The most annoying thing that bothered me while here was a lot of stuff didn't have a price or price sign on it. No price checker scanner in the store so I could check the prices on a couple items so unfortunately I had to have an employee scan the stuff & then remove stuff I didn't want due to the price since not everything is $5.00. They have a huge candy selection & most of it is over priced as you can get it elsewhere cheaper. I did find a couple of things to put in my Vegas bestie's Easter basket. I was also glad that I just happened to bring in my own bag because they no longer give your bags for your items. They have removed all the plastic bags @ the self checkouts & have ones that you can purchase. Not sure if they had a sign on their front door letting customers know this??? If I didn't bring my own bag in I would have just ran out to my car to grab one as I always carrying them in my trunk. I definitely spent more $$$ than planned, a little over $100 which was very easy to do in here! lol Enjoy!

We are also huge AFOLs - Adult Fans Of Lego. So we needed some of the plastic containers we can only find at Daiso to store and sort our bulk Lego purchases from our trip. We love that the stores have mostly converted to self-checkouts. We usually get a plastic storage container or two and then put the other purchases inside them. This store was about 15 minutes from my dad's house and was clean, well-stocked, and had a friendly staff. We will definitely return on our next trip to the area. If you have never been to one you should give them a try. Best way to describe them is an Asian Dollar Store/Five Below. Some pricier items but overall great values.

Well, besides office supplies, Daiso has cute merchandise, kitchen gadgets, household items, bags, utensils, pet toys, snacks, paper goods, etc. I actually found a pair of bunny socks... and some Easter decor. For the price, it's hard to resist. It's not $1 per item anymore. Just look at the yen conversion chart and check the price tags. You probably will find something you need or can give as a thoughtful gift!

This is the closest HomeGoods to me and I was looking for two things: A paper towel holder, and a hook to hang a kitchen towel on a cabinet. I came up empty on both fronts. While the store easily had 100 cutting boards, they had exactly one paper towel holder and it wasn't what I was looking for. There was a staff person in the area, but she focused solely on stocking the already overflowing shelves instead of assisting anyone. I did find some salt and pepper grinders, so it wasn't a total waste, but it's mind-boggling that a store with "home" in the title doesn't really carry paper towel holders.

Near the entrance I saw a fun llama bench and some decorative giant toadstools or mushrooms. They had at least three rows of edible things. I found the pink Himalayan Sea Salt Chunks I was looking for. I also saw very expensive imported boxes of chocolates. (one box was $60.) They had so many chocolates and lots of fun different snacks I never saw anywhere else. I also enjoyed looking at all the fun decor. Checking out was easy and efficient. But I was able to score some silicon whisks (don't use metal ones on your cookware!), dish drying mats, and some other things that I really did "need." I'd also like to mention another interaction that stood out to me. While I was looking at phone cases, an employee who appeared to be a manager was standing right beside me. My hands were full, and I accidentally dropped an item on the floor. Instead of offering to help or even acknowledging what happened, he simply walked away as soon as it fell. We were the only two people in that section, standing shoulder to shoulder, and not a single word was said. That interaction reinforced how unwelcome I already felt. I cannot speak to the employees' intentions, but I can speak to how I was treated. I left the store feeling uncomfortable, singled out, and disappointed by an experience at a store I had always enjoyed shopping at.

It's a form of a traditional "style dollar store!" They sell all sorts of different kinds of merchandise. Truly what's not to love! It's not all just a dollar, some of the items are under a certain amount will not break the bank. The Asian flair of the food is great too ! Truly amazing the quality of choices they offer. Life is the ultimate gift and reward yourself by saving and enjoying other sorts of global culture. These little Daiso stores are like a wild flower they just can't stop. Although I spend over $200 every trip. June 27, 2026 around 19:20 I came to shop here and was followed... again. So instead of taking my time browsing through every aisle until something caught my attention I decided to wrap up my shopping and go. I already had swimming goggles that I initially came there for so I decided to keep them and head to the line. I made my purchase and headed out. At the same exact time I was leaving a couple skipped past the line and sped walked right out the door with a cart full of clothes and nobody batted an eye. Did I mention it to the staff? Absolutely not! Why? Because if they weren't being prejudice they would have seen them stealing. But staff was too busy watching the wrong person lol so that's their bad. I won't be back here though. Because it's offensive to be treated like a criminal when I am not.
