I stopped at this Dollar Tree in Boca to get a few items and I liked the store, the entrance felt roomy and ample and the store itself was pretty well organized and nicely stocked. I got a few greeting cards and I stood in line to pay. The lady at the cash register was not really a very customer focused employee...I saw how she treated the customers in front of me and it was just the bare basic human communication as payment was exchanged for merchandise. When it got to be my turn, she had the longest face and the most unfriendly attitude. That's a shame because every customer should be treated with the minimum amount of courtesy as their purchases help pay for this person's salary. This is my store I always shop at for my holidays and daily needs. I went in today to do my first ever return at Dollar tree bc the 12 $3 baskets I bought were too big. The manager that had to help with the return huffed and puffed annoyed I would not exchange instead of returning. I can't believe how rude she was but I will never step foot in this store again. I left with my items not returned as telling her she's rude and aggravated. Probably should look into a more pleasant person to be in management. read more

The company now operates close to 15,000 stores in 48 states. The company also operates the Family Dollar chain. Today I learned that not all Dollar Trees are created equal. I was in the plaza at the Goodwill and decided to check out the Dollar Tree next door. Man have I been missing out. This Dollar Tree is larger and better than any other location I have been in. I feel ripped off now that I don't have one of these near me. The freezer section is ginormous with all kinds of yummy ice cream bars. They have something called the Snack Zone with tons of cookies, crackers, chips, and candy. None of it is good for you but you would be the VIP of any road trip. One of my finds today was Late July Buffalo Queso chips. I have paid so much more for this brand in Publix. I also bought Oven Baked Fudge Mint Cookies, no need to wait for the Girl Scouts to come around. I found all of the fixings to make microwave s'mores for the camp kids. Fun size Hersheys chocolate bars, graham crackers, and marshmallows for $1 each. I also bought some inexpensive cleaning supplies for my room at camp because in the age of Covid you can't clean enough. I even found microwave popcorn which the kids like to have with their Friday movie. I probably could have bought a lot more but even dollar items start to add up after awhile. I wish all the Dollar Trees had this much selection. read more

I come here for just about anything. It's a great place to get holiday items like wrapping paper for Christmas, Easter candy and baskets, etc. The one thing that they sell at reasonable prices are greeting cards for all occasions. I also like to buy things like air freshener for the car here. I very seldom purchase food here, although they have a frozen food section. When aI make something for small gifts, I come here. For example, I visit nursing homes during the holidays. They have enough containers and small items to fill them with to make large quantities of small gifts. This Dollar tree brakes Florida ADA Law by not allowing customers to use their bathroom. There's a sign on the door it says no merchandise in the bathroom and a new sign that says no customers beyond this point. Someone should correct this manager about public bathrooms in a public store. read more

I'm not a fan of this dollar tree. Every time I go there are huge lines and only one or two cashiers ringing customers up. It takes over 25 minutes to check out here and the store does not have the same great quality items as other dollar trees I've been to. read more

This is the worst Dollar Store I've ever been in. Messy, dirt, yellow dingy lighting and the absolute worst employee. A young guy that needs to never be allowed in costumer service. He is the worst out of the ones that I have encountered here but not the only one sadly. Dollar Stores are a great place to get all the little things you would have to pay much more than a dollar for. Such as paper clips, small journals, pads, liquid soap, Ibuprofen, etc. Dollar stores have taken the place of the old 5 and 10 cent stores. Dollar tree is great because they keep their word and only charge a dollar per item. So many other so-called dollar stores just charge whatever they want leaving you confused as to what the price will be. Dollar Tree is the only one I've been into that charges $1.00 per item--No confusion! The Dollar Tree that I'm reviewing is one of the larger ones with frozen food sections and many other items not stocked at other smaller Dollar Tree stores. Darn it caught myself checking in at another Dollar Tree. Why? Because there are a lot of bargains to be had! Let's face it, the Dollar Tree is an institution unto itself. An original. Sure some people see deep discount stores as just cheap merchandise that doesn't last long but I see it as a cost effective way to save money where possible. My #1 purchase is always the "cheater" reading glasses. My optician told me years ago that the eyeglasses sold in stores are relatively safe for your eyes but not aligned to the distance between your pupils. No biggie according to him... My #2 purchases are usually for quickie costume accessories or paper goods for parties. So get out there and put your hard earned dollars to work and get every penny out of them LOL!!!! read more

This Dollar Tree is HUGE! At first, I thought it was just me, but when I looked around the store, I realized how large the space was. They carry everything you would expect in a typical Dollar Tree--snacks, candy, toys, cleaning supplies, party supplies, seasonal novelties, kitchen items and more. This particular store has a pretty sizable pastry section--something I hadn't necessarily seen before. But who's complaining?!?! There's also a frozen foods section along the right side of the store. Entrance into this plaza can be a little tricky but after you've done a couple times, it comes much more easily. read more

