I checked out the Food section because I am always searching for Tea. I found one that was marked down. I checked out the Beauty section and the Womens Clothing Clearance sections. I found two sunblock items, bot marked down, Yay! All three items were marked down. Good timing, too, because our other Spray was out. Usually, the checkout line is really long. But it wasn't bad yesterday afternoon. This store is very clean. Not really messy either. That's a good thing. This is my second favorite location. First is at Sahara and Hualapai.

Whenever there's a Starbucks drop and a big crowd, Travis is always calm, patient, organized, and polite. He handles the situation with professionalism and makes sure everyone is treated fairly. Melissa is just as wonderful, and together they do an amazing job preparing everyone before the release by clearly explaining the rules and setting expectations. One thing I especially appreciate is that they limit purchases to one item per person during these high-demand releases. It gives more customers a fair chance to get what they came for instead of a few people buying multiples. At other Target locations, the drops often feel chaotic, with people running and very little organization. This team keeps everything orderly and enjoyable. A huge thank you to Travis, Melissa, and the entire Starbucks team for consistently creating such a positive experience. I went to the baking aisle, so I was checking out the baking chips, but the lowest was $3.89 each, noticed the brown sugar- 2 lbs, was $1.99- both light/ dark types were the same price, and then on the end of the baking aisle, was the beans, my favorite beans, $1.19 each. I've been doing so much baking lately that I've used up almost all of the brown sugar in my cabinet! The baking section is very small, and the beans were in the same aisle! I also needed cash back at the self-checkout, and delighted when the first option was $10.00.

We were here for Member Mornings where customers with TJ Maxx/Marshalls credit cards are invited in one hour earlier than the 9:30am opening time! We get a free gift - today, we had a chance to select a large white tote bag with fuschia handles or green handles - and we got one entry blank for a gift card. Guess who's name they called??? Mine! Yippee! Thank you! I enjoyed looking at the cute Easter merchandise and Hello Kitty items! I did also look at footwear and clothing, but nothing caught my attention. I saw some super kawaii bunny packages that can be used as goodie bags - got them! Thanks for the friendly service and clean, organized environment!

Disappointing Customer Service and Serious Concerns About Discrimination…read more My experience with April at the Jewelry counter was deeply disappointing and left me questioning whether I was being treated differently because I am a Black customer. I was standing at the Jewelry counter while April helped another associate remove a sensor from a dress for a customer in the fitting room. Afterward, April continued a personal conversation with the fitting room associate about finding a teapot while thrift shopping and even the manager Nicole discussed talking to the fitting room associate's dad. I was standing right there, close enough to hear their entire conversation, yet it was as though I was invisible. Neither associate acknowledged me or offered assistance. What made the situation even more insulting was when April turned to a white customer standing in front of me and asked if she could help her, while I was still being ignored. She then walked away without offering me any assistance. Having worked in retail myself, I understand customer service standards. I know the difference between being momentarily overlooked and an interaction that raises serious concerns about discriminatory treatment. Given the sequence of events, I felt deliberately disregarded because of my race. Even more concerning was that Manager Nicole was present. Her response, including telling April to "let it go," left me feeling that the situation was being dismissed rather than addressed. Management has a responsibility to ensure that every customer receives equal treatment and professional courtesy. I am extremely disappointed that this happened. April needs additional diversity and customer service training, and management needs to take responsibility for how these situations are handled. No customer should have to stand in plain sight, listen to employees carry on personal conversations, and then watch another customer receive attention while being completely ignored. I know what professional customer service looks like, and this was not it. Every customer deserves to be acknowledged and treated with dignity, regardless of race. I hope store management takes this complaint seriously and addresses the concerns raised by this experience. I hope management pulls the video!

Hubby was on the hunt for more Squatch goodies- his current obssession, while I was checking out the Beauty Department, for K-beauty goods. I had to do a huge overhaul with my beauty routine since I am experiencing acne and blemishes and I am in my 50s. I got rid of the older stuff, so I needed some new beauty items. Some items from Sephora were too harsh for my sensitive skin, and Philosophy Purity Made Simple cleanser seems to not be so good for my current skin care needs. My needs are: sensitive skin, dry skin, acne, brightening, and anti-aging. My ideal was to find clean beauty by Korean skin care companies. Well, I was there for a long time, because I needed to read the labels, compare the items, and make sure that the item was inside the box. TIP: Make sure that you check to make sure that the product is inside of the box. I missed out on a couple of things that were marked down. That was a waste of money. There are some shady people out there. There were a lot of items in the Clearance section, so I was checking almost everything out. But I found some winners yesterday. All marked down too. When you are a busy mom with a budget, this is important! I must mention that TJ Maxx/ Marshalls is my favorite store. This location is probably in the Top 5 of most visited, for our family.

They sell very random things that I don't see in other stores. So the only issue here is that there's always a very long line to checkout and most of the time they are understaffed so expect to wait a long time. Meanwhile, they only had about half the registers open, while we observed 2 employees chatting outside while retrieving carts, 2 employees chatting at the jewelry counter while doing nothing, and multiple employees around the store either tidying or stocking shelves. Why not send everyone to the registers to cut down the line faster? Many customers were probably leaving and rethinking their purchases due to the length of the line!

They had several well-known brands, like Cuisinart, on sale. Unfortunately, my mother felt that all the toasters were too large for her needs, so we ultimately decided not to make a purchase.
