There is a crazy story about how I ended up here...but I have to say the employees are super nice, and there is a great special for first timers, if you want to sign up. There is the required weekly email, so i declined, as I was just in town for the night. I went straight to the infused pre roll. My gentleman bud tender, was super nice and wanted to be sure I enjoyed my hi, with suggestions, if I was feeling anything funny/not so funny-ha ha! His information was educational, and appreciated as I do know that a particular terpine makes me a little nervous. So loved what I purchased, and will be back to this place, if I ever end up stuck in Grass Valley for the night. read more

It's later in the day 10:21 and they still can't update the website since opening at 9 am Told the kid inside how it causes stress to order without knowing what's on special Why I don't come here anymore I go to perfect union in sac No gimmicks no fake two hr sales you can't see read more

Come up here once a month I live out of town and I've been going to dispensary for a couple of months now. Today I went in before before I caught my flight to go home and I don't know if it's only because I purchased one item but the gentleman that was helping me didn't even acknowledge me. I was trying to talk to him. He was too concerned with talking to the ladies inside when he handed me a bag he literally just head into me didn't say anything even when I said have a good day, brother. Thank you very much. Didn't even acknowledge that a human being was literally talking to him. Also, the weed here is trash. It's always dry and they don't have much selection if I could give them zero stars I definitely would place a straight trash. This place is straight trash. read more

What has happened to this place? I've spent over $10,000 here and came back after a leave of absence. The weed pictured on their site looks absolutely nothing like the weed when you see it in person. Bought some White Walker OG ($60), and the nugs were all smalls, the weed is old, has a horrible smell and taste. Pretty disappointing. Provisions is where it's at. read more

I love this place... Normally. Everything's automated you can pay online WITH NO EXTRA FEE...NOT!!! Now apparently online payments won't work, you go in , if you charge it's 250 and if you use the ATM it's $2. It normally isn't an issue, but I don't think it's right... After spending that much money on the stuff, we shouldn't have to pay anything extra TO PAY. Be prepared to go in with cash. read more

Kind and knowledgeable staff. Got the on sale products and saved a lot . Absolutely great value! Lady in front of me was denied entry as she forgot her ID but I understand that's the law. She was cool about it too. read more

The service and the location were fantastic. I bought locally sun grown flower and was very disappointed with the quality of the product. Both strains were incredibly dry and flavourless. I was an expecting better quality from local growers. I'll definitely go in again and try another strain. read more

New to the area and have been going here, but am always unhappy with the visit. This is the closest place to me and I'm coming from an area where dispensaries are trying very hard to keep customers, here it seems like I'm not welcomed or that my business is appreciated. First visit usually places do first time deals and they advertise they do, but don't. I even asked if they do a first time deal and was told no. Each time I walked in I'd look for daily specials or deals and nothing, no customer loyalty I was told I needed to sign up for something but never got a link to sign up so just figured never mind. But my last visit, it's probably why I won't return. This isn't cheap material I'm paying around $200 each time I go in coming from an area for the same amount of weight but better quality was $120. Paying the extra $80 for worse product is why I'm most likely not returning. Adding to this, my birthday was last week and I go in and instead of saying happy birthday the security guard hassles me for current ID despite me pulling my it out and using it in front of him. When showing him the updated and current ID the correct response would be "happy birthday" not "your good to go in". You guys want to be jerks and have high prices that's fine I just probably won't be back. Many times legal things were brought up to me when shopping like I was being schooled and I was an idiot, I didn't like this. I'd like to add Business and Professions Code 175000 in regards to false advertising. This place is in violation of CA business laws in deceptive and false marketing I never brought it up but you can't advertise you have first time patient deals and various daily deals when I've been there 4 times now and have seen 0 deals you legally can't advertise this online and just not do it. I'm pretty upset about being hassled by security for my ID I think a proper method or approach would have been to say, "hey happy birthday I'm seeing your ID expired did you get it renewed?" Then either let me slide once saying "hey have it for next time okay?" Or hey I'm really sorry I need a valid ID for entry in which case I'd either show paperwork from the DMV or my ID. My ID being one week out of date doesn't change that I'm over 21. I had also used that new ID twice in the store and was just very thrown off by this. Like okay I guess I'm not wanted here. The product I got, it was on the higher for me $80 more than what I normally spend so I was expecting something tasty. What it tastes like is I got tricked. It shouldn't be hard to get good product here. Or they just don't care enough for their customers to source better growers I buy stuff because what I grow doesn't always turn out that great but what I've been getting from this place isn't much better than what I've grown in the past. If I'm going to be paying $80 more than normal for something better than I could do I sort of do have an expectation the products at this location would be stellar, but it is not the case. I could be fine paying extra thinking I'm helping people have a job but after that whole ID situation I'm just going to say it, this place doesn't like me and I don't like them. 2 stars for being the only game in town, with a small drive you can get better deals, delivery awesome deals, but this place has potential they just need help when it comes to customer service and how to welcome new customers in a way that encourages more visits not less. read more

