DO NOT bring your dog here!! We brought our little doodle here many of times prior to the last visit and had a great experience with Crystal. Crystal is no longer there and they replaced her with some moron! Not only did she butcher my dogs haircut-I picked my dog up and she was bleeding so much...finally discovered it was coming from her foot! The new girl cut a huge chunk out of my poor dogs paw pad and we couldn't get it to stop bleeding!! She did everything but apologize, even blaming me, walking her to the car Saying she could've stepped on some thing, but it was obvious what had happened. I understand mistakes happened, but this was ridiculous and no accountability for what happened. I gave the store a lot of money over the past year and to be subjected to this is not OK! Avoid at all costs!!! read more

Sadly, we will not be coming back. I understand accidents happen but this was a huge mistake. When I came in to pick up my dog, the groomer did not mention she had injured my pet. Before I left the store I saw the wound and she acted surprised. However, there is no way she was not aware of what she did. My poor pup is now en route to the vet to possibly get stitches/surgery. My dog had other nicks in addition to this one. I support local businesses but in light of the other reviewer who posted something similar, I had to post so that the business will take this seriously. I took my dog here because I had a last minute cancellation from my current groomer because of a family emergency. I will never bring him back. I was charged an additional $20 and had to listen to her tell me he had bad behavior and is a really bad dog. I was in shock! He's been to two groomers in his 4 years of life, plus one in MN and I've heard nothing but good things about my dog. One mentioned he didn't like getting his nails trimmed but that was normal. I was so upset when I left Chews 4 Paws, I contacted the groomer he has been going to for the last 2 years. She said that she has never had a problem with my dog and that he's skiddish but very well behaved and a very sweet dog. I told her about the experience I had with Chews 4 Paws and she said it sounds like it was more of a groomer problem than a dog problem. Some people shouldn't be working with dogs. Dogs sense good people and human energy. If my dog misbehaved it's because he didn't get treated well. I also noticed when I went to pick up my dog there were two of them trying to hold another dog down while they worked on him. The poor dog looked scared and miserable. I felt so bad for him. My dog was crying in the cage like he couldn't wait to get away from there. I've not seen him be so full of anxiety when picking him up from his normal groomer, or anywhere else for that matter. I think my groomer is right, it wasn't my dog that had bad behavior, it was Chews 4 Paws that had the bad behavior. I wonder how many others they have charged extra for "bad behavior"? When I told my normal groomer that Chews for Paws charged an additional $20 for bad behavior, she laughed and thought it was ridiculous. If you're a professional and know what you're doing, you don't need to charge extra. What a scam!!!! read more

This is my second time getting the Groupon here and I absolutely love the staff and the area! They treat Jackson with so much care and concern and love! He always looks great. Normally, I have to pay around $70 for a full groom. Here, I can get a much better deal via Groupon and I try to tip as much as I can because they're just fantastic. read more

I was so excited when I learned that this dog grooming salon works with Groupon! I took a chance as I haven't been liking Petsmart grooming very much in the past. Needless to say, mini Aussie; Dewey will be back next month for his routine trim, no shave. I'll be bringing my Frenchie in as well for baths and nail trims. Thank you Amy for getting us all scheduled and on the books and please give a big thank you to you and/or the bather and other groomers who worked on him. This place is the place to bring your dog for a spa day. The girls were so welcoming to my pups. I believe Amy and Crystal were the groomers. I've never had such a positive experience bringing my fur babies to a salon before. First they greeted my dogs like they were movie stars. I got all the information about what was going to be done. Exactly what I was looking for and the price which was very reasonable. I feel I got a great deal. I also got to purchase some awesome snacks from the large selection of chews for my dogs when they get home.
