AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! I brought my dog here and they did a wonderful job the first time, so I decided to bring him back. Biggest mistake I could've made. Apparently, he got back into some kennels that he wasn't supposed to get into, stepped in dog poop and they gave him to me without realizing it. He ends up, jumping all inside of my car and gets dog poop all over my car seats. So I obviously had to spend money out of my pocket to get my seats cleaned. I went back in and let them know, and they wiped his paws and advised me about him getting into the kennels. Now, a few days later, my dog has kennel, cough!!Mind you, he is never around any other dogs, and is kept in a secured yard. So you can only imagine he got it from one place and one place only, this pet parlor! So after bringing him to get groomed, I am now out over $300. $200 for the vet for kennel cough and $120 to get my vehicle deep cleaned :) read more

I have a German shepherd husky mixed. I asked before taking him back in October of 2024 that she not shave his coat. I just needed him shedded. Assuming a dog groomer would know shaving a dog of that breed can damage the coat. Yet, she still did it without calling me for approval. My dogs new coat is growing in now and it's extremely uneven and does not look right. I now have to take him to a vet to ensure she didn't damage more than just the coat. They did this to my dog. Do not come here. They did not call me when it happened and waited until the end of the appointment to let us know they sliced her open. The owner sent us to a vet where she had to get 15 stitches and we also found additional bruising under her neck showing that she struggled and they didn't stop. Don't bring your dog here if you want them to live. My dog is still traumatized and we can no longer take her to a groomer. She had a cone on for two weeks and had to be on antibiotics and pain medication. It's just not worth it. They also never contacted us to check on her. read more

We took our 2 dogs here a few times years ago. The cut was always uneven, and one of our dogs came back with rashes & scratches on her belly the last time. Recently decided to give them another try, but the person working didn't even say a word to me when I walked in. I was there for a few minutes without even a greeting, and. we finally just left because one of our dogs who is friendly with everyone kept pulling toward the front door to escape the building. This dog doesn't even do that at the vet when she has to have her shots or when dogs might me trying to attack her. Highly unlikely we'll bring our dogs back. I'm sure others have had better experience here. Side note: the reason we kept bringing them back years ago was not due to quality of work. It was because everyone that worked there were genuinely friendly, and the dogs were okay going there. That time that our dog came back with scratches, even though we looked elsewhere I did not do a negative review because at least everyone was still friendly. The reason for the review this time is because I didn't realize how traumatized our dogs really were as well as the lack of communication (or perhaps negative communication) while there. read more

I have to write this review after not using Annie's for over 2 years. We moved to the east coast but while living less than a mile from Annie's Pet Parlor I had gone to many many groomers before finally driving past and thinking I should give this neighborhood place a try. We have 4 dogs and one is a Collie who gets a very thick under coat that needs help and I'm telling you...there is NO GROOMER in the world that even comes close to the job they did for him. It's incredible. They have basically set us up for disappointment everywhere we go since leaving Phoenix. The prices are extremely fair and they are just seriously missed. I took my dog here because I saw that they had good reviews. I have a Pomeranian who has really long hair that I don't like to get cut down . when I came in I specifically said to only do a hygiene trim on her bottom and maybe trim around her ears a little bit. I made sure to communicate that to the guy multiple times because i didn't want there to be an mis communication and them trim her hair short . when I came to pick up my dog A woman came to the front and let me know very casually that my dog has a bald spot on her body. I thought she was joking because I made it so clear when I walked into not trim her body at all Pomeranians hair once cut short does NOT grow back . she said that she was trying to cut her undercoat but I had specifically asked him not to trim her body at all !! . I am beyond mortified that this happened . i have been growing my dogs hair for three years and now my dog will have this bald spot forever unless i decide to trim the rest of her hair . i was charged full price even though my dog looks horrible and really didn't even get an apology they actually told me it will be fine and she has plenty of other hair .. i am baffled by the service i received here . read more

I've taken my older pup here twice to get her nails done and will not be going back. I have never heard my girl yelp as badly as she did during her visit and after the visit she had a slight limp. I was finally able to look at the reason for her limping a full day later because she wouldn't let me touch her legs/paws and discovered that her paw and pad were cut. Other reviews say how wonderful and friendly the owner and staff are which is what prompted me to take my pup here. One staff member, I believe the "groomer", didn't greet me and made me think she was annoyed that she was being bothered. The owner did show concern when she heard the yelping but I believe she tried making a joke/excuse. read more

