I absolutely LOVE Preppy Pet! The owners Yolanda and Tony are there every day and are passionate…read moreabout what they do; they truly care for your pets well being. I have been brining my dog and cat (cat off and on when I go out of town) for over two years now. I can recall a time when my dog who is currently 11 was having tummy issues, turns out he has pancreatitis. Had an accident while at day care (he goes daily while I work) he had rice earlier that morning which made it look like worms. Tony called every number listed trying to get ahold of me and even called my mother who is also a client to track me down. He was so worried about my little guy he was getting ready to take him to the vet. Luckily I told Tony it was just rice so to keep an eye on him they had my little guy stay up front with them (with my permission of course). This morning was cold, rare for Florida causing my little guys arthritis to bother him, so they carried him back and kept a watchful eye on him and said if he was having problems, they would put him in a separate area so it didn't get aggravated further. Luckily, he was fine and played with all his friends. Every morning my dog gets so excited to go today care he does a "Happy Howl" as soon as we pull into the parking lot. When he sees Tony and Yolanda getting out of their car, he does another "Happy Howl" he absolutely loves them and going to Preppy Pet. I cannot recommend them enough. If I could give them 10 Stars I would! :)

The extra package we purchased was well worth the cost. Our puppies ashes were in a silk bag, inside of a beautiful wooden box with her name plate. The box was inside a suede bag all presented in Pet Angel bag that was beautiful too. The card and coping with losing a dog documents from Pet Angel were wonderful but the custom written card from the ladies and veterinarian with our doggies paw print was absolutely amazing. Thank you all for helping us through this very hard process, we will be in with our baby boy for his next check up.

Reading some of these reviews are a relief because I sensed something else. I believe this clinic caters to dying animals and/or white owners. If you don't fit that demographic, fuhgetaboutit! My four year old cat is admittedly nervous at the vet. I took her out of her carrier and she explored the exam room for a few minutes. When Dr. Fontenot came in, I learned that the clinic doesn't allow owners to handle or soothe their pet during the exam. Big mistake! They got as far as putting her on the exam table. In the hands of two strangers, she was terrified. 20 seconds and one cat hiss later, I was told they couldn't examine a cat that would "attack" them. I was stunned. But I also don't believe in being anywhere my presence or dollars aren't appreciated, so I left quickly. I've been a cat owner for over two decades (my first cat lived to 17, my current one is four and I fostered in between) and today was the first time my pet and I were labeled and rejected. Dr. Fontenot also rudely suggested that I "return to my previous clinic" which I would certainly do if I were still in that area. I look forward to discovering a clinic in my new locale that's more empathetic to the pet's experience and familiar with the variety of methods to help alleviate anxiety, like allowing the familiar and trusted owner to be more involved with the exam process. It's a partnership! This makes me appreciate my many prior positive experiences with our former clinics even more. S/O to Stevens Animal Hospital in Pompano and Riverview Veterinary Hospital in Atlanta. I know our next great clinic is out there. ‍

She also has Old Dog Vestibular Disease, and they watched her the whole time because she gets off balance. I'm so grateful to them! They really care, and it shows. GiGi came back looking and smelling beautiful! I highly recommend Paw Spa! And they don't have crates! It's really cute the way they have the room set up. GiGi even cuddled they said with another dog they had there. Very cool!

THIS IS AN UPDATE: As far as THE PAW SPA PET GROOMING, my…read morereview is still the same. After being to the vet and taking the medications, I'm glad to inform that KHLOE IS BACK TO HER OLD SWEET SELF. Meaning: she wasn't sick when she went to get groomed. She got sick 1-2 days after that so bad that we thought we were going to loose her (she's 16). ANOTHER MISTAKE was done and eventhough I tried to get the info from the vet (that I'm not going to mention here, but Khloe will no longer be their patient)... Before grooming, the employee asked me about her shots, which I did not have the info on hand... In front of me, she called (?) the vet who apparently gave her the okay to go ahead with the grooming. Detail: her BORDATELLA had expired on 10/25/25.Which I didn't know and I believe it's required for dogs who socialize with others. She should had denied service right there. At this point, I don't know who's "not telling the thruth". Khloe wasn't seen by her usual vet, but another one who's not listed on their website. When I enquired the vet, they "go around and around" without a "direct response" eventhough "all calls are recorded". I can only get to one conclusion: they're protecting each other. Be careful with who your trust "your babies" with... principally when they're old. We're their voices and it has been proved to me that not always these businesses have their best interest on mind, but that the $$$$ is way more important. Thanks to YELP who allow us to write here a review that can not be purchased and/or changed by the business owner. ps.1 - Yes... She had knots this time as many other times in the past. Groomers should know how to deal with that. Khloe was going there since 2022 and never had a problem with Ashley. ps. 2 - Owner said that it was going to send me a record of the conversation which I never got and now I probably have been blocked from her phone. Which, BTW it's okay with me because I really don't want to deal with either businesses anymore.