Had a great experience here. Tons of selection from $12 eighths to very nice top shelf bud. I got the $80 oz deal and the flower was fresh and smoked very well. Thanks so much! read more

Decent selection, good technology, nice clean spot, lots of products. But be sure before you go here you take a mortgage out on your home to foot the bill. This is a money printing facility dressed up as cannabis dispensary. Literally $60-$65 PLUS the 35% tax PLUS they will charge you ANOTHER 5% if you want to use a card to pay. That's right, they will look you dead in the eye and won't hesitate to charge you nearly $95 for 3.5 grams of a plant that by the way, you can't smell at all. But that's not all. After squarely asking if there's anything else they can help you with (that is beyond charging $27 a gram for plant material), they will not hesitate to request a TIP for the 35 seconds they spent bringing you the gear you selected. Mind you this is after having absolutely no idea about the genetics, the heritage, the grow techniques used about any of their products many of which have cultivar names that the grower or the Elevation 2477 straight make up because they simply don't exist anywhere. Neat. So, no smell, no idea of the genetics, no idea about the type of grow it was cultivated in, but won't skip a beat to ask for a tip. I need to learn how I can resource this level of self-entitled confidence in my life. I had purchased some of their crazy priced flowers to review and found they were packaged over 3.5 months ago and were nearly completely devoid of any trace of flavor or scent. Just looked real pretty, like all the Instagram weed the kids are posting. aka straight boof, schwag who's value exists nearly exclusively in the potential likes you can get after posting about 'that life' 'fam' etc. The "compassionate" and "discount flower Friday" means: "Here's the inventory that's 9-12 months old we are literally going to be forced by the state to destroy!!! PLEASE, buy this old dust before we can't legally sell it for $50 an eighth any longer" And I do NOT recommend online orders or curbside pick-up as I have ALWAYS gotten gear that is 4 months old and older unless I'm physically in the shop so I can request something from the last fiscal quarter and not from a different fashion era. The greed oozes from every crevice. Use caution For the outrageous prices these money hungry people are seeking, I can afford the gas to drive to Roseville or Sac, get twice as much gear, not get harassed to tip, be able to smell the product I'm interested in, and even have some extra $$ left in my pocket. So, hard pass. read more

Love this dispensary! I have to give one of our rescue pups a very strong cbd tincture for his severe ptsd from torture in his previous life! Elevation 2477' - One of our rescues bear - Cannabis Dispensaries Near Me - Nevada City, California

Just consistently really outrageous prices and acutely difficult people carrying out the orders behind the register. I asked to select a clone before purchasing after the youngster behind the counter seemed to have selected the weakest most pathetic looking excuse for a clone I've seen a minute. When I asked him if I could select a better one he told me I couldn't, especially after touching the rockwool it was rooted in which makes exactly no sense. I had purchased clones from them in the past and I explained that had never been an issue to pick them to which the guy quickly explained that he had never done that in the past two years. While I was excited to learn that being a prick wasn't just a daily choice but something he had been practicing for years now, it in no way addressed the inconsistency in service, no place to learn about the opinions of the policies the individual serving the counter that day will be choosing and being told I had purchase some dying plant; it's enough to certainly avoid these clowns forever and go down the street to the spot on Idaho Maryland where they have the identical products for lower cost and no attitude. read more

The top shelf herb that I get from there is hit and miss. And the pre rolls are even worse. For the price they should sample more of there own product. They say they have a "compassion menu" supposedly for medical patients and I tried it out. And It was just products that are close to expiring . I also noticed when I purchase online. That They Give me older products that are also close to expiring. Sometimes the staff seems unfriendly and just rushes to get you in and out asap.... read more

