The tables are kind of rustic and the decor is French and American but not in the sticky pastel sort of way. It was nice that there were no gimmicks... they didn't need them. We ordered a small mocha, latte, 2 pain au chocolates, and a ham&cheese croissant. The coffee is brewed perfectly and it's incredibly fresh. It left a clean mouth feel that was a dramatic departure from big box coffee. The food is made in-house. The bread is crisp and flakey on the outside and chewy inside. The flavors were very pronounced. It was amazing! The only holdbacks were that some in our group didn't try food and so could not give a full 5 stars. I later learned it was because they forgot our order. The food was actually pretty good but the experience wasn't worth wanting to go back. I appreciate that they tried to right the wrong in the end though. No one should wait an hour for fast food especially with zero explanation and watching others that came in after up get food before you.
