Driving home from Ohio to South Carolina yesterday, we received a call from camp. Zoey (CBW staff member) began the conversation with, 'Stella is fine". She went on to tell me that they were concerned about something and thought we should know. Zoey offered to send a photograph but, I declined because we have such trust in CBW. There was absolutely nothing we could do because we were hours from home and wouldn't arrive until after closing. We have two emergency contacts on file, but we decided the issue was not that serious. I am a teacher and have had to call many parents to talk about one issue or another. I always begin the conversation with, 'Johnny is fine'. It sounds like a small detail, but it's really a very big deal! We picked up Stella early this morning and she is perfectly fine. Zoey happened to be back on duty and we discussed the possibilities regarding her concern. Again, she took the time to speak to us with care. Thank you, Camp Bow Wow for once again caring for our sweet Stella! She's happily napping at home now, probably dreaming of playing with her CBW friends. We will be forever campers!

They do not take the dogs out to go to the restroom, they just urinate and poop on the floor. That disgusting fact and I cannot see to see a water bowl visible in their play rooms. I haven't seen it on their webcams or when I toured the facility. I'm extremely concerned about the cleanliness of the facility. The dogs do seem to have fun, though.

This was my first time ever boarding my dogs, and I only scheduled this stay because I had an unexpected family death. Naturally, I was already stressed, and this experience made things worse. When I dropped my dogs off, the front desk employee was working alone. While I understand being busy, the entire check-in process was very disorganized and frustrating. After taking my dogs to the back, she spent time inventorying my items, answering calls, and helping other customers--without once acknowledging me or letting me know I was free to go. I stood there for about 15-20 minutes with no communication, only to eventually be told she didn't need anything else from me. During my dogs' two-night stay, I received zero updates--no messages, photos, or report cards, despite those being features listed in their system. As a first-time boarding experience, this was especially concerning and left me wondering how my dogs were doing the entire time. Pickup was just as disappointing. While bringing my dogs out, one of them got her foot stuck in the doorway and was yelping in pain, and the employee continued pulling her on the leash instead of stopping to help. I was handed my dogs quickly with no update on how they did during their stay. The dogs also smelled so bad when we got them, I had to immediately bathe them when I got home. Overall, the lack of communication, attentiveness, and basic care was very upsetting--especially given the circumstances that led me to need their services in the first place. I had another boarding appointment already scheduled for April which I canceled and will not be returning or recommending this facility.

We arrived at 11am and got him checked in, they called when they were ready to start and we talked about doing just a "standard" doodle cut, keeping him cool for summer. We picked him up around 4pm and he was SO handsome! The matted fur in his ears was good, we could see his eyes, he smelled delicious and he looked like a new dog! The staff were super friendly and pricing was extremely competitive - absolutely will be back!
