Looks like I'm not the only one to leave a review about the not so lovely cashier ... wow o ......First time here ... way to welcome a new customer . My doctor filled my prescriptions there to try to save me some money . Next time I'll just pay more to go to cvs . I called this am to see if they were ready since I'm not a regular customer I don't get notified that they are ... Amber answered the phone . Very short , huffing before I could even finish my sentence she interrupted and said I just need your name and dob.... Well ok . She couldn't hear my dob a couple of times so I repeated it louder and clearer which seemed to set her . When I came in only one lady with er at counter and I went down a middle aisle that seemed to be right , but apparently I was not standing in the right spot , and with my luck ...the cashier was Amber ... who very rudely told me I was not standing in right spot . So I said I apologize it's my first time here ... went to right spot , the lady left , so I walked up .. no sign saying "don't walk up !!!" And she started answering the phone and said "I wasn't ready for you so you'll have to wait "... WOW... I tried apologizing again feeling like the biggest a hole ... she then mumbled after she got off of one call "Jesus people " like she hates her job so much . I feel bad for her . She is a miserable person but that really hurts your customer base having a small business up against the giants with that kind of service as your face front ... I will never ever let my doctor send my prescriptions there again and I will be going on google , next door , etc Do better read more

CAUTION...... this is not the pharmacy for you! The staff have no concern for you or the pain you are in. I was unable to get my important medication filled because they only filled 1 of 2 prescriptions that were ordered at the same time. I had to go 15 hours without medication. This incompetence is unacceptable. The girl I spoke with hung up on me because it was 5:55pm, they were closing at 6:00pm. PILLPACK pharmacy is great. Such a wonder how things get done here. Not only did my doctor have to fax in the prescription twice but I gave the pharmacy 5 hours to fill it. When showing up a 2nd time, I was told they hadn't received the prescription and I had to insist that it was faxed again at 8:45 this morning., which it was. I was then told it would be 10-15 minutes to fill so I left, did my grocery shopping at BP and came back over 30 minutes later to be told that it would be another 10-15 minutes to fill. I felt stuck because my daughter's wisdom teeth surgery was the next day. Next time-and hopefully there will never be a need since we heal with food not drugs- I will go somewhere else. Sorry local but this vendor left me upset and frustrated. Not giving them any more of my time. read more

Great neighborhood pharmacy. Have a lot of sundries, gifts, cards, personal care items. The waiting areas are very small, so calling ahead is a good idea. The technicians are efficient and courteous. The back counter is confusing. I think they have a flu shot clinic, vaccination station, back there?No public bathrooms here! The pharmacist is personable and thorough, which is the best reason to take your business here. read more

Talk about unhelpful! I was attempting to transfer a prescription to another pharmacy in town, simply due to Dokimos very limited hours and WOW instead of helping me I was told to just have my doctor call in another prescription to the pharmacy. This means I have to wait to get the medication I need and not sure why they simply cannot transfer the prescription. Never giving this place a dime again! read more

Absolutely fantastic! I truly don't understand how anyone is still going to the big corporate pharmacies any longer with Dokimos in town! The staff is so friendly and warm, as well as being extremely helpful and knowledgeable. You can call and reach a real person every time, unlike the chains. But above all, their thoroughness is what I appreciate most. No lost prescriptions, failing to receive refill requests or the like, as you get from the corporate ones. Stop wasting your time with them and switch to Dokimos ASAP!!! read more

The pharmacy cashier is the rudest person. I witnessed her berate a hearing impaired person for not understanding. Strongly advise all hearing impaired people to avoid this place and anyone else for that matter. read more

The antidote to CVS! Awesome pleasant local pharmacy. Same brands as the mega stores without the two star annoyances. Yay for Dokimos!

Dokimo's is a great local pharmacy. The lines are long like CVS or Raley's. The staff are professional and helpful. When they had a problem filling a specialty prescription they quickly let me know and arranged for a nearby pharmacy to help me out. read more

I had gone to Dokimos East Main based on the reviews here. We had lost our pharmacy when K mart closed. Rather than use a big box pharmacy (RiteAid) we wanted to support local. My wife has medication for het COPD that is vital to her daily existance. We went to the pharmacy a day or two after the prescriptions were called in. They had automatically substituted a different drug assuming we didn't have insurance. Saying the prescribed drug "was very expensive". Upon presenting our insurance and prescription cards the counter person became obviously flustered saying "I don't know what to do with this". I replied " there is an 800 # you can call". Still obviously confused he began mumbling incoherently. Finally arriving at the conclusion that they didn't take our insurance without calling or contact. We asked if they didn't have the prescribed drug, could they transfer the script to RiteAid (who took over kmart pharmacy clients). "No we can't". This is a med that is essential to allow regular breathing patterns that they may or may not have had. And decided to substitute a basic inhaler for. Incompetent doesn't even begin to describe this. My two cents, AVOID!! read more

I called over a week prior and spoke to an individual in the pharmacy. I asked if they took my insurance and was told yes. I was then asked what the Rx was, I told them pain meds as I just had surgery, I also wanted to move my husbands Rx's over. They were unable to take my husband because I was told they reached their limit on narcotics to the degree he needs and cannot take anymore people with that Rx :O! They told me they could take me because it was a one time thing and a small amount. It took me 4 days to get this Rx transferred to this pharmacy and I even called yesterday to see if they had it. They said they did not receive it. so again I called my doc that had documentation of sending it to them. However they agreed to send it again. I received NO call from the pharmacy stating they could not fill it. I called today and was told they reached their limit and could not fill it. I was appalled. I have worked in the medical field and do my homework and trust nothing, however when you do that and still get told that it is not so, it is more than frustrating. I no longer trust this pharmacy and would not use them for any other drug needed either. I will drive 1/2 hour away to get some kind of real service. So Sad!!! read more
