Small place with…read more cool stuff Tag Sale Treasures is a small store located right in Pawtuxet Village. Certainly not a large place, it's cramped and crowded with stuff. Type of place where you have to turn sideways at times to get by things. I'm not sure what the building was built for originally but it is obviously has been around for a while. The inside is basically several small rooms stuffed with stuff. All kinds of antiques, linens, old signs, clothing, furniture and plenty of cool knick knacks and doo dads. Things seem to move in and out quickly so every trip is a new adventure. The folks that work here are pleasant and friendly and let you take your time and look around without bothering you. That's a good thing because there is a lot to look at even though it's all in a small area. Mundane and common things mixed in with the unusual. The last time we happened by we saw a reproduction antique sink that was exactly what we were looking for. The price ended up being substantially lower than on line catalogs we were looking at. It was easy to install and works and looks great. A pleasant and unexpected find in a cool little store.

I knew what I needed a gift, a birthday card and batteries for the toy. This location is always packed and cluttered, and it's been this way since I was little. Just people and inventory always everywhere. I couldn't find the batteries an employee named Peter helped me and told me several places I could find batteries (very sweet), I grabbed all I needed and the batteries. The batteries clearly said 3.77 when I bought it to self check out it said 4.97, I signaled the young lady employee who had a serious attitude and told her and she said it rings up 4.97 , I continue to tell her all the batteries were in that spot with this price. I ask her if there are any batteries nearby versus me going all the way to the other side of the store which is where I originally started. She told me no. The only place was to get the batteries behind a register where I would need to get an associate. So I simply went all the way back to the spot where I originally got the batteries, took a picture and brought it back. The price was still not honored. I grabbed different batteries took a picture of that in case that became an issue as well. I told her to please remove the old batteries from the queue of things that I was buying and she said which one with a severe attitude that was the only thing that I had scanned was the batteries (I left my items with my boyfriend at he self checkout kiosk while I went to grab the batteries) . It's just straight up ghetto in here. I will not be returning. If you have employees, they need to be doing their job not just getting paid to do absolutely nothing. She much preferred to be chatting with her other coworker versus doing her job. I'm ONLY giving an extra star because Peter was a sweetheart otherwise I would give this place 0 stars. The parking lot is like parking in the zoo, horrible.

I needed help with my coupon, there was a young lady whom was monitoring the checkout but was looking down at her phone. When I said excuse me and asked for help she just looked up at me like I was bothering her then when I said I needed help she decided to walk over to me. She was not pleasant and for this reason I gave a 3 star review

I found…read moresome really nice snack items for much less than I would had paid if I had gone to a regular grocery store. The line to pay was a bit long, and the register guy was not overly friendly, but it's a value option for many. Founded by Marc Perlman, Alan Perlman, and Roy Dubs in 1977 as a single store, it now operates 145 stores in the US and has more than 5,600 associates. Its selection of merchandise comprises a variety of discounted household goods, apparel, pet supplies, kitchen pantry staples, and seasonal products (holiday, gardening, patio, pool and beach supplies); a majority of these items are unsold and/or excess merchandise purchased in bulk from other retailers such as Walmart, Publix, or Target that are then sold at deeply discounted prices. Ocean State Job Lot was founded in 1977 in North Kingstown, Rhode Island.

The store is well stocked but they don't always have what is advertised in the flyer. Customer service needs improvement. Not once has anyone ever said "Thank you" when checking us out. And we have spent hundreds of dollars at a time. I say thank you to the cashiers each time thinking that they would get the hint. Not so! I don't know if it's a generational thing or poor training. You would think they would be grateful in these trying times that people are shopping in their store instead of ordering from Amazon. They should treat their customers better or at least train the workers in proper customer service.

I had the opportunity to visit on Sunday, September 14th. Garden City Center's historic gazebo green transforms into a vibrant, open-air Farmers Market. The Farmers Market is every Sunday from May 18 through September 28 from 10 AM to 2 PM. I wandered and checked out the local vendors. There were a great variety of them. I purchased a really cute coaster from The Book Emporium RI. The Book Emporium RI sells books that are wrapped and you have a blind date with a book. I also purchased a lavender sachet from 15 Lavender Place. I spoke with the owner and she told me all of the lavender is lovingly home-grown and hand-harvested, ensuring the highest quality and care go into every product. There were soothing lavender eye pillows, relaxing neck wraps, sprays, and bundles of dried lavender. I also went to Fully Rooted to purchase two bottles of freshly pressed juices-Watermelon Slice and Golden Greens. There were also local food trucks, farm booths, and local makers. The Garden City Center Farmers Market is a market for everyone. Either if you just want to stop for coffee, get produce for the week, flowers, dog treats, see alpacas, and so much more.
