a refreshing coffee. The latte was perfection too. They definitely make great coffee drinks. The panini was freshly made with sous vide chicken, fresh bacon, and ample ranch dressing to dip in!! The chips were Metro Deli Kettle Chips- which is a new brand for me, but very well resembled a fresh homemade chip. The croissant was so good that we went back up to check out their other baked good options. We grabbed a Breakfast Cookie. It was a peanut butter cookie with oats and chocolate chips. The size was big enough to split and warmed up for a second... the cookie is ooey gooey!! The decor is so unique with a pin map to show where the coffee is sourced to a mini book shop to read while sitting or buy to take home. They are clearly a faith based organization with tons of great kids books based on faith and a selection of Bibles too. They also have a stock of board games ready for any patron to bust out enjoy even more fun!! The staff is so sweet. They deliver your food orders to your table and were great to talk to for recommendations and about the store!
