My husband and I stopped by Daiso on a Friday evening to do some early holiday shopping. This Daiso location is off of the 215/Sahara, next to Downtown Summerlin. There are spacious amount of parking spots available. Daiso is a family owned company that has over 6000 stores globally and 100 within the US. Daiso has an extensive range of products, including Japanese inspired home decor, food, kitchen products, gifts, and much more. I think there are over 9 different Daiso locations within Las Vegas! As soon as we walked into the Daiso Summerlin location, we noticed how packed it was! I always enjoy going into a Daiso to see all of their merchandise! I spent a long time looking at their holiday offerings. There were so many holiday ornaments, wrapping papers, holiday gift bags, and stockings! I really liked their holiday enamel pins. It reminded me of the Disneyland Pins! Daiso had a wide range of electronics, toys, and stationary items. Their prices are relatively inexpensive. You'll notice a price conversion from Japanese Yen to US dollars as you're shopping inside the store. I always have a great time at Daiso. The team members at this location were friendly and helpful.

Went here to just check things out! So many cute things inside and not overly expensive! We loved all the different Knick knacks they offered.

What a fun place! I am a little confused about the prices. Great place to shop and buy stuff you probably don't need. The cooked corn is real... haha.

Shopping in Las Vegas, Nevada... When Jessica P. gave me a Hello Kitty Zip Top bag, I asked her where she got it from... Answer: Daiso Right after dinner, I drove to the nearest location (Arroyo), but they had sold out of the bags. I drove across town to Summerlin where the newest location of Daiso in Las Vegas opened on August 20, 2022. I asked the first employee that I saw about the Hello Kitty Zip Top bags. She said that they had just arrived! She got a pack out from a box and asked me how many I wanted... Ohhh... Challenging question! I also got the older version of the Hello Kitty Zip Top bags and some Kuromi with My Melody Zip Top bags. Too bad it was 7:45pm. The store closes at 8pm. I would have bought more if I had more time and more space in my luggage... Note: They have so many cute things - like Cooky, the pink bunny from BT21, Disney characters, and the brown Rilakkuma bear!

This review is for 4.5 stars. No returns. Prop 65 warning on food storage containers & some snacks. Better inventory than the Arroyo store. Way more storage containers - way more choices, in terms of shapes, sizes, colors, etc. Less brush choices though. Didn't really look at the snacks (prop 65 warning). Arranged similarly to the Arroyo store, but placement of items (categories) slightly different. Reminded me of the CALI store we visited (lots more choices on the storage containers). What'd we score? Four items at the lowest price, white board, hand grip exerciser, purse insert organizer (end cap - so many choices), & black mesh zip case. The line at checkout was not as long as Arroyo's which has almost gone to the end of the store (the back). We visited right before dinner time, sunday, yesterday. I'm sure we will be back.

This location just opened and they have almost everything you could ever need at an affordable price. Even some stuff that you didn't know you needed. Highlights for me are the food section, the school supplies and storage. Staff was super friendly and helpful but aisles are a bit small with crowds of people in them. I will definitely return for more fun stuff. They have baskets at the front of the store that you can carry and the rolling ones. Important note: being reusable bag because it's 20 cents for a paper bag. This location has self checkout but it is super sensitive so staff are there to assist if you double scan something.

So happy the one in Summerlin is open now so I can go to Costco right after! I was so surprised they were heavily stocked even after 2 days of grand opening with giveaway events! Due to inflation, everything is $1.75 instead of the iconic $1.25 Daiso but nevertheless, still great price for so many great products! I went around 7pm on a Sunday, an hour before they close & there was a very short checkout line. They also only have a few blind boxes left, heard they sold out of most of them after the first 2 days.

    Free gift today for opening!!

