I LOVE LOVE LOVE this Dollar Tree store! It's like Target sometimes, you go in there with one thing in mind to buy and you end up with 5 things but only for $5 and some change for the tax. The store is always clean, they have a great selection of items quality brands, as well as the cheaper generic brands. I love coming to this dollar tree even though it is out of my way and about a 10min drive. I consider it far only because I have a dollar tree within 3 min driving distance from my house but I hate going to the one by my house because it's not as nice as this one. Every time I come here, there is always parking right in the front, super convenient especially when you gave children. This store is pretty big compared to the other dollar tree's. They are super organized with everything! Big props to the employees here who takes the time out to organize and make everything look good for us customers. It impresses me when I see the toy section being clean and organized because those are the sections that are usually messy. They have a Wide selection if bday bags, gift boxes, cards, candles, toys, office supplies , you name it. Only reason why I didn't give a full 5 star was because they do lack a bit in customer servicing. There usually isn't enough staffs to help you if you have a question and there are times where the cashiers are just plain rude. But overall this is hands down the best doll at store I have ever been to ! read more

This dollar tree is literally across the street from Cal state Fullerton. Easy walk for students. Didn't take long. Staff is helpful and polite. The products are well organized, and have good quality. Some of it looks like it could be $25. Other items, not so much. Lots of seasonal decor. I came there for Halloween, and Christmas decor for my dorm. Lots of cute stuff from bells to bows and scary stuff. School supplies are in abundance. Frozen food section doesn't contain a huge variety. No ice cream tubs. Very good for a dollar tree. read more

Today I went to buy some items for a party that I'm having tomorrow,, I did find everything I needed, when I was at the check out, I asked the cashier, if they had balloons and she said no, "we are out of helium" In the next register was the manager and she answer rude " there is a sign that saids we don't have helium" I didn't even get to the area of balloons, that's why I asked. Went into line with a white woman with dark hair uncomfortably flirting with a tall white man, once it was my turn her demeanor changed entirely, she became very rude and would not look me in the eye. With me being a brown man and how quickly her attitude changed entirely I genuinely believe she had some kind of racist problems and I felt very intentionally mistreated throughout the whole experience. I asked her if I could get some change in quarters if I get cashback, she said YES she can do that, and again was very blatantly disrespectful and rudely told me to wait when her coworker interrupted to tell her something. She handed me my receipt and I had to be the one to tell her "Excuse me, what about my cashback?" Like are you mentally incapable I just told you I needed cashback less than a minute ago? She proceeds to take out my change, visibly annoyed, and I ask if she can, ONCE AGAIN, give me it partially in quarters like she said she would do. She begins to and then some dinosaur-age looking old woman stops her and aggressively says no. She talks down to me and tells me they absolutely do not do that. Keep in mind this is the ONLY reason I came into the store and ASKED BEFORE I bought something to make sure, now I've wasted money for absolutely nothing because of these incompetent ass 1st grade level education workers like holy shit. That old women-esque beast needs to learn to stop being rude to customers and also this company, although no one expects much of it, should have some form of minimum respect for itself to hire better people than the absolute gutter shit that are there now. Then the manager comes and tells me I need to make a line in the cashier if I want balloons. I told the manager that I was told 20 minutes ago to wait in the balloon center and she told me that I need to make a line in the cashier or I wouldn't get help. What is going on with Dollar Tree? They have no employees. Only one cashier, long lines to check out. It looks to me that Dollar Tree is having some trouble and have cut their employees in an effort to be profitable. So the service suffers and that shows. The cashier at one of their stores (not this one) said they had cut their hours and they only had two employees at a time. This is a pretty big store, that does NOT sound adequate to me. I walked out empty handed, if the lines are this long to pay them I can't shop here. I hope they can solve this problem. I think it's an inherent problem with the 99 cent store format, as time and inflation march on it becomes harder to find enough stock that is appropriate to sell for that fixed price. So something you can get that would be a great deal at $2.49, they can't buy it because it doesn't *fit* their format. Because of this their store format is fatally broken. Favorite store because they LITERALLY have everything. I'm writing this review because today (sep. 20 2018 @ 9:30am) I decided I needed to pick up some supplies for a project. My car has been in the shop since Monday so I decided to ride my bike because I live down the street. As I get there I notice I didn't bring my bike lock key, I ask kindly one of the ladies (she was an old lady with long grey hair and glasses. A white lady) at the register if I can leave my bike right there while I grab 2 things! She tells me no. I get back on my bike and take my business to the .99 cent store. I've never gone here in the morning but in the evenings they have younger workers who are waaaaay friendlier. I understand why my bike could have been a safety hazard but when my products I needed were literally right there and no one was in line so I'm pretty sure I would of taken 2/3 minutes max of her time and space. I just feel like how can you have that attitude or not be a little generous when I'm pretty sure college kids go here all the time with the same struggle!!!! There are tweakers outside. I don't want my nice bike to get stolen. Would it of really hurt her to help me out for a minute? And they don't even have bike racks so tell me where the hell I was suppose to lock my bike up anyways? read more

I live in the nearby neighborhood and was SO excited to have A Dollar Tree open in the former Smart & Final spot. This space is huge for this type of store and it's clean and well organized. I hope it stays this way because I love shopping here. My only complaint is that they need to have more available checkers when it gets busy OR better yet have better trained ones. Right now I've only observed a couple who seem to know what they are doing and greet you with a smile. The store is still relatively new so this may change as their employees gain more experience. read more

Since this store just opened, it is very clean and organized. Well worth the extra penny cost compared to the 99 cent store across the street. A bit smaller but they also have some grocery and frozen food items. Their candy selection is not as extensive though. read more

I go to a lot of Dollar tree store and this has a huge selection! The supplies are good but the service is subpar. I bought a bunch of valentine vases, champagne glasses, valentine ribbon, and valentine bags today. But when helped by Joel (? Short dark hair, average weight) at register, he had a very bad demeanor. When told that I was rung one too many items (2 extra items (a vase and champagne glass), the African lady asked him if he rung it separate, he blatantly said yes he did. When in reality he only count items and scanned using one item, not one item at a time. At first store lead Joe (?) said no refunds but to pick two items otherwise no money back. When I told him, "even though it was not my fault?" That's when he took care of it and gave me back a refund. The register employee never apologized or took ownership of his mistake. This employee is bad and he needs to be held accountable. At least the store lead apologized. read more

Very, very clean, not sketchy at all, nice employees, and pretty good merchandise. I picked up a few Halloween decorations and a name brand dish soap. An excellent place to go if you're a teacher as they have a lot of classroom supplies. Also great for cheap craft supplies, especially for Christmas time. Nice greeting cards are 2/$1.00 and they have a great selection of giftbags/tissue paper and most of it doesn't look like it cost $1.00. read more

This is an amazing dollar tree. Everything is always clean and organized, something that you wouldn't expect from a dollar tree. That being said, they also have everything! From household items, to cleaning supplies, toys, and party supplies. I got a soap dispenser here for a dollar and saw a similar one to it at target for 4$. I also threw an entire baby shower by buying decorations from the dollar tree and it came out to 60$. meaning i got 60 things. The amount of money you'll save here is great and this dollar tree is worth a visit. read more

Usually these places are a dump, but this one is very neat and everyone is nice and it makes it easier to find all the cool stuff Dollar Tree has to offer. I'm really crafty and I like to make gifts for people and it's so much cheaper than going to Michaels but in the past years, I've gone there because it's more organized but since I've gone to this dollar tree by my school, I can do all my projects at a third the price.