The sales staff is really pushy asking for a tip. Now, don't get me wrong...I've been tipping 20%+ at restaurants for years. I work outside all year long. Last March when there was 4 feet of snow on the ground, I was out on my snowshoes with a chainsaw clearing roads. When it's 100° I'm clearing the forest for fire prevention. So when someone inside, with air conditioning and heat spends 1 minute getting me my product, I'm kind of astonished when they ask for a tip. I actually asked the person helping me why they deserved a tip, and they replied "because of my experience"...Lol! I've been smoking weed for 57 years, and this person was...30? Oh well, just sayin'...and hey, I gave her 5 bucks. I can afford it. Besides, I'm glad 2477' is here. But I would rather donate to the store, not employees who think that they are entitled. read more

I have been a long time customer since you opened. I am a senior citizen, and slightly dyslexic. I can never scan my ID correctly! I simply can't remember which bar code to cover with my finger - the security people have showed me over and over how to do it. Today the Bearded Guy lifted up the scanner to my liscense when I told him I was dyslexic. It made it so easy, and as I walked down the ramp I had to turn around to tell him what a kind act that was. I really appreciated it. Thanks Bearded Guy for excellent and compassionate customer service! read more

I've continued to be impressed with the product offerings, pricing, and customer service at Elevation 2477'. This establishment is certainly a leader in the cannabis retail arena and I'm grateful we have access to tested and safe cannabis products. I particularly like the Sparkly Pear Camino Gummies, they're predominately infused with CBD, but also have a small amount of THC, for a mild and relaxing effect. If you're interested in their products, you can check everything out online and even place an order. I prefer to visit the location because I enjoy the friendly staff and fun environment. Either way, you won't be disappointed. read more

Great location, great service, great selection. Products were reasonably priced. Would return again

I wish I remembered the name of our customer service person, Tim or Mike (really tall guy), but he was so helpful and, in a time where customer service has completely gone out the window, it was all there. We had looked everywhere for a dispensary that wasn't medical only or delivery only (they all had a minimum of $150-200), and because we are Oregonians now there was no way I could power down $200 worth of edibles in 4 days. And here we are, at elevation. Thank you for making our trip back to my home town extra 'special'. read more

Kudos to these friendly, knowledgable folks. Great selection and match Sacs pricesSO glad they r here Bianca was especially helpful

Called Elevation just to get some info on some products. Wow! Super rude person that directed me to the website. I've purchased there before, and am a local living in the community. I was hoping to talk about some options. Website is good. Not like talking to a real human though. Customer service on the phone= Terrible read more

Wonderful dispensary and people there and quality products, high quality!! Highly recommend this awesome dispensary!!

Went there on 6/25/20 and bought a half ounce when I got home and weighed out the product there was only 10g as opposed to the 14g advertised online and in store. So the next day I called (because I am from Citrus Heights) and they said if I drove back up the manager would take a look at the product and see what they would do about it. So I held off on product and waited until I could go back up the hill. Took a second trip up there 6/27/20. What looked like the manager came out and offered us a free 1/8 and two Pre-rolls. We accepted and was still charged tax on the products. Why are we paying tax twice?? We get home and the 1/8th was opened and it only weighted out to 2.4g. So we basically drove up there twice to be shorted twice. DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. This is not how wronged customers should be treated. How many others have been cheated and no one realizes read more

Most knowledgeable staff and just a great overall experience. The online is the best also

I have gotten some product from here, but I have to say, it is NOT consistent. First, cause of Corona you have to order online and they bring it to the car, leaving you unable to actually see what you get. A few weeks ago I picked up an Oz for $150 that was really really good. Went back last weekend and they had one for $120 and I figured only $30 dollar difference but it was trasshhhhh. With they would post better pics of actual product and allow people to not have to purchase sight on seen. Aside from that, the prices are not great unless you swoop some daily specials. read more

Great products and excellent customer service. Online ordering makes pickup super easy.

Tried again because they have a monopoly on dispensaries in town. And yet again I got sold straight up boof that was packaged over 6 months ago. Extremely disappointing. People are nice enough but jeez. Can't believe I let myself get ripped off here read more

Issue with plants. Told they would make good and replace. More issue with stuck up argumentative staff. Took business elsewhere.

I found the manger rude. I actually quit smoking so I never have to go back there. This is on several occasions.

I have been coming to this place since day one and I love it. I used to have to drive all the way down to Sacramento to get my concentrates. Very friendly staff and some good deals if you do your research and go on the right day. Their elevation brand of concentrates are very good quality and very reasonably priced. Definitely setting bar high for any other dispensaries that decide to open up in Nevada county. read more
