I have probably driven past Seasons of America dozens of times and never noticed them until today…read more I wondered what type of store it was, and then I noticed on their sign the words "Dollar & Party Superstore." Ah! When I went inside the store, it reminded me of competing discount stores. Seasons of America similarly sells party supplies, holiday decorations, other seasonal items such as outdoor supplies, office and craft supplies, cleaning products, health and beauty products, some pet supplies, some foods, and some clothing. Prices were low. Examples of prices were $0.50 for a greeting card, $1.25 for a bottle of shampoo, and $35 for a holiday decoration. I bought several items--a gift bag, coloring book, aluminum foil, hole puncher, body wash, conditioner, and dice--and all of them cost less than $2 each. A couple of cash registers were open. The cashiers said hello and thank you. I do recommend that they wear their face masks over their noses rather than around their chins.

But I've purchased many other things. Plants, pumpkins, produce, candy, home decor. They have an eclectic collection of things and crazy low prices on most of them. If you are buying candy or food, check the expiration dates. Things are usually still good, but in the candy I did find boxes of halloween candy that was dated two years before. Everything else I found was fairly current, though. Often times the produce is close to the end of its life, but, for example, I got pounds of strawberries for a fraction of the price of what I would have paid elsewhere and was able to make an incredible amount of jam with it! The staff is generally pretty friendly and very knowledgeable. They were easily able to tell me where things were when I needed something and they were very efficient at check out.

They always have a nice section dedicated to seasonal items so everything usually looks fresh and welcoming throughout the year. Not sure how it came to be known as Tuesday Morning, but I love stopping in whatever day of the week it is. Check hours of operation , since they tend to close much earlier than other retail stores.

The area of Shadyside and East Liberty is so busy so this Target is a great spot. They have free parking!!! We have found the selection to be great and when we have needed help the staff has been so friendly. Did I mention they have free parking??? Target isn't a "discount" or "value" store" so I do not go there looking for a bargain; I do go there wanting to find what I need for a fair price. I love that they have a CVS in the store as we tend to use the Target CVS for prescriptions due to their hours being better for those who have a job and need to get stuff in the evenings.

I used to go to Aldi, but now their prices have risen to be about the same as target so typically if they actually have what I'm looking for I'll go to target instead since it's more convenient. It's nice that they have the Starbucks and the eye doctor place in the target. I got my eyes checked at their clinic before and it was a fairly easy and reasonably priced experience. The glasses selection isn't really that great though so I'd recommending just doing the check up and then waiting to order glasses online.

This visit was for my wife and we were shopping, mostly, for summery pants, etc. We left with four pants, a dress, and two tops for under $140! I am still amazed! My wife found much of what she wanted and she is feeling good about herself (that is the #1 goal). All in all, we were thrilled with the results.
