No receipt because they try STEALING YOUR MONEY they were taking about 5$ out of what they were going to give me back in change.....I said something he said oh haha I was tired I'm like sure you were buddy. No receipts so there'd be no proof probably also don't give receipts for cash FOR TAX EVASION. I went to the smoke shop near to get a lighter he said yeah they do that to a lot of people.....!!!! read more

Worst dispensary i ever been too. MAJOR RIP OFF. I spent 180 for an ounce of supposedly indoor weed. WEED was trash $500 per pound weed. They got me good. NEVER AGAIN. 180 for weed they bought for $35 an ounce. they do not care one bit about their customers. Worst experience even. They need to be shut down for selling trash weed. read more

I got a oz of 8ths and ordered online so I cherry picked different good ones, first and last time trying this dispo the quality was horrible in each one, there all dry and crunchy but says there packaged last month they weren't a thing near the real strains shouldn't be calling it something that it has nothing in common with especially when u charge that much for what it is. extremely disappointing. read more

I have been going to golden state for years. I ALWAYS CALLED and placed an order. Today my daughter called and a woman "Star" answered the phone and told her she had to order on line. My daughter said she never has. Star put her order through and when my daughter tried to say sorry, Star hung up on her. I called because I wanted to know what was going on and she was rude to me too. Then my daughter picks the stuff up and is told that "your mom's not welcome to come back" What? Ridiculous. We'll never be back. Also they're way too expensive. Sorry Cory, You're the only one I'll miss. Miss Darkstar can go pound sand! read more

Dont bother going if you don't have a medical card. Wasted our time. It's a total scam they send you next door to get the medical card. It's legal the medical card is not needed By the way I got a response asking how much extra did I pay?? Instead of responding with WHY you guys are sending people to spend money on a membership that is not needed. I did not use any ",rewards" because we are not from that town thank God. We were driving by and since we saw good reviews when thought we'd stop by and check it out. read more

The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I've been there multiple times. Supporting local mom and pop businesses during this time is a priority for me. I was so glad to learn that this family owned business is doing their best to support their clients and do whatever they can to stay open. They said the city/county requires them to follow medicinal only regulations, but it's so WORTH IT to stay local. Love this place, and the Herbal Alternatives store next door has a lot of natural supplements and remedies. read more

Went in for the first time a few days ago. Very fast and efficient in regards to sign up. All they did was scan my recommendation and look at my ID. I was glad there was no additional paperwork as I was on a work break. Prices are reasonable and competitive when shopping at other dispensaries. I was pleased with the variety of product. Would recommend and use again! Only down fall I would have to say is I ended up purchasing a palm leaf rolled blunt and a stem was rolled inside it causing it to pierce through the leaf and not hit correctly. I fixed it really fast but just annoying because I spent $20 on it. Other than that, experience was amazing! read more

I was not impressed by this dispensary. Prices are very expensive for the medicine. The only reason I went there was because my "regular" dispensary is temporarily closed (Canna Care in Sacramento). Today I discovered "Mom's Meds," a delivery service in Rocklin/Auburn---their prices are 70% lower than "GSPC." Stay away from these thieves!!! read more

I love the people here!!!! They're always so kind, informative, and looking out for your best interest. They always have really great deals and anything you're looking for. They're medical only but you can buy your card there!!! It's much better coming here than spending tons of money to get a delivery and having to wait for hours. Choose GSPC!!! read more

I felt disrespected and unsafe in this dispensary. During my visit one of the employees went to speak with the owner who was not wearing a mask, and the owner yelled at the employee to "take off your damn mask so I can hear what you're saying ". The owner seemed angry in general, not the kind of place I would call compassionate or patient focused. read more

Great to have this dispensary in Colfax!! No more driving to Sacramento! I bought some chocolate edibles and the price was very fair. Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. There's an armed guard at the door, don't let that intimidate you, it's just that way at all dispensaries. read more