Meet me in Tokyo!…read more Tokyo is a beautiful city, it is relatively small but compared to other cultures has brought so much innovation to the world just based on their art, values, and culture. As Americans we are a world away from this island. But a little piece of Tokyo can be found here in these stores. Learning is a skill that one should never forget. Come in and see what you can learn about yourself from the experience you have in this store. Many of these stores share their products from Tokyo for you to try out. Let's not be so closed minded. The products that they sell come from Japan. The range of products they carry is amazing. They have aisle after aisle of food, beauty, home, toys, and many other products that you have to see to understand. Expand your knowledge and horizons by seeing how you can see how other people live through their own eyes. Live through their experiences. Like most Americans of this great nation, we are a melting pot of history. "I have a dream," that dream is to have everyone feel included and inclusive. A dream where our ideas can mesh together and create something unique and meaningful. Walk among the aisles and try something that an individual human being uses but with a different perspective or packaging. Eat something that is unique and not customary to your diet. You might be surprised and discover something new about another culture and their perspective of the world. See you just learned something new. Knowledge is power. Knowing how the world works makes us better understanding to those around us. Whenever we shop here we sample the beauty products from Japan. They offer so many options to choose from. While I cannot understand or speak Japanese the products they sell are of the highest quality . Who does not love the rich colors they use in their inspiring art they create. The dragon that products the home from evil spirits. The lucky cat that can bring prosperity to you and your family. Believing is what starts the process.

Hey yall! Yet another packed trip to Trader Joe's today!…read moreRight when I walked in, lil Trader Joe's bags being sold! Have you heard on the news, Trader Joe's bags are reselling for $50K over seas? Google it! My mom dropped me off one the other day. Not sure how she got it. She always gives me lil donations. Anyways. I stopped by this location and yes they had a sample man out. Of course the store was packeddd!!! As always. I tried these lil cookie dough ice cream bites and got addicted automatically. I couldn't stop trying those samples! So good! I can't wait to come back one day and just buy a whole basket of items. I love they have .17 cent water bottles like can't beat that!

Favorite frozen chicken dish is also a staff favorite too, orange chicken, which is a "bake & serve" one. 20 minutes in the oven, that's good to try. I wanted rice, the loves wanted noodles. Tip: cut the large chunks into smaller ones for more even cooking, before cooking. It was steady but not crazy busy. Nice people work here. The parking lot is a little more crazy with activity. (I have a small car so it's a challenge.) I prefer the lot closer to the outer stores, facing Sahara, it's less crazy.

I also noticed the handicap parking isn't directly in front of the store. Watermelon season is definitely in full swing. There were giant bins of watermelons near the entrance, and it felt like almost every cart had one in it. The store was packed, making some aisles difficult to navigate. The smaller carts actually helped because full size carts would have made it feel even more crowded. There were sale tags and promotions throughout the store, and this location also carries alcohol. As a chef... I tend to pay attention to food displays and preparation methods. A lot of the products throughout the store are prepackaged, which isn't surprising, though the hot food section could use some attention. Several items looked like they had been sitting for a while. The meatloaf, in particular looked dry and wasn't very appealing. The cheese department was probably my favorite area. There was a great selection, and many of the prices were better than I expected. I could have spent a lot more time browsing that section alone. The bakery was fully stocked and looked nice, though the breads appeared to be frozen products that were baked off in-store rather than made from scratch. When bread is being made in house, there's usually that unmistakable fresh yeast aroma throughout the bakery, and I didn't notice that here. Before leaving, I stopped by the coffee bar near the exit. I'm a fan of Vietnamese coffee, so I grabbed one of their bottled options from the cooler by the register for around $5. I also tried the brown butter cookie latte. Both drinks were flavorful and packed a serious caffeine punch. Overall, I enjoy shopping at Whole Foods. The store was clean, well stocked, and had a nice variety of products. While their branding focuses heavily on organic and natural foods, many shoppers may be surprised by how much of the store consists of packaged and prepared products. Still, it's an easy place to find specialty ingredients and quality items that aren't always available elsewhere.
