Dog Spot Hotel - Happy Dog after Dog Spot hotel stay! - Pet Sitting Near Me - Melbourne, Florida

Been using Dog Spot Hotel for several years, and they have always done an awesome job with my German Sherpherd, who can sometimes be a bit stubborn and cantankerous. They treat him great, do a great job with baths and getting his claws clipped. I can tell the staff really love and care for him. I am very appreciative of them! read more

We were recommended the grooming service here as we have just moved into the area. Took both our Wheaton Terriers for a grooming and they looked great, very happy with the job but then it hit us. BOTH seemed to act strange that night and the following day by not eating or drinking and sitting in the corner behind chairs. Almost traumatized they continue to act afraid all the time. We called but got answer machine and nobody called us back. After seeing previous reviews of dogs getting sick etc we are heading to our trusted vet. read more

*Update Jan 2026* I still love Dog Spot Hotel! My pitty is still hanging in there but my Dane went to the rainbow bridge several years back. We have a Doberman now and he's a handful. Thank heavens Dog Spot knows how to work with him and keep him on the up and up. Recently used them for an 8 night stay and my goodness they came back so happy and depleted of energy, they had a great visit! While gone, I had a nightmare about them...and because my anxiety got the better of me, I called and the staff was so friendly and kind. They were able to tell me that my pitty was sleeping soundly under her blanket and that my Doberman was out playing and living his best life. Put my mind at ease and made my heart smile. I do trust Dog Spot Hotel with my pups and will continue to always highly recommend them! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!! My two pups 100% love it here! They are always worn out and while excited to leave, don't want to leave. When we roll up to the front gates, my Dane starts to whine like mad cause he knows he gets to play with all his friends, and while that makes me happy, I've got a pitty mix and unfortunately there are so many kennels around here that won't take her because of that, but Dog Spot adores her! And that makes me the happiest dog mama ever cause I know she's in a friendly place! Every time I pay for a bath and nail trim, and they are so shiny and trimmed up after every stay. 100% recommend Dog Spot!! They're kennels are cleaned daily, lots of huge outdoor spacing to play. Group play, individual play, pools and fake grass (which is awesome for my girl who is allergic to grass) and boy oh boy to they play. It must be non stop because these two sleep for several days after a good stay read more

staff are friendly, and our dog seems eager to enter the facility to meet the other dogs. we really like the interaction she gets with other dogs, as she doesn't normally have other dogs to play with. Our minds are at ease when we need to leave her there. I would definitely recommend Dog Spot Hotel to others. read more

We have to go out of town periodically and need a safe and dependable place to board Lilo, our Australian Shepherd. We liked the great reviews that we read on the Dog Spot Hotel in Melbourne, Florida and boarded her there for the first time this past weekend. Their facility has a drop off point in front of the building and there were people out there to register pets and then take them into the facility, which is very efficient. Lilo had a great time playing with the other dogs and enjoyed the extra treats and walks that we ordered for her. We are very happy with the great service that they provided and will definitely board Lilo there again. We're also interested in bringing her there one day a week for daycare. read more

I've been coming here for close to 12 years for boarding and daycare. When my last boxer passed I eventually welcomed a new boxer puppy. I trust these guys with my most valued thing--my little girl--and she LOVES Dog Spot. I've had to use other facilities on a few occasions over the years, they were okay, but nothing like Dog Spot. This is our home away from home (we call it "going to school") and Nica just loves it. Sebastian and all the girls (and classmates) get an A++ from our family! read more

Awesome doggy day care with large outside play area, friendly and dog loving staff. Military discount.

We love the personable staff as well as the efficient check-in and check-out process. The early hours for drop off and Sunday afternoon pickup work well with our travel plans and work schedules. And my dog is always calm, happy and clean from her exit bath when we pick her up. Love Dog Spot-Melbourne! read more

I have used Dog Spot for the last 6 years and have always been very pleased! However, on this last visit my dog was ice cold when I picked him up and he had on a sweater!! I realize it was very cold outside , but when I brought him home he had severe diarrhea for 2 days And just wasn't himself. read more

Louie loves going to the Dog Spot Hotel. He gets excited as soon as we turn towards Industry Drive. I believe he is treated as if he is their own fur baby. So I can relax while we're away knowing he's being well cared for. read more

We have used Dog Spot since it first opened years ago and have always had great experiences. However, the last time we left them for a week while we were on a cruise we were Very disappointed and are debating whether to use them again. We had sent a brand new bottle of doggie peanut butter flavored bubbles. When we picked the dogs up I asked the girl if they'd had time to do the bubbles with the dogs. She smiled and said " they loved it". When we got home the factory seal was still on the bottle. So, if you aren't truthful about one thing, how can I trust that you'll be truthful on my dogs care? Then when we got home our male Boston wasn't acting right. I called them and asked if he'd been ill acting. They said no. By the next day we had him at the emergency vet where he was diagnosed with kennel cough and put on meds. He was fullly vaccinated. read more

The staff is not what I expected to be at such a high rating place. I used to work at a boarding / daycare for pets and this place did not match it. Super unorganized, treated new guest like if we knew how things work and did not even give a tour of the place. Gave me attitude when I did pick up earlier than the time it should be. Also did not return all my items when picking up. Never using them again. read more

