My little yorkie has a terrible time cutting his nails. Many vets and groomers can't finish his nails or put him in a muzzle, creating more trauma for my poor little 5lb good boy. The women working today let us help them make our fur baby extra comfortable and did one nail at a time. By the end of it, he was actually calm. Pet Parents beware do not take your dogs here! I took one of my dogs here for grooming and he came out with a bloody cut. I had taken him here before a couple of times and noticed him coming home not his usual self, snappy and a bit frightened. Sometimes he didn't even want me to touch him. I ignored it at the time, because i thought it might be normal behavior from dogs to feel scared but boy was i wrong. Aside from the fact that they make you drop them off in the morning and keep them there all day in a crate. They promise you a time but when you call, they tell you they don't have your dog ready. read more

I almost had my furry child stay here. I went to visit the facility to check it out. Stank of urine. The building is decrepit and the dogs there looked so sad. The energy was just off. The double sided glass they have behind the counter gave me really weird vibes. Like why would they need that unless they wish to hide something? Yes this area is a bit sketch but a boarding facility for animals is supposed to be friendly, safe and transparent with their interactions with someone's beloved furry family member. I have been bringing my Dog Zeek to Dog town for a while and just love the service. Bill the owner has always put the dogs first and always has room when we needed last minute overnight service. WORSE GROOMER EVER !!!! I wish I read the reviews before I took my dog. Appointment at 9 , he should be done at 12.30 and I called at 2 to know what happened. My baby was still in the crate after 5 hours and they haven't even started to cut his hair (BTW I didn't know they put the dogs in the crate for so long ) so I said there is no way I leave my dog for 2 more hours, The lady at front desk was beyond any words. I really think she needs to get fired , she doesn't know how to deal with customers.... You guys don't even know how to schedule an appointment , and you should know that when a customer is not happy , for a good reason , you have to apologize and not make him pay $ 30 for the bath. read more

I can't even give 1 star!! My Kai has been going to them, from day 1. The last time he went, I dropped him off at 8 a.m., was supposed to be done by noon, 1 p.m., latest. Was told, he supposedly bit DANIEL, the groomer, so they had to keep him longer. Got Kai home, after 9 hours, and have been working with him, to poop, and stop acting like he is being BUTT RAPED!!! We have taken our dog to Dogtown for years - but in Oct 2020 in the middle of the pandemic because our dog was overgrown and matted her thigh was sliced by the groomer. She is an older dog and we weren't able to get her groomed because once businesses opened back up we couldn't get an appt. The owner Bill was so apologetic and kind after she was cut, he met me at the vet and paid for her stitches/surgery. He also gave us two free grooming credits. Today I brought her back to them after not being groomed for several months - she is again matted and overgrown, but the owner was rude and I immediately and politely said, It's ok I will take her somewhere else. I left and Bill the owner followed me to the parking lot - he claimed that NO dogs have needed stitches from his establishment, he also claimed he makes 100% of their appointments Neither statement was true. It's interesting me that if NO dogs are ever injured in your establishment then I would think it would be easier to remember the one dog in hundreds that YOU DID injury. And if you make 100% of the appointments than why had I NEVER seen you or spoken to you on previous visits before you cut my dog? Bill argued with me for over five minutes in the parking lot - He proved to say many untruthful things today and I would never trust my dog with anyone who gets that verbally aggressive with customers. I couldn't believe what I saw Sunday afternoon 1pm Memorial Day weekend when we came home from out of town early to pick up our dog. There King was all alone,and when we called Bill Kelly, the owner, he was in North Scottsdale and would be there in 30 min. Are you kidding me. He wasn't out grabbing a burger across the street which I could understand, he just wasn't there. No one was there. I could have just put food out and left my dog in the garage if that's how I wanted him to be treated. This guy does not care about you or your dog. read more

I called in to ask if I could bring my dog as a walk in to get his nails trimmed. They said sure, come on in before 4pm. My dogs a 75 lb Staffy and he's never been problematic or aggressive but I have had a few groomers give me an outrageous price due to his breed alone. I didn't catch the lady's name, but she definitely greeted me warm and welcome and said she should assist me. What I loved and appreciated is she clipped and used a dremel on my dogs claws.. I've seen places that offer one or the other, or that charge more for the dremel. So it was such a FAST, SMOOTH experience and I can tell the kind lady that worked on my dog is very loving and experienced with all the dogs she sees. The other two ladies that were working were grooming two tiny cute pups that and it was an all around good vibe for the humans and pups in the building. I will definitely be back in the future.. best part was I was charged a reasonable price, less than I expected so I was happy to add a tip for this business. read more

Horrible last experience I've been going here for so many years and in the last year i haven't been happy with the groomers job. As soon as you walk in the lobby smells like pee and poop I understand dogs are there but that's was not a problem before it was always nice and clean it smelled like dog but not ast bad as pee and poop. I left my two dogs at 8:30am i called at 1:30 to ask if they where ready they said no. They called me at 4:00pm to tell me they where barely ready almost 8 hours to cut there hair and get groomed. Once I get there my dogs look horrible and smell horrible. they didn't look clean the haircuts where so bad I asked to be fixed and they said that my dogs don't let them cut there hair. my dogs have been going since they where puppies they are used to it and never have they had a problem. I told them I was not happy and they still charge me full price $70 for one and $65 for the smaller one. I was not asking to be free but atleast they should have tried to fix the problem and they didn't. very disappointed. Never going back read more

Took my larger Sheltie when was at a different location Was told when to pick him up. I came a few minutes earlier, and seen that the dog bather was finishing up.. She did know how to groom my dog... Still wet and missed many spots on his body, hair longer and shorter on some areas. Wanted cash or check... Wrote the check for 45.00,of which I should have stopped payment.. However, had to pay another groomer to finish the job. Paid twice.. Can't understand how they are still in business. According to the reviews I will never use them again. read more

I recently Took my dogs to get a groom. One of them came back with big cuts in both of us ears. No one mind to tell us that they accidentally cut his ears so that we could treat them.
