We have a pack of three BIG dogs (our smallest is 70lbs). Today we had Gerardo from the Natural Pet come to groom all three for the first time. We were not optimistic, so we are BEYOND thrilled with the care and grooming that our dogs received!! Coats are cut perfectly and everyone is shiny and smells amazing!! We had a cat that was not real easy to get along with and we had tried to get other groomers to groom Muffy before but they just couldn't pick her up. She would weave in and out of the furniture and run all over the place. Geraldo came and he was awesome! He didn't have any problem picking her up and taking her to the mobile van outside. He was gentle and kind. He was experienced- you could tell. Muffy had some very bad matting on her back - he was able to trim her nails, give her a lion cut and a bath. She was not frightened when she returned to the house- but being a cat she gave us both a dirty look. lol! I was afraid she would hide under the bed till the next day but she didn't even go under the bed! What a shock! I could tell she was happy and more comfortable. This morning we had an appointment with The Natural Pet Mobile Grooming and our dog came back with both eyes hemorrhaged meaning the whites of our little Shitzu were blood red. The groomer tried to say that his eyes were like that when he started which was not true but would not tell me what happened. When I took him immediately after to our vet she said that it looks like trauma to the head and that the neck collar that mobile groomers use was obviously pulled too tight causing blood veins to break due to pressure in his eyes. I paid $75 for this grooming and my dog has been lethargic and not acting his normal bubbly self all day. I would NEVER recommend this groomer! By the way, the owner has not called me after I sent an email asking for an explanation early this morning which is not surprising. BEWARE! read more

What I was especially happy about - he wasn't the least bit traumatized by the experience like he has been with other grooming experiences. Sara was his groomer and she was very sweet to my pup, gave him little treats and lots of love. I was especially happy to support a small business ran by women. My only minor complaint, it would be nice if I could call and talk to them. I played phone tag quite a bit, and we communicated mainly through messages. We have been looking for a mobile groomer for a while now. I have a 16 year old smaller dog with epilepsy and bad hips. I didn't want her in a grooming crate stressed for hours at a store front groomer. We also have a large male Weimaraner (need I say more?). A lot of other mobile groomers were not thrilled with a larger dog and seemed a bit intimidated. So here I was, hiring a mobile groomer for one dog and taking the other dog to a store front groomer. We have only used them once but have another appointment set up. The experience was great from the beginning. The woman who I assume is the owner set up our appointment and was very helpful and professional when I had questions. The day of the appointment there was a 2 hour window and they got here right at the beginning of that which was nice. When the groomer (Lisa) got here she extremely professional and helpful. She showed me the van and it was pretty impressive with the bath and all the grooming equipment but it also didn't have any kennels which I love! My dogs were petrified, rightfully so. But when she brought them back their tails were wagging and they looked great! Grooming used to be traumatic for myself and the dogs when I had to leave them at the shop for 2 or 3 hours! I've never used a mobile groomer b/c my bulldog can be a total nightmare and I've never wanted to expose anybody else to trimming his nails etc. I am so happy I gave The Natural Pet a chance! they were great with him and did a fantastic job. Pet Owners Beware!! This grooming company is not what it is pictured to be! I have tried a few trying to find a kind, dependable groomer for my 9 year old Golden as she has had two knee surgeries along with aging arthritic hips. I would like to think that I am a reasonable customer and not in any manner difficult to work with. That being said I have used Jessica's company a few times and finally found a groomer who was skilled, dependable and kind to my old Golden. However after making a request for that particular groomer and having to change the date of the appointment I was told that they would be able to groom her but it would not be the groomer I requested and if this did not work that perhaps I needed to find another company. I have never been so insulted since I thought that the services were supposed to be around the customer not the owner! Jessica has been difficult to reach with at least two to three days between return calls and to speak to a paying customer in this manner is unacceptable. Natural Pet may be the most reasonable as far as charges but I would be willing to pay the extra $20 or so to be treated with respect and appreciation. I will miss the groomer herself as she truly was skilled and cared about the pets and owners. read more

If I could leave 10,000 zeros I would. For our dog to be groomed, we have to give her medication because of her anxiety. She is also 15 years old. After giving her the anti-anxiety medication which The Natural Pet knew we had to give her, they never showed up. They didn't call or return our phone calls. What kind of company does that. I only give 1 star because I can't give 0. I will preface by saying I am from the Midwest originally so I do expect kindness to a degree - not pure, cut-throat business. We had our dog groomed around 8x with this groomer (the first time he came back with cut marks up and down his belly that resembled serious razor burn; after requesting they be careful, we never had other issues) Here comes the poor customer service; Out of 10 appointments (over a 1 year span) we had to rescheduled 2. Once, we rescheduled 2 days in advance, and once it was 2 hours in advance (not the best business practice). When calling back to reschedule they informed my wife that they highly suggested we find a new groomer. I was shocked at the complete absence of care for your customer. We have also referred them to our friends (they're cheaper than most...for a reason) Aside from these 2 instances, they also quote a 3 hour time frame and often showed up an hour after their window without notice. Have used this groomer 2x. The first appointment was fine, my dogs hair was cut shorter than I requested but he still looked cute. The second appointment is what was disappointing. The day of my appointment 40 minutes had passed after my scheduled time before the groomer arrived. 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment I had called the office and left a voicemail. Ten minutes later the groomer arrived, putting her at 40 minutes late. No apology was made and when I told her that I had called the office she told me that the owner had picked up my VM and called her. Not sure why I never got a call from the owner in regards to the tardiness. Anyway, an hour later the groomer returned my dog and stated that the amount was now $10 more than I paid last time for the same service (4 weeks prior). I didn't want to waste my time in questioning why the price change because at this point I was done with this company. Unfortunately, I will not use this Natural pet again as I expect to be treated as a valued customer. The tardiness without an apology/explanation was unacceptable and the price increase without notifying me ahead of time was unnecessary. read more