I have to say when it comes to products this is the best one I have ever been to hands down!! However I have been coming to this particular one on and off since 2014 and I have to say that the customer service experience is a big fat ZERO. However they never seem to disappoint in entertainment, but my sense of humor is kinda different. I was here just yesterday and I laughed the whole 30 min I spent in the store. Mostly because of the manager who happened to be communicating with everyone (customers included) via the loudspeaker. So I pick up a Halloween decoration and look at it while thinking "Do I need this?" my first amusement occured "Attention customers of Dollar Tree. I ask that you please put things back on the shelf if you decide you don't want something please put it back on the shelf where you got it. We are trying to keep the store in order to prevent anyone fron slipping and falling. As always thank you for shopping in Dollsr tree." . Well I shook my head and put it back on the shelf, I decided I didn't need it. Next I saw the line was a bit long so I continued to walk and shop a bit. Ten minutes later the nect message came through the speaker "Carolyn I'm gonna have to give you a break a little later hun I'm sorry, but we have long lines and I need you to help chevk out." Great so maybe because I am a customer now someone can not take her probably much needed break, plus I'm sure she now feels great that EVERYONE in the store knows she needs a break. Let me continue to walk around maybe the line will calm down a bit because now I feel so bad for the cashiers. Oh and the last one did it for me for sure. I picked up a Renuzit air freshner and it happened to fall in the floor, the next thing I hear is DING (HERE GOES THE INTERCOM SARGENT AGAIN) "Attention customers if something happens to fall and break please bring it to the girls in the front. Thank you." OMG I was done. Now I feel like I am being followed by the cameras and it was time to go. The variety of products alone hold this store at 3 stars. The customer sevice is what is preventing me from giving it anything higher. So unprofessional, so so so far from giving customers a pleasant experience. Nice store but horrible customer service and always long lines with usually 1 or 2 cashiers working if your lucky. Today I came in to buy 3 items.. waited in line and a customer ahead with a cart load of items left the items instead of paying for them after they were scanned. The manager decided that they had to hold up the line and rescan the entire cartload, each item individually, into the system instead of just cancelling out the sale and wanted the entire line to wait or get on the end of the other line and wait again. I left instead of waiting and went elsewhere. This is a consistent problem with this store, they are always understaffed and the managers are usually rude and unhelpful. read more

I do not even know where to begin. I would rate customer service a zero. Yes, a zero. I was going to ask an employee, who turned out to be the manager, a question about where the paper bags were, and she dismissed my question. In shock that I was treated so poorly by an employee, I responded. Next thing I know, the police are at the store escorting me out and now I am banned from Dollar Tree (not that I was planning on going back anyway). Find a new manager who actually knows how to talk to customers, because seriously, I have never had an interaction that negative at a store. Great Store, Horrible Customer Service Today! After getting home and unpacking my purchases, I noticed that there was liquid all over the bottom of one of my DT plastic bags.... apparently coming from one of the 2 Sour KoolPops Icees that I purchased. As I reviewed my receipt, I also noticed that Michael, the new (65 yr old..as He told me) cashier had charged me twice for a mac&cheese cup. I purchased one, got charged for 2. Both issues should have been EASY to fix, right?! So, I called the store immediately and after THREE try's, finally got through approx 20 minutes before closing. A woman answered, said she was a Mgr, so I explained my issue and asked if I could exchange the KoolPops and get my total adjusted the next day... And she said "NO WAY" You have to COME NOW! I won't be here tomorrow, and the other Manager won't do it!" HOLY COW!! What kind of customer service is THAT?? Great Value is nice, but, if you treat your customers like THAT....you will NEVER Succeed! Please Help Me Continue to Believe in your Brand. Thank-you read more

One of my favorite Dollar Tree's. Very clean and always well stocked with all the items I'm looking for. They also carry the new line of sunflower kitchen plates, mugs, bowls, etc. I went in the day of 4th of July and they had plenty of decorations to choose from. Great experience. read more

I was shopping on a Sunday, early afternoon, and accidentally dropped my cream soda. Entirely my fault. I apologized and offered several times to clean it myself. An employee came and was more than rude, he was insulting me. He was on the clock, yet he was on the phone with his friend. A private call, while on the sales floor, where he told his friend, "I am not cleaning this up,.. this drunk guy who dropped his drink on the ground, and I'm not dealing with it." Meanwhile there were children in the store who could have potentially cut their feet or hurt themselves; this guy didn't even grab a 'caution, wet floor' sign. Having been a business owner myself, I would IMMEDIATELY terminate an "employee" for behaviour like this. The rest of the staff was calm, cordial, patient, and polite; dealt with the matter entirely appropriately and helped clean and restore order entirely efficiently. I wish I'd gotten his name, but this man has NO BUSINESS working retail, hospitality, or any public service position AT ALL. Thank you for regarding my statements. I WILL be mak8ng formal complaint in person, and continue shopping at this store, but this man should be terminated. Thank you! read more
