walking into this store is like a kid going to a candy store. They will ask you if you want to buy 1/2 dozen because it is discounted compared to buying just 1 donut. Then you walk around having hard time deciding which 6 to buy and then you might want to buy like 12. It is so easy to do that and then you hold up the line of people behind you! Don't ask how much sugar is in the donut, because all that matters is that it taste good no matter what flavor. They have really unique flavor and styles so I suggest you get a few more than you thought and just cut it up and share and spread the wealth. Be sure to top it off with some coffee. We were arriving in St. George and looking for a sweet treat and a mocha. We stumbled across this bright Pepto Bismol pink colored place called Pinkbox. The place is fun. Giant pink donut outside, donut door handle, donut mascot inside, funny sayings on the wall. The staff was nice, welcoming, and mentioned a deal on 12 donuts. They had a variety of drinks to choose from and I had the hot chocolate. It was good but no better than any of the competitors that I have tried and I think it was an extra $.50 for whip cream. The star of the show is the plethora of donut choices. Donuts, cronuts, donut holes, bards, etc. Some of the funniest named donuts I have seen. Some of the most intricately designed donuts that I have seen. The reindeer pooh, holiday pinky, and Christmas tree for example. I ended up trying the chocolate doughcro. It was good, not great. It was chocolatey and sweet, but it did not have the cronut flakiness that I expect from having tried several at competitors donut shops. Pinkbox in Saint George delivered exactly what it is known for, donuts that are over the top and seriously tasty. The shop is bright and playful, and the service was quick and friendly which made grabbing a few donuts easy. The only drawback is that the prices keep climbing, and it makes it harder to justify stopping in as often as we used to. This was an okay experience. I swung through the drive through and ordered two doughnuts. The total for just two doughnuts (one fritter, one fancy doughnut) was close to $10. I wasn't mad about that price, but it did set an expectation for these doughnuts to be stellar, and, unfortunately, they just fell flat. The team member working the drive through seemed rushed and disengaged and the doughnuts were just meh and pretty greasy. Great that they offer vegan options (two donuts at my location) but the server wouldn't even tell me what the regular ones are fried in. Turns out they use lard so they aren't even vegetarian/kosher/halal either. The two I tried were pretty good but they need to switch to vegetable oil! read more

It seems like a classic donut shop, nothing else super special. In general I don't judge a donut by its cover, cause in my experience the tastier it looks the less good it actually tastes, but Pink Box is the exception to my theory. The donuts from here taste as good as they look and honestly now that I've said that, that should be their motto. Amazing experience and service at Pinkbox Doughnuts. After stopping by another donut shop that couldn't fulfill my order we drove to this spot. First of all walking into Pinkbox is an experience in itself because of the incredible selection and artistry of the donuts. I wish I was able to spend more time in the shop admiring the creativity of these donuts. If I recall correctly the person that helped me at Pinkbox was named Julia. I let her know I was in a hurry and I asked if she would please choose two dozen of the most popular donuts for my child's birthday. She got the order ready in minutes and was so patient with my need to hurry her--in fact it didn't even phase her. We delivered the fun selection of donuts to the kids and staff, who all stated they were fun, fresh and delicious. Walking in, there's a huge selection of donuts to choose from and was overwhelming (in a good way). Initially, I was planning to just get one or two donuts, but there were so many good options that we decided to get six instead. Regular donuts: The holy cannoli donut was my favourite. It had the best aspects of a donut and cannoli filling. The original glazed also was great - perfect for something lighter than the usual donut. 2024 holiday donuts: Looked really cute and a special edition. I had a bit too much icing, and I found it too sweet for me personally. I would stick with the other regular donuts instead. We actually stopped here both directions during Christmas travel, and box 2 had some of my faves- an apple pie donut, and one with raspberry filling! You know those places you hear about, and you've been meaning to visit, but you're almost afraid of trying it because you don't want to be disappointed? This was Pink Box Donuts for me. I was worried it would be like a commodity and not live up to the hype. I am happy to say, they did NOT disappoint. We went on eclipse day 2023, and literally stood in the parking lot with our donuts as we looked at the moon shadows. The employees were really helpful and patient. The display cases were FULL. I'm used to northern Utah donut shops running out of donuts, but this place is always open, so maybe they don't run out! We got six donuts. 1. Feelin Toasty (toasted coconut) that was actually still really good the next day (my bad, I just couldn't eat all the ones we had picked in one day). 2. Old fashioned was very good. 3. Crumb Bun - so so good! 4. Java Mama - the toppings were so creamy and light. So good. 5. Plain Face Dough Cro - good, but not our favorite. 6. Porky - I sadly don't think I got to taste this one, but my husband liked that it was real bacon. I am not typically a "gourmet donut" lover. I generally appreciate simpler donuts. But these are absolutely worth the spend, and the Java Mama (what I would consider to be a gourmet donut) ended up being my favorite one. Next time we are in town, I will make sure we stop by. The restaurant is really cute, really pink, and very donut decorated!! You must visit. It's like stepping into a little donut universe. They also have a good selection of coffee drinks. This is a very cute donut shop in Southern Utah. We love to try different donuts so this was a good place for us to stop by. There was a variety of specialty donuts. It cost around $30 for a dozen mix. We haven't tried all the donuts yet as they are very filling! Specifically, what I like best is that they can be sweet, but aren't too overbearingly sweet. The box is also pretty heavy for a dozen so hold it with two hands. The workers were friendly and patient as we asked about the donuts. Pinkbox Doughnuts, as a business, is nothing short of amazing and Brilliant! The selection is incredible and the unique and delicious offerings are pure genius! I am sorry for two things: That I only discovered them a year ago, and that I have to drive from Grand Junction, Colorado to indulge! :-( My receipt says that Jonathan was my "server", but it was a pleasant young lady who boxed up my half dozen. I asked her if they had a plastic knife I could use to cut some of them in half or quarters. Sadly, were they to have such utensils, they would be a restaurant, despite no tables or chairs, instead of a bakery! At least they have colorful napkins. I almost hated to soil them with whipped cream from my mustache! But I reasoned: "A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do!" If I had anything negative, it would be this: With the premium prices, I was surprised to see them asking for a tip.
