A nice little supermarket.

A nice little supermarket. There are many household items, as well as kitchen and gardening items, which will bring you unexpected surprises.

Soooo happy, Vegas now has a Daiso! Whenever the wife and I would go to Cali, we always hit up a local Daiso to see what we were missing in Vegas. This location is stuffed with items from wall to wall. Very easy to spend an hour walking up and down each aisle and finding those treasures. Some rare Asian food and drink items including chips, Pretz, Pocky, frozen and chilled items and more. Guaranteed to have something you never knew you needed :-). Their holiday section always has cure items and little gift ideas. Pleasant staff and they used to have a couple self checkouts but those were closed our last visit. Down to 1/2 cashiers now. Tip: Bring your own bag or pay for paper bags from Daiso (no plastic here).

Shopping in Las Vegas, Nevada... Even though we have three Daiso Stores on the Island of O'ahu, my sister still wanted to go to Daiso while on vacation. She said that she tried to shop in Honolulu at the downtown location, but the parking was challenging... and the store was on the small side. She also went to the Piikoi Street store, but the line to get into the parking lot was too long! Pearl City is "too far" for her, so... Here we are in Las Vegas! This Las Vegas Daiso is the first of two. It's quite spacious, well stocked, organized, and clean! We found so many cute items and had a happy shopping experience - even though items start at $1.75 and the sales tax is just about twice as much as Hawaii's sales tax! The selection of goods is better on the mainland because by the time we get to the Honolulu Daiso, the popular items (such as Disney, Line Friends, Tokidoki, and Sanrio) are usually sold out! Welcome to Las Vegas, Daiso! Wishing you much success! See you again!

This store has everything you need and so much that you didn't know you needed. I have stopped here for organizational items regularly, folders, boxes. Spice jars. Paper binders, you name it they really do have it or something that will work well in its place. I have gotten several items for my Key rings, and purse accessories. They have an amazing sticker, stationary, washi tape section too. So addictive!! I love this store so much. I stop by as often as possible. Oh and I got cat bowls and chopsticks. And kitchen items. This store has everything.

I think I can speak on behalf of every single person who shops at Daiso stores. The price tag in yen is super confusing. Why display the price tag for example 200 yen, which makes you think it's $2 but actually it's close to three. You have to pay attention to the conversion charts that is located throughout the store. It's just annoying. They should just mark the item with the actual dollar value. STOP BEING LAZY DAISO!! It's just really tacky trickery they do to make people spend more money. It's annoying. Also their snack selection SUCKS! They stock their shelves with snack items that you can get at ANY international store. Positive notes: they sell some cute fun stuff such as warm socks for 200 yen. Which is 3.25 Daiso price I think?

Warning: there should be a large sign on the door in bold lettering or displayed in the store at eye level, stating that there is "no exchanges or no returns, all sales are final". At checkout our cashier did not say that but I heard the other cashier telling his customer that. We know this because we went to one of the stores in CA. Also, for anything related to food, I would not suggest buying anything with the "Prop 65" Warning on the label. For those of you who don't know about this rule, in California (my home state), everything that has cancer-causing materials must have this disclaimer on it, even parking lots (as evidenced in SF's Fisherman's Wharf). Ok, with these PSA's out of the way, one can still find unique items (storage and home items) and bargains here. We purchased a small stainless steel strainer here for 1.75, 1.90 with tax. There were a few things that were no longer available during our second visit. It was packed so we didn't want to stay in line (which was almost) to the back of the store. So, if you see something, there is a chance it might not be in stock again. It was freezing so it wasn't really comfortable. Other people were hunched and walking slowly. Pricing is 1.75 unless there is something else on the item's label. Has Sanrio items and food items in the front of the store. Bring your own bags. There is a 20 cent charge for each bag. (We always have them with us.) The other store at DT Summerlin is not opening until this summer.

Adorable plate. Reminds me of Hachi!

$1.50 deals at this Japanese Dollar Store! You'll go in not needing anything, but end up discovering things you never knew existed and buy multiples of each! Hehe! Just keep in mind, no price on the package = $1.50 each. Or, price as marked. We all know about the American dollar stores (Dollar Tree and 99 Cents Only Store), but what sets this store apart from them is that goods are designed in Japan and mostly made in Japan, too (but could also be made in China). Keep your eye out on traditional Japanese items such as origami paper, writing tools, bento products, folding paper fans, snacks and more! On Jan 7th, I walked in around opening time, 10am, and there were quite a bit of people inside. Because the store is so new, goods are still flying off the shelves and restocking is non-stop. But, I was able to score some zipper pouches, cooking tongs, and magnetic hooks. Looking forward to items in the spring when it's cherry blossom season!! This DAISO location (Southwest area - Arroyo Crossing) is the first of three stores to open in Las Vegas. Whooopie!! If you ever get the chance to travel to Japan, you must check out DAISO Japan for an even better selection of 100 Yen items!!

The pricing is so confusing! I couldn't even find the prices on half of the items in the store.

