What a fun shop! This store has a bit of everything and is an absolute must visit for those that love Japanese culture. I enjoyed my shopping experience, buying inexpensive arts and crafts, stationary, and kitchen items. Service was friendly when I required assistance at the self checkout register. It's really a one stop shop for almost everything. From favorite japanese snacks, teas (they carry Yamamotoyama teas!), instant noodles, arts and crafts, kitchenware, training chopsticks, kawaii school and office supplies to garden and outdoor items, organizing baskets and bins, plushies, Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters, and licensed Disney items too. My husband and I stopped by Daiso on a Friday evening to do some early holiday shopping. This Daiso location is off of the 215/Sahara, next to Downtown Summerlin. There are spacious amount of parking spots available. Daiso is a family owned company that has over 6000 stores globally and 100 within the US. Daiso has an extensive range of products, including Japanese inspired home decor, food, kitchen products, gifts, and much more. I think there are over 9 different Daiso locations within Las Vegas! As soon as we walked into the Daiso Summerlin location, we noticed how packed it was! I always enjoy going into a Daiso to see all of their merchandise! I spent a long time looking at their holiday offerings. There were so many holiday ornaments, wrapping papers, holiday gift bags, and stockings! I really liked their holiday enamel pins. It reminded me of the Disneyland Pins! Daiso had a wide range of electronics, toys, and stationary items. Their prices are relatively inexpensive. You'll notice a price conversion from Japanese Yen to US dollars as you're shopping inside the store. I always have a great time at Daiso. Shopping in Las Vegas, Nevada... When Jessica P. gave me a Hello Kitty Zip Top bag, I asked her where she got it from... Answer: Daiso Right after dinner, I drove to the nearest location (Arroyo), but they had sold out of the bags. I drove across town to Summerlin where the newest location of Daiso in Las Vegas opened on August 20, 2022. I asked the first employee that I saw about the Hello Kitty Zip Top bags. She said that they had just arrived! She got a pack out from a box and asked me how many I wanted... Ohhh... Challenging question! I also got the older version of the Hello Kitty Zip Top bags and some Kuromi with My Melody Zip Top bags. Too bad it was 7:45pm. The store closes at 8pm. I would have bought more if I had more time and more space in my luggage... Note: They have so many cute things - like Cooky, the pink bunny from BT21, Disney characters, and the brown Rilakkuma bear! read more

We went here last night, and the store was great. I got to say that what I like most about this store is the customers. At most stores - discount or otherwise - people reach in front of you or say "excuse me" as they ask you to move - at this store they wait the 30 seconds for you to browse and move out of their way. It is so nice not to feel rushed. It is nice not to feel like I am constantly in someone else's way. It feels like I am respected, and that my perusal of items is respected. The prices are entirely reasonable. The store is clean and organized. We saw the whole store in under 20 minutes, and walked out with a full bag. I definitely recommend this store! read more

This review is for 4.5 stars. No returns. Prop 65 warning on food storage containers & some snacks. Better inventory than the Arroyo store. Way more storage containers - way more choices, in terms of shapes, sizes, colors, etc. Less brush choices though. Didn't really look at the snacks (prop 65 warning). Arranged similarly to the Arroyo store, but placement of items (categories) slightly different. Reminded me of the CALI store we visited (lots more choices on the storage containers). What'd we score? Four items at the lowest price, white board, hand grip exerciser, purse insert organizer (end cap - so many choices), & black mesh zip case. The line at checkout was not as long as Arroyo's which has almost gone to the end of the store (the back). We visited right before dinner time, sunday, yesterday. I'm sure we will be back. read more

This location just opened and they have almost everything you could ever need at an affordable price. Even some stuff that you didn't know you needed. Highlights for me are the food section, the school supplies and storage. Staff was super friendly and helpful but aisles are a bit small with crowds of people in them. I will definitely return for more fun stuff. They have baskets at the front of the store that you can carry and the rolling ones. Important note: being reusable bag because it's 20 cents for a paper bag. This location has self checkout but it is super sensitive so staff are there to assist if you double scan something. read more

They have hats, socks, holiday attire and decorations, food items, tableware, accessories, cosmetics, organization devices, art supplies, knitting, embroidery, sewing, pet supplies, a garden section and so much more! Open at 9A so a breeze to walk through without the crowds. Service is amazing as well each guest is greeted upon entering, during check out they were very helpful as well. Very cute store! Has so many things to look at for such a reasonable price too. Prices are converted from Japanese currency to American dollars. I love that they stick to the roots of Daiso. They have so much! From toys and stuffed animals to kitchen utensils and gardening tools, and all for such a great price. It seems like the store is still super new, as the staff was setting up new areas. Super excited to come back next time and see what's new! Only downside, no returns or exchanges. So, these stores are always great for little trinkets, Knick knacks, specialty snacks, drinks, and plenty of household items. However, the pricing is always confusing and at this location in Summerlin, the prices were very hard to figure out. We didn't bother to ask because they do have conversion charts to try and help you figure out the price but they didn't help. I don't think I will be visiting any more of these establishments. So happy the one in Summerlin is open now so I can go to Costco right after! I was so surprised they were heavily stocked even after 2 days of grand opening with giveaway events! Due to inflation, everything is $1.75 instead of the iconic $1.25 Daiso but nevertheless, still great price for so many great products! I went around 7pm on a Sunday, an hour before they close & there was a very short checkout line. They also only have a few blind boxes left, heard they sold out of most of them after the first 2 days. read more