I began boarding my elderly cat here 5 yrs ago during my vacations of 1-2 weeks. I could not be happier with this facility. They have cared for my special needs cat who requires medication competently and with care and empathy every single time at a very reasonable price, even going so far as to call me to request permission to bring him to the vet for a swollen eye which turned out to be an infection which they then cared for promptly and competently. I recommend this facility and staff highly and recognize their caring and going above and beyond attitude! Thanks Dog Spot read more

I've been taking my dogs here for years. I will never, ever set foot in this establishment again. When calling, the staff provides wrong information. When dropping off and picking up, the staff is exceptionally rude. read more

They're nice every single time I go. I feel like my pet gets attention and consideration. The only thing I don't like is that I can't see the facility. I have no idea what goes on behind those doors. But the lobby looks lovely and the people are very attentive and fast and professional and courteous.! read more

Place is clean and friendly. Great place to take care of your pets. It's decently priced. I wish they had more availability for boarding. They get booked out fast to the point where they will put you on a waiting list. Good for them of course. But for the holidays expect to call ahead at least two months in advance. read more

My dog seemed very comfortable staying there for 3 nights. He was well cared for. Nice people .

Amazing place and amazing staff. Our dog LOVES it there. Our corgi will literally jump out of the window and into the awaiting arms of a staff member. Everyone is friendly and care for the dogs. Thank you for taking care of our baby boy Flynn! read more

DogSpot doggie hotel is PHENOMENAL if you are ever looking to board your dog. Blake (our dog) got stung by a bee prior to us dropping him off, he seemed fine but then had an allergic reaction in his paw while there. They gave ZERO up-charge for all the extra care they had to give him over the weekend: - Taking him to the emergency vet - 4 hours after-hours emergency room care (2 people) - Stay at someone's personal home - Administering a bunch of prescriptions - Festering Wound care The whole time Anna kept us in the loop since we couldn't get back to pick him up due to the travel distance. On top off all this, they carried him out to the van although he can walk. I DogSpot. read more

I've been bringing my 2 yr old Weimaraner there for over a year and also used with my prior dog before he passed. I love how the staff seem to genuinely care for the dogs and knows their personalities and quirks! Most importantly, they have an understanding of dog behavior and appear very quick to judge a dog's changing mood. They will call you if there is a problem. A negative is weekend care- just not available. Sometimes it's what you need. Would also like indoor/covered play BUT this should be changing when the new building opens!! It may be lacking some fancy stuff- been to one that had all the bells and whistles but dog was not handled properly- but it's the staff that interacts with your dog that's important. read more

We've brought our pup to this facilities a few times now. The staff are kind and great with animals and the dogs all seem to have fun! My pup always comes back exhausted from playing with the other dogs, she absolutely loves it. However, I'm not sure the staff are that careful with the animals. For one, they don't even know how to spell my dog's name or that she is a girl, not a boy. They write short reviews of the animal's stay for when they are picked up. However, the most recent review raved about how excited they were to see our little boy again soon... Also, this most recent stay our pup came home covered in scratches and with an eye infection. I understand that dogs play rough with each other and that she was close with a lot of other dogs and things can spread easily, I just wanted people to know that this is a possibility. The cost is also not too terrible. We have a large dog so it's $35 for a night. However, do be warned, their weekend prices are a little wacky. The only time you can pick up on a Sunday is from 4-6 PM, however you get charged an extra $20 for them taking care of your dog during the day. This last stay we dropped our dog off at 8AM on Saturday and picked her up during the only time we could on Sunday and it was $55 dollars rather than $35. I understand paying more for them taking more care of her, but I would have picked her up in the morning if the facility was open! It's just a little frustrating. I think you should either not charge extra, or have pick up hours be in the morning so people can not pay the extra money if they don't want to. All things considered, it was a very meh experience. read more

I am an RVer. I used this business for daycare and plan to use for boarding my two yorkies. They handled my dogs with care on delivery and pickup. Absolutely LOVE this place!! We left our 8 month old frenchie here so we could go on a family trip--we were pretty nervous about leaving him for so long. Not only did we end up having to extend our trip by a week, but any time we called they told us about all the cute and funny things he had been doing which helped us feel reassured. We even had some friends drop off more dog food for him and they told us how happy our pup seemed. He's been so sweet and obedient since picking him up--we just missed him so much!! Thank you Dog Spot Hotel!! We will definitely be back! read more

A great place for your furry family member. This business is located off wickham road just south of Pineda causeway. It is about ¾ mile to the east of wickham in a business park. The building has a drive up area for drop off and about 15 parking spaces. The staff is wonderful. We have used them for overnight stays for previous pets and are using them sparingly for our current furry family member. We have been dropping him off for a few hours during the day. The staff has been great about making him feel welcome and putting him in small and large groups to help him learn his social skills. Currently, to meet COVID requirements, the staff meets you outside the lobby in the drive through area and does the drop-off/pick-up there instead of inside. The inside is always clean and they are friendly toward all the pets. I highly recommend this place if you want to let your dog have a break from you. read more

I had super high hopes for this place as I have seen so many great reviews. the convenience of this place is great! the setup was a sell. however I just brought my dog home today after he stayed 2 nights. All I can say is that he is not acting like himself and seems uncomfortable. This also isn't the first time he's been away from me so I know when something is up. He was extremely thirsty, way more than usual and he was completely covered in old dried pee. I know grooming was an extra charge but if I saw someone's dog was covered in pee I would at least wipe them down, especially if the smell was strong. read more

Our family has been using them for at least 20 something years!! Our westie went there then our other dog MYles and now our big guy Brody. So obviously we're happy!!