I'm probably not going to make many friends with my 1 star review of the new Daiso, but I really didn't like this store. After watching the lines stretch around the back of the building for the last couple of weeks, I have been intrigued. I drove by today around noon and noticed the doors open and nobody waiting outside, so I jumped at the chance to finally check it out! The store had its grand opening not too long ago, and it is not well stocked. Most of the shelves are bare (I'm talking TOTALLY empty), and I understand growing pains when a business has just opened its doors to an eager public. But the problems here go far beyond a simple lack of inventory. If I had to describe Daiso in one word, it would be "confusing." Very little about this establishment makes sense. The store is strangely organized and laid out, with pet items and school supplies right next to kitchen bins and stickers. There's no flow to the supposed "departments," even if you're just there to browse. The only way I would've been able to figure out where in the heck the checkout line started is because I overheard some very angry woman yelling at a guy whom she accused of cutting the line in front of her. I also can't figure out the customer base for this place. Who shops here, and what do they buy? I guess I should've stuck around and been a nosey Nancy, spying on what others had in their baskets in the massively long checkout line. The worst thing about Daiso -- and it's the cardinal sin of retail shops, in my book -- it is darn near impossible to figure out the prices on the items. Nothing is clearly marked, and you have to refer to this small sign that's placed throughout the shelves that has the "Japanese price" conversion to the U.S. price. Half the time, you can't even tell the "Japanese price" on the packaging! It was beyond irritating to try to find and then decipher the cost of items. I got so annoyed that I walked out. I'm frustrated just writing this review! Take note that while this looks and feels like a budget store, and many items are supposedly in the $1.50 to $2.00 range, prices go all the way up to a whopping $15.00. Nothing in this store looks like it would be worth paying more than a couple of bucks for. Nothing. Combine that with the confusing price tags and pricing structure, and you could be in a very rude awakening at the cash register. I had such high hopes for this place, but I left so exasperated today that I have zero plans to ever return.

You know that moment when you only came in for a couple of office supplies but ended up grabbing more items? Lol I think may have purchased an item for each aisle. I mainly stayed in the kitchen supplies area because there were items in there that I didn't know I needed, like a cylindrical ice tray that fits my water bottle and a ramen strainer Lol. Will definitely be back! The items are mostly $1.50. The cashier announces over the intercom every 15 minutes or so that all the items without a price (except food) are $1.50. The prices are in Japanese, there are conversion charts everywhere. Most of the items I picked up are without a price lol. Customers may bring their own shopping bags or $0.20 for a paper bag. A few of the shelfs are empty, but there are already boxes ready for restock! The employees looked busy given that the store recently opened and every customer wants all these goodies. They're probably a little bit organized now than a few days after opening. I didn't have any trouble navigating the store. Came in on a weekday at 12noon, no line and not crowded inside. Price: Fair, mostly $1.50. Some are up to $15 Service: all of the staff are very kind and helpful. Parking: plenty in the lot

I am so glad that Vegas finally has a Daiso!! I no longer have to drive all the way to California for this cute little Japanese store. This place is very similar to a "dollar store", as most things are relatively cheap! The place is filled with snacks, drinks, and knick knacks! I mainly come for snacks and cute kitchen stuff like cups and bowls. They have a ton of ramen and chips that you wouldn't be able to find at a normal Asian market. Plus I saw that they have hot pot mix! I didn't get it, but I do want to try it next time. The store is very organized, well lit and has a ton of cute stuff!! 10/10 would reccommend if you like snacks and cute things :)

LOVE!! It's a good sized store with a nice variety of home goods, kitchenware, organizers, Japanese stationery, snacks and such. Prices aren't a dollar but very reasonable. The store is laid out nicely with stationery and crafts up front and on the right, snacks up front and to the left with kitchen ware in the back. It was my first time in the store so I had to buy all the cute stickers and gadget and tasty snacks I could lay my hands on. I went on a Sunday morning and the store was not crowded. Cashiers were very fast, efficient and super nice. Cute bonus: they looked like anime characters - Love!!! Like all stores in CA, they charge 20 cents for a bag so bring your own green bag or pick up a cute Daiso green bag.

I debated giving this three stars but I decided to bump into 4. If you've never been to a Daiso before and you like the idea of inexpensive Japanese goods, it's definitely worth a visit. If you've been to the other Daiso stores in California before, though, you can probably safely skip this one. They are bigger and more substantial. I visited this hoping to find some cute stationary like I had found in California, but they were low on stock, which was disappointing. I was definitely hoping for more stationary stuff. There was a particular type of pen I got in California and I was sad I couldn't find it here. I was also tempted to get a few other things but the line was just really long and I didn't feel like waiting. I noticed other areas were cleaned out too, like specific snacks. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this store right now, especially if you were hoping to get specific stationary like I was. It's worth a visit if you're in the area, although my hopes were probably higher than they should have been. I heard they are building more stores - one in the Henderson area which is closer to me. Hoping that store is a tad bit bigger and has more stock.
