The line moved quickly.

The one I got was only $7, and it actually works pretty well! The staff were also very nice and friendly. Most of the sections were well organized, but the stuffed animal section was a little confusing. I couldn't tell which items were $5 and which ones were more than $5. Some products are actually more than $5, so I wish the prices were a little lower. Overall, though, I'm happy with my purchase!

For years,…read morethey had not increased their prices, but in the current economy, they had to bring in more revenue to cover their expenses, which I totally understand. The price of $1.25 is still extremely reasonable and costs less than other stores' prices. Categories of products include holiday and party decorations, plasticware, food, school and office supplies, health and beauty products, toys, and cleaning products. For several years, I have been visiting this location to stock up on mostly hygiene products (e.g., hand soap, hair conditioner, and toothbrushes) and cleaning products (e.g., bleach and dish soap). I feel happy that I find many products that are made in the U.S. and Canada and are high-quality name brands such as Arm & Hammer, Colgate, and Suave. In the checkout lines, I seldomly have to wait for long, and the cashiers are nice and competent. During my most recent visit, I went on a shopping spree, and I spent a total of $29.

I have probably driven past Seasons of America dozens of times and never noticed them until today…read more I wondered what type of store it was, and then I noticed on their sign the words "Dollar & Party Superstore." Ah! When I went inside the store, it reminded me of competing discount stores. Seasons of America similarly sells party supplies, holiday decorations, other seasonal items such as outdoor supplies, office and craft supplies, cleaning products, health and beauty products, some pet supplies, some foods, and some clothing. Prices were low. Examples of prices were $0.50 for a greeting card, $1.25 for a bottle of shampoo, and $35 for a holiday decoration. I bought several items--a gift bag, coloring book, aluminum foil, hole puncher, body wash, conditioner, and dice--and all of them cost less than $2 each. A couple of cash registers were open. The cashiers said hello and thank you. I do recommend that they wear their face masks over their noses rather than around their chins.

3.5 stars overall. Ollie's Bargain Outlet is a chain of a few hundred discount-closeout retailers…read moreacross dozens of states. It sells merchandise that manufacturers and other retailers could not sell. I shopped inside this Ollie's store near Shaler Township. This store was a large size and carried a wide variety of merchandise. I saw fans, heaters, books, rugs, foods and beverages, dish detergents, air fryers, pet toys, clothing, hair shampoos and conditioners, home decor, mattresses, vacuums, office supplies, and many other types of products. I had expected lower prices. I thought that the prices were average and not steeply discounted. Nonetheless, I chose a package of three name-brand scissors for $6, and my husband chose a package of candies for about $4. At the checkout, the cashier greeted us, accurately rang up our purchase, thanked us, and told us to have a good day.

If you're looking for a perfectly organized shopping experience, Gabe's probably isn't for you…read more It's definitely a treasure hunt! The store can feel like a giant pile of stuff, so plan to spend some time digging through the racks. Be sure to double-check prices, as I've found that some items aren't always labeled correctly. Sometimes the same exact shirt is labeled with three different prices .It's also worth trying clothes on because many items are irregular or factory seconds. That said, if you enjoy the thrill of finding an amazing bargain, Gabe's is hard to beat. They carry tons of unique products and brand-name items you don't always see at other stores, and there's always a chance you'll walk out with an incredible deal. I like coming here to buy work clothes-the prices on scrubs can't be beat. Also, their seasonal products are amazing.

He bought me some DG Stomach Relief which is comparable to Pepto Bismo. After I used some I noticed the exploration date was at the end of October 2019. I received the package in November. It had already expired. He sent me two bags of Clover Valley buttered popcorn. I looked at the exploration date and that had expired in the middle of August 2019. I called the 800 number listed on their products. They use a third party service to receive the calls. Of course the operators were outsourced from a different country. I am still waiting for a response from Dollar General. Two days later I looked at the package of string cheese that was sent to me. Of course. It had expired in the middle of September. I was angry at this store and the company of having its staff doing a terrible job of checking date codes routinely. This certainly makes me never want to shop at any of the stores. If you do shop in the store, do yourself a favor and check date codes on all food and medication products.

The customer service was very good. When I was standing near the cash registers, an employee noticed me, and he offered to open another register for me. He politely greeted me, accurately rang up my purchase, and thanked me and wished me a good day.
