I'm disappointed to report that this Stop and Shop location has seen better days…read more I usually only stop in if I'm in the area and in need of a few staple items for an upcoming recipe or impromptu gathering. The produce is hit or miss... they're either fully stocked or just crumbles left on the shelves. I usually scurry by the seafood counter because more often than not, it is malodorous. The rest of the place seems clean, there's just always that smell I don't perceive at other grocery store seafood departments. The rest of the store is fairly well stocked of late but the prices are out of this world. Pricing is up everywhere, don't get me wrong. I'm talking items that are significantly more than what I pay at my usual place each week. For example, lobster pricing at my go-to (non-sale price) was $9.99/lb while Stop and Shop was $15.99/lb same week! This is an extreme example but I always pay more for the same or seemingly lower quality. Parking lot is large, store is easy to get around. It's been fairly quiet my last couple visits, making for a quick in and out. Not a lot of people about. The staff are nice and attentive though. All in all, I prefer to take my business elsewhere.

For a change of pace, its not a bad thing. The asides are bigger and are slightly slanted and store is clean and simple. Now I would say it's a step above Aldis, but slightly more expensive. All that said, this store has a terrible parking situation. Small, shared lot, and the light is long and tends to back traffic up. They really could benefit from moving across the street to old Price Right where the parking is much more ample, and there's more space for traffic to back up. They could even add a little space if they did that.

Eggs, dairy, meats are all less here. Quity canned goods and produce. They offer weekly sales on a variety of home goods and sell seasonal items. We definitely save money shopping at Aldi's. Private lot, bring a quarter to access the shopping carts (you get it back when the cart is returned) one or two manned check-out lines and several self check-out kiosks. Bring your own bags or buy one of their reusable bags.

So I've been here a handful of times to this…read morelocation and I usually get lucky and someone will just give me their carriage when I forget my quarter, but this time I went in and asked if I could borrow a quarter which online it said you can do, and the cashier was so nice and I promised I would give the quarter back, which indeed I did and they seemed shocked. But any-who, this location is always very nicely stocked and I seem to find an employee on the floor whenever I need one whenever I have a question, which excites me. My sister is the one who put me on to Aldi, the prices are amazing and am able to stretch the money I have and get quality items, which makes me happy in this economy right now. They do charge for bags but I bring my own, so that's never an issue. I just hate having to bag my stuff since I do a full shop here but that's okay. The food items are of good quality, and they taste great. Honestly every since I started coming here I don't go to the other markets. This location does get packed really easily, but they open lines very quickly. As soon as they see lines starting to grow, they open registers and the employee scan very rapidly, it seems like a race and I am shocked at how quickly they scan and get you In and out. The atmosphere here is not bad, can get a hit chaotic but for the most part everyone is nice and courteous. Give this Aldi's a go it's a nice size as well and the produce always seems fresh!

I picked up everything I needed. Unfortunately I did have to get a paycheck for one item I was interested in they didn't have but that's typical of any store. If there's something is really good or the price is reasonable or is fresh and you run out people do giving checks and that's the good part about it. Plus one of the good things about Stop & Shop. They have a never ending rain check you can get one and keep it for as long as you need to get the project you're looking for.