Rip off price gouging dispensary. Prices in Sacramento are way cheaper and worth the drive. They charged me $50 for an eighth of Pineapple Kush, and although I couldn't find it visually, when I smoked it through a brand new glass pipe, it tasted moldy. A friend of mine went in a week later and mentioned that the same moldy strain was on sale for $50 per ounce! That tells me they know and they are just trying to liquidate. Not only that, but when I went in, I asked for the best they had. I walked away with two flavors, the second being Candyland Cookies, and both were picked before proper ripeness (Clear sugar - it should be milky white). That causes your high to drop off fast. It's really too bad that Placer County won't allow for these guys to have some local competition. To top if off, the new laws require vendors to have proper licensing, and since Placer County won't allow licensing at this time, this dispensary does not carry locally grown medicine. read more

Always happy after leaving this place. Everyone is respectful, welcoming and helpful. Everyone wears masks and nobody bugs you unless you ask- which I prefer. I didn't have enough cash when I went the other day and they were able to give me a little discount so I could afford what I was getting- very much appreciated! You need a medical card, and they can sign you up super quick and are relaxed about it. The store next door is full of CBD items and teas and essential oils etc... love it all! read more

TOO BAD, I DROVE BY THE OTHER DAY AND THE PLACE IS CLOSED! PHONE IS DISCONNECTED. But I will say that the reviews I did read I'm a little shocked. I have had nothing but great experiences here, except for the d*ck at the door checking ID, for several years. I have bought, only good stuff, expensive yes but the guys behind the counter have always been nice and helpful. Love this little spot! Clean as a whistle. Everyone from the security man to the intake lady to the budtender was polite, affable, knowledgable and respectful. A nice assortment from plants to medicine and yes, ingestibles as well! They do plan to remain medical so you'll need your CA recommendation in order to come in. It's outstanding to find a place this pleasant to visit and this trip yesterday is not going to be my last. read more

I am a local patient and GSPC is a life saver for me! The staff is very friendly and more importantly, they are knowledgeable about their products. They strive to find specific strains to help me (and others) and despite the reluctance of the local government to grant a licence, GSPC persisted on behalf of patients like me! Me and my friend were possibly interested edibles for her 83 year old mother and for my 75 year old mother. When we arrived and got out of the car this very handsome man told us we had to have a medical card to the tune of $25 each. Well we obviously did not pay that. Way over priced. I liked the other dispensary in Colfax better before it got shut down. First time i went in it was $35 for an 8th- second time i went in it was $50 for the same amount! What the fuck. I get supply and demand but Jesus. The bud tender also NEVER helps me out. Just stands their silent while I'm looking at stuff. Makes me feel uncomfortable. i have MANY reviews of clubs from the bay area, where, yea there is more competation but so what, that doesnt make up for all that is going on at the GSPCC. They seem to have 20- 35 strains of weird weed.Its all this stuff that is very cheap looking. I know that they dont like to pay out for the good herb to the vendors. asking for pounds for 1500 to 2000. HOW STUPID ARE YOU? Thats why they have shit. Its very sad, the patients suffer with poor med, and do you realize that they make 4000 dollers on a 2000 doller pound, That seems so wrong. They pay 2000 and we pay 50) an 1/8th. At least make up for the fact that you have shit by having better prices. Get it togeather guys. Avoid this one, check out budtrader or criagslist before this place read more

But honestly, that wasn't a dealbreaker since I was mostly there for carts and gummies anyway. What really rubbed me the wrong way... and the reason for the 3-star rating, was the attitude from the person helping us. My mom is new to vaping, and I already knew the battery style she'd like (and more importantly, the kind she wouldn't). The store had one option, and I politely said we'd skip it and use one I already have, one I personally use and love. Instead of accepting that, the staff member started making snide comments like, "Oh, if you want that cheap one..." and "You might not get a good high with that bad one..." over and over, even after I explained why I was choosing it. Let's be clear: I was still buying several cartridges and edibles. It's not like I was walking out empty handed. I just didn't appreciate being low key judged over a battery choice I know would work best for my mom. If we hadn't driven 30 minutes on my mom's birthday to check this place out, I honestly would have walked out without buying anything. Her comments soured the whole experience. Suggestion? Train your staff to read the room. Educate? Sure. Recommend? Absolutely. But repeatedly calling someone's preference "cheap" after they've already made their choice? That's not it. Everyone shops differently, and no one wants to be shamed at the register. Cute store, fun branding, and good products. But the vibe from your staff matters just as much and hers completely ruined this experience for me.