Sorry Annie but I'm docking stars. While the grooming continues to be well done the new cash only policy is frustrating. The last time I came to pick up Daisy they told me the debit machine was down. I had no cash and asked if I could pay them next time, they said no and that I could come by anytime before 5 to drop it off. It was an incredible inconvenience and considering it was their fault I couldn't pay they should have let me pay the next time I came in. As previously mentioned I have been bringing Daisy here every week for over a year. It has been about a month now and the debit machine is still "down". They have lost my business and I will find another place to take the dogs. If they show me no love why should I continue to give them my money! read more

I might have to revise this review some time in the future, but we are extremely pleased after our first visit to Annie's. Teddy Wagadoodle, yes I'm afraid that's actually his name, looks great. A nine month old Labradoodle, he was transformed and was in no way traumatized by the experience. Annie's was very kind and positive. They also offered us a couple of gentle suggestions for future grooming, but did no selling and applied no pressure for future appointments, an approach I greatly appreciated. This was a stark contrast to PetSmart, our previous groomer. Only a couple of reservations. The grooming area is not visible from the drop off/ waiting room. A more open concept would be reassuring. The grooming was projected to take four hours and actually took over five. Not a concern. It was a busy Saturday and Teddy was one big mess of a puppy on this particular day. An unexpected issue caused the grooming to come in $6 above the initial estimate. Not a concern. He was a mess. The time and cost issues would only be a worry if they became a pattern, which I would not expect to happen. Be ready for cash only payment as well. Most importantly, the pup came home happy, wearing a cute bandana and chocked full of doggie treats. Given that, not being able to use a credit card is no big deal, is it? We also dropped him off with a British lead, the type of rope choke leash that most dog rescues use. Thought it would be easy for them and Teddy doesn't choke himself, but they improvised its use to be non choking. I think that says a lot about their concern for animals. I did ask what day would be best for future appointments. The answer? Any day but Saturday. That said, we did get in this Saturday with a one day notice. Next time, however, I think I'll give Annie's a break and come in on a Tuesday. read more

I just rescued a little Shih Tzu. She doesn't need grooming yet but she needed some hair clipped around her eyes and face. I brought her in to Annie and she cleaned up her face, ears and pads really good. She also gave me some high quality shampoos because my dogs hair is thinning. She also gave me a few vials of saline for my dogs red eye. This was my first visit and we will be back! Annie is wonderful! read more

Oh my goodness! I couldn't be happier with my experience at Annie's Pet Parlor. My Maltipoo is not at all friendly with strangers. He bites! After our last grooming experience at a different dog salon I wondered if I would ever be able to take him to be groomed again. A friend of mine recommended Annie's Pet Parlor so I decided to give them a try, with fear and trembling. The ladies at Annie's were so kind and gentle with my naughty little puppy, and were able to groom him exactly how I had requested in a very reasonable amount of time, including nails, ears, and booty. The first time I brought in my newly inherited older pups, Annie's Pet Parlor took excellent care of me. I was able to drop them off and pick them up when they were ready. I started going to Annie's in 2020 when the pandemic began. I appreciated that they would come out my car to get my dogs, cut their nails and then bring them back out to me so that I could stay safely in my car with my kids without risking Covid exposure. Also, Annie's is much more affordable than pets-mart. We moved 12 miles away and continued to be customers, driving 30 mins to have our dogs nails cut by Annie's. That is until I finally decided to go inside to wait.... Each time I have gone inside, I can hear my dogs crying, howling, and yelping in pain. The staff members comment that my dogs are "just very sensitive or very vocal". This last visit was just too much to bear. I could hear both of my dogs screaming all the way outside, in my car with the windows up! And when they brought one of my dogs out, his quick was bleeding and hanging out of the hole in his nail. I will not be going back. I bought myself a nail grinder and learned how to cut them myself. My dogs NEVER cry or howl when I do their nails. If you love your pets, I would not bring them here. Annie's prices reflect the poor service that they provide. The pain they put these animals through is absolutely heartbreaking and it doesn't seem like they even care. read more