Today was the first time we've used a mobile grooming experience. The ladies were so nice to Murphy (shih-tzu terrier mix) and this is the best looking trim he's ever had. They did a fantastic job trimming above his eyes and he loves what how they neatly trimmed his beard. His fur has never been so soft! My rescue cat Lovebug is such a princess that she does not, cannot or will not go to the neighborhood pet groomer to have her nails manicured (trimmed). We have to have the pet groomer come to her! This business has been trimming Lovebug's claws and taking care of her for the past year and a half (about every 2 months). When anyone comes to our door, she has to go hide under our bed. The groomer always gets her to come out, go into the carrier, out to the mobile van and comes back with trimmed claws, smelling and looking great! Thank you for your great service!! Great groomer. The grooming van arrived in the early part of the two hour window they gave me. Eduardo was very nice and friendly. My dog, who can be very fussy, took to him right away. The grooming, which took place in the van parked in my driveway, took a little less than an hour. My dog came out looking great! He had never been groomed before, so I was a bit worried he would freak out. But he was trimmed just like I wanted and his nails were done. My dog did not seem the worse for wear after what I thought would freak him out. Overall, I highly recommend this groomer. The cost was $75, which is a very competetive price for my small dog who was pretty hairy. There was also time for a nail trim for our other dog, something we had not scheduled, but which Eduardo was happy to do. I will use this company as long as my dogs need grooming. I have two elderly girls, both 11 1/2 yrs, a golden and a black lab, the golden with severe arthritis and at risk for a disc accident with a jump up or down. Due to the fact that we recently relocated to the area and that our Old English Sheepdog was in desperate need of a bath, I was super delighted when I spoke with Jessica and made an appointment for my dog to be groomed the following week. We were looking for mobile grooming services because we have used mobile grooming services in other states and been pleased because it means our dog is the only one being worked on and he doesn't have to spend time in a crate. Sarah came out on the day of our appointment and was within the 3 hour window that Jessica provided when I made the appointment. Sarah seemed friendly and interacted nicely with my dog. Up to this point, I was pleased. After about 1 1/2 hours, Sarah brought my dog to me, I was pleased with the way he looked. I was NOT pleased when she told me the cost was $150 as Jessica quoted me (at the time I made the appointment) 1/12-2 hours and $100 for grooming my dog. My dog is in full coat and we didn't want him trimmed, so we wanted him bathed along with his ears cleaned, nails trimmed and belly trimmed. At the time I made the appointment, Jessica assured me that all of these services were included in the time and dollar amount quoted. Since Sarah didn't have any previous interaction with me regarding price, I simply paid her the amount she stated (plus 20% tip) and called Jessica since she had quoted me the price. When Jessica finally called me back, she stated that she would never provided a strict price as she always quotes in ranges and offered me no explanation as to why the price jumped up by $50. She was rude and defensive. I wasn't going to argue with her as I took notes when I was originally on the phone with her and I would have written down a range if that is what she quoted. Since I had paid the $150 when the services were provided, I didn't expect a refund. I simply wanted an explanation as to why the price increased and possible some kind of concession for future services (maybe a small credit of $15). I have no issue with paying for services but I have a huge issue with being charged more than quoted and no reason for the increase being given or no effort to provide customer service. Again, their services are ok but their customer service is lacking. i will NOT be using them again. read more

We have a 13 year old Belgian Sheepdog that needs groomed often. We held off after last year when we took Shona to a large grooming place. They had her 7 hours and she had to be carried out (she weighs 75 pounds) as she could no longer stand. When she got home she kept drinking and didn't leave the food/water and it took her 3 days before she had any energy back. This year we went mobile. I found The Natural Pet by a google search and was going down the list -they were one of the only ones I found that would do such a large dog and they specialized in senior pets. They did move our appointment and let me know that they would only do what Shona could take. They had us come out and check on her while shaving her. She was fine! Laying down while getting shaved and having two people focus on her put us all at ease. Jessica was with Shona for about 2 1/2 hours. When she came back in she was herself. They had also give her a mint massage to help her joints- this became very apparent in the coming days. Shona is moving easier and even jumped on the bed- something she hasn't done in years! We were $150- within the range Jessica had given me on the phone and worth every penny! Highly recommend. read more