If you've never heard of Daiso Japan then you're truly missing out on one of life's little shopping pleasures! If you have visited any of the numerous stores dotted throughout California, then you know how addicting it is to shop at Daiso. There's another Daiso that opened first in Las Vegas located at Arroyo Crossing Parkway but we prefer this one due to proximity and it seems to carry better if not more inventory. Daiso is well known for offering an impressive variety of unique to quirky products/knick-knacks sourced primarily from Japan, S. Korea and China. We love Daiso for their various house-hold items such as kitchenware, organizers and cleaning products to their gadgets (phone cases, holders, cable ties, etc). They also carry a revolving selection of Japanese snacks and drinks as well as adorable stationaries and Sanrio items that my nieces adore. The fun part about Daiso is the occasional seasonal product that you find and then never knew you couldn't live without. I have visited the store Daisy #5087 and purchased items several times it is in my neighborhood. Today I visited with my daughter and two granddaughters, the youngest of which has just turned four years old. The four year old suddenly announced that she needed to go potty. I asked one of the sales people, Lydia if I could take the child to go potty she said no there were no bathrooms available for customers. I then asked if they could make an exception because it was clearly an emergency, and she said no, we would have to go to the Trader Joe's, (which is at least a five minute walk with a young child). I then replied," oh, do you think I would take something? Let me leave my purse here with you and your colleagues. I'll even take my jacket off so that I don't have any pockets I just want to take her to the bathroom." She said, " well she can go by herself, but that would be the only way." I said, " if you are worried, your colleague can escort us it's fine I just want to take her to the bathroom". At this point my daughter left with her child to try to rush her over to Trader Joe's to go to the bathroom. I paid for my items and then returned to speak with the manager, Faith. I asked for the name of her supervisor and the name of the regional supervisor.of the store. Faith told me that she had no way to contact her manager- that all she had was the manager's personal contact and so I said " is there not an email or a business card which would allow me to email the manager". She said that there wasn't. I asked again for the name of the manager of the store and the district manager. I was finally told that their names were Jackie and Don. I am writing with this complaint because customers should not be treated that way. I am sure that exceptions can always be made and I was more than willing to be supervised by an employee while I took my granddaughter to the bathroom if they were worried about any potential for theft. I'm not sure if I was being profiled or that my family was being profiled or if the employees were just simply being mean I don't think that an employee or employees like that belong in a a downtown Sunmerlin store. There is a certain kind of expectation for how people should be treated - with dignity and with respect I would have even felt better if Faith had said to me I'm sorry, but I'm not even allowed to have you in the bathroom because we keep inventory in the bathroom and it's strictly forbidden. Instead her comment "I'm not going to LET you go back there where there's inventory!" was very accusatory, in its implication at the very least. Faith needs to be retrained and needs to be encouraged to have more humanity and kindness towards customers. Jackie, Don I encourage you to have a conversation with your employees. I enjoy the store but am disappointed in your employees lack of customer service. read more

Normally I would give this store 5stars but today wasn't the case. The 2 employees working seemed to care more about their personal lives than helping customers. Very loud conversation about their private lives. Both of them were then hanging out by check out talking and when a customer asked for help locating an item, the reply was "if we have it then it's on the shelf ". No offer to help the customer find the right item. I've never seen the employees act this unprofessional in this store before. read more

We live closer to the Arroyo location, so we usually hit up that one and never are fully satisfied. Checked this one out yesterday and was pleasantly surprised! Wasn't expecting much because it looks small from the outside, but wow their inventory was awesome! We got a bunch of stuff that we've seen online and never could find at the Arroyo location! Cruised into this store for the first and last time. Cheap goods that do not work ( USB-C charger). No returns or exchanges. Charged me 22 cents for a bag. Staff were not very friendly. So many cute/cool/useful finds at these Daiso discount stores, I'm addicted! We've been to both Las Vegas locations and they are both chock FULL of goodies. Full of useful merch yet so clean, well-lit and well-organized. I just went to the Summerlin location and got a face massage roller, some food prep bowls, some Chinese soup spoons, stand up paper coffee filters, milk cookies, a cute notebook and some sheets of just to-die-for cat stickers, all for under $25. Unless otherwise marked, items are only $1.75 each. They will charge 20 cents for a bag so if that bugs you bring your own! read more

The store is great. We always find plenty of useful stuff but the customer service is horrible. There were no cashiers open because all the staff was busy chatting in the middle of the store. When I went to the self checkout and scanned my items, it accidentally scanned twice so I had to ask for help. The girl was so annoyed that I interrupted her conversation with her coworkers. The only thing I complain is when you go to cashier and I have two full baskets force me to go to self check out instead to regular cashiers!