No question about it. One of the worst patient clubs around (but better than most of the non-bay area clubs). These folks running this place are crooks (if you think the other clubs are upset about Attorney General Jerry Brown's suggested guidelines that State law does not allow clubs to profit, just ask these tools what they think about it). Basically, they sell crappy home-grown - or VERY expensive. Not any other options at this dump. They also lie whenever their lips move. They told me they can't provide clones, "because it's illegal." Stupid group of people here. If selling clones was actually illegal, then how do they expect individual patients and caregivers (non-profit growers for a small amount of patients) to ever get any plants going? These are the biggest crooks anywhere. Hands down. Oh, one more thing: it's not uncommon for Placer County Sheriff deputies to watch the parking lot and write down license plates. I have even had experience on different occasions of deputies following after leaving this dump. It's a dangerous place and run by lying crooks. I went several times (over a long period, to be fair before reviewing them) and each time it was a worse experience than the visit before. Never going here again. Ever. read more

Going camping for the weekend? Live in the northern sacramento area? Then get your med card (because the county is medical only) and head over to the quaint and welcoming dispensary, Golden State Patient Care. All that you need, in a one stop cannabis shop! Vapes, flower, concentrates that always make my mouth water, edibles, and topicals! They truly listen to what it is their customers want to see in the store, and they only keep products that are tried and true by customers and employees alike! I love spending time here and hanging out with the local friendly staff! Plus, right next door is an herbal remedy shop for all of your natural remedy needs. A family owned place, that treats everyone just like that, family! As a brand ambassador for Heavy Hitters, I have had the pleasure of visiting GSPC multiple times, and every time I am there I have a great time talking, hanging out, and teaching customers about our product! They are compassionate, knowledgeable, and just great people! Worth a stop if you're driving by, in the area, or if you would like to be a patron to a great small dispensary in Colfax! read more

Make sure to stop by this dispensary if you're in the neighborhood! Friendly staff, positive vibes, local products, state certified cannabis products. I saw another comment on here with a guy's number offering to sell cannabis, none of his products are compliant, tested, regulated, ect. The safest way to purchase cannabis is thru a legal dispensary where all products are regulated and video recordings in progress. read more

I've been here only a few times coming down the mountain during ski season. Everytime I do go in the staff is courteous and helpful, good selection great outdoor too. Haven't looked into the edibles but seemed decent. Prices vary but usually I've found the cheaper stuff is actually better. I'll be going back for sure. I will say it was a little too crowded when I went in but I guess its just a small building. read more

Not sure why there's any bad reviews about this place? My experience with bringing my mom to a dispensary was very professional. She is new to cannabis and they were very informative and got her a low dose edible for sleep. She's a whole new person and she now goes there by herself. You do need a medd card but they are easy to get online. I would definitely recommend this place !!!!!! read more

This Club Gets A Bad wrap for being Medical i's not by choice. Recreational sales are banned by the City of Colfax. All the prices include tax and the variety is better than any dispensary or delivery service in the area ! Anyone saying having a medical card is a scam is misinformed there are many benefits to having one. And it only costs $25 a year now! read more

This little mountain medical shop is top notch! Quality of staff is outstanding, and they have a great selection to pick from no matter what you're looking for! They are huge RAD Vapes supporters too, which I love so much because it's my favorite vape brand! They also carry heavy hitters too which I love! Thanks for being so awesome you guys!! read more

What a great store. I was just in for my 3rd visit and I have to say, it keeps getting better every time. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and just an all around good environment. So thankful I don't have to travel to Sacramento to buy my medicine anymore. read more
