My only complaint...the stocks on the floor, or misplaced stock...same at all the stores! Ha-ha-ha! My wife loves this store for the items she can pick up, mainly from the Home and Garden section. Bargain or not...? I accompany her to the store as I find it the duty of every loving husband to play the cart-pusher and security guard...and driver! And payer, first and foremost! Ha-ha-ha! But I do pick up some items in the store. Mainly, at the food section. And most of the times, the trail mixes! I have a feeling that I might get it cheaper somewhere...but the nice thing about it is that it's there and it's there now! I can order it from Amazon, and maybe cheaper too...but I want to be driving home munching on the trail mix, and not a second more! I've also picked up a few business shirts at a price lower than I could find from the outlet stores nearby. Maybe. Sometimes, a wall picture/painting or two for my office. I've done quite a bit of shopping at the aforementioned stores in the past year, and I can confidently say that mom was onto something. Marshalls has a large selection of items at different price points, so there is something for everyone. They have a lot of smaller items at low prices that can be used as stocking stuffers or in DIY gift baskets for the holidays. It does get messy sometimes, but it's usually not too bad.

On this trip, I found a cute set of mugs and some great snacks on clearance. I will note however, they're notorious for putting trash out to sell lol What do I mean by that? Example, pricing a broken measuring cup with a missing handle for $0.30 It's funny and annoying at the same time lol Why put that out on the shelf like it's a goodwill? The holiday selection at HomeGoods is far superior to almost anything around. It's a mix of Big Lots, Rite Aid, Michaels, and Macy's. The variety is impressive. My only issue is with such a small store, the holiday's usually take over a good 1/3 or even 1/2 the store making regular everyday things a little harder to find. What I do love is the name brands they carry. Last Christmas, the had some Lenox dishes. And while they are less expensive, a full set can still run a hundred or so dollars, but it's better than the 3-4 hundred at Macy's. The store still feels a big junky and disjointed. Not as bad as Goodwill, but sections can feel close. You also have to look carefully at what you're buying. We were looking for a laundry basket, and it took a while to find one that wasn't damaged. And not everything is cheaper. We found a better and less expensive garbage can at Costco, so do you price comparisons. The people that work there are nice enough. I haven't had to ask anyone of the floor for help, the checkers do take the time to wrap what you're buying if you ask them. And on a plus side, they actually have restrooms! This is good since the mall no longer exists.

Since we have two members within our household, that's two bottles a month! I decided to host my own wine tasting at home with those wine and Home Goods in city of Orange definitely made my life much easier by carrying all kinds of beautiful drink ware and home decor for me to entertain my guests. The prices at Home Goods are always great to begin with, and since tax is lower in Orange County than in LA County, I save even MORE money when I shop here. The cashiers here were very efficient and the lady helping me took her time wrapping all my ceramic plates and wine glasses. They also have REALLY cute reusable bags there, which is a HUGE plus for me because I collect all their bags! I can't wait to come back here the next time I am in the area.

Love the stationary area and all the cute little nicknacks and home stuff and cute little random things you can find. I was actually in shock at how much more they have than the one I go to. I could've looked all day, but I didn't want to go crazy LOL I definitely wanna come back to this location. I'm so happy I found book ends for my books. They kept falling on my nightstand and I'm trying to keep them up with things around the house, but it wasn't working haha. Thinking maybe I can find them here and I did and I'm so happy with them they work perfectly. I also got baby girl a pencil case for her school pencils. The employee that rang us up was so nice, so sorry I didn't catch her name. But she was so nice and friendly with a smile. I guess she was a manager and having a bad day because she absolutely accosted me about whether I was looking or buying. I mean, I've been in loss prevention jobs. I get it. But wtf? I'm a peppy person who has been in that store once before and bought a large amount but I didn't receive the third degree that time. I doubt I'll be going back because of that lady. I was even roped into way too long of a conversation with a guy last time I was there and maybe that's why the lady was so hostile towards me? Either way, if she wants business she needs to not judge people by their appearance and hound them literally the moment they walk in the door.
