We found this place completely by accident while driving from Gunlock Falls and exploring the area. Whoever says getting lost is a bad thing has clearly never found pie like this. We've tried five different pies so far, and every one of them has been outstanding. The chocolate cream pie is the BEST I've ever had. The lemon pie is fantastic, and the strawberry rhubarb pie is so good it should probably come with a warning label. I drove past thing place on our way to enterprise and their sign caught our eye! It was a cute small shop inside and that a huge variety of flavors! I got the classic apple pie and it was amazing! The crust on top is just perfect. Not too sweet either. The bottom crust was melted in unfortunately but I'm sure that's with every pie. Wish I grabbed their other flavors ! Heard about this pie shop from an acquaintance as I mentioned driving out to St. George. Just a short drive north, it was well worth it. I ordered online the night before. I came prepared with a cooler and ice packs. We got the blackberry, caramel apple, a couple frozen chicken pot pies, and triple chocolate. They were all amazing! My fave was definitely the triple chocolate. The pie crust and the crumble on the caramel apple were on point. The service was quick and friendly. I really wanted to like this place. Huge line when they are about to open. Got an apple pie and chicken pot pie. Pie was okay. Nothing spectacular. Chicken pot pie was so dry on the inside. Got terribly sick after having the chicken pot pie as I ate both on different days. I thought it was something else I ate. My mom then ate her pot pie and was sick in the bathroom all night. My whole family has been coming to Veyo Pies for years and we stopped in the other day for a coconut cream, and mountain berry pie (our favorites) normally we never have any issues but we sliced up the coconut cream and inside was a FAKE EYELASH....... I have been here many many times and they never disappoint. I have only tried their sweet pies, but I understand that they have savory pies as well. One time I did buy some homemade salsa from there and it was really good. This is a very small bakery, that usually has a line out the door. I believe you can order ahead of time which I would recommend because they run out of certain flavors. I've had the peach pie, which is so fresh. I've also had the peach blueberry pie, which is phenomenal. The Veyo pie is decadent and rich. There's no place to sit. It's kind of a walk up order and take home kind of deal. This place is conveniently located right on the side of the road and is how I noticed them the first time I drove by. I decided then, that at some point on this trip we would be back. Turns out one evening we were coming back that way and it was right around dinner time. We came in and graded with several people a couple people were folding up pie boxes few in the bag, and one at the counter orders were being taken, and even though I came in for a pie or maybe a few pies I heard them mention a pot pie and a woman asked if there were any left. This usually signifies that it's something special that sells out so when we arrived at the counter for our turn, I asked what kind of pot pie it was. She said chicken and we got one. We opted for three slices of different flavored pies, instead of being limited to only being able to try one pie and having to eat it all. Now I know why this place get such great reviews. The crust is to die for! On every pie, even the pot pie, the crust is buttery and flaky, not hard just melts in your mouth yet still holds its shape to hold all the goodness in. We opted for a slice of coconut cream, a berry slice and a lemon cream slice and the chicken pot pie. Every one of them were delicious even a few days later. read more

I've driven here several times during their posted open hours but they were closed (maybe out of pies?) until last week. Finally! There was a long line around 4:00 p.m. but fortunately they had lots of pies still available. We tried peach, sour cream lemon, and volcano (chocolate cream with butterscotch drizzle). Selling delicious pies for over 30 years and still going strong! Our dear friend Chris told us about this place. He rides his Harley once a month from Vegas to get his fave slice of pie. Naturally I had to check it out for myself. According to history the original owners wife decided to start making pies to get more visitors to visit their mercantile store. This is my third visit and I'm still trying to make my way down their delicious menu. My man loves their chicken pot pie, cherry, apple, and sour cream lemon slices. I love their caramel apple, banana cream, Veyo volcano (sweet cream cheese, butterscotch, and chocolate with a whipped cream topping), and the sour cream lemon is my fave. The pie crusts are buttery and flakey, and the fillings are sweet and creamy. There's really nothing more comforting than a slice of your favorite pie. NOT impressed. We bought a berry pie and it was the worst pie we have ever had. The filling was so bitter and the crust was on the over cooked side. We struggled to each eat a slice and threw the rest away. The older woman who helped us was very rude. We were the only ones there no one was waiting for us to order. I asked what kind one of the cream pies were in the glass case and she said "well what does it look like is on the top" I bent over to try and determine and it looked the same as the others. She again sarcastically said "well" we just went with the berry rather than try and get an answer about all the cream that looked the same. There was an outbuilding full of milk and other supplies that was just open to the gravel parking lot thought that was a little unsanitary?? The older lady behind the counter was SO rude. Our experience has been bothering me so much that I wanted to share it. We got to the shop just before they opened and already a line was forming. I made sure before it was our turn to order that we knew what we wanted so we didn't hold up the line (as someone who has serious anxiety ordering, I always make sure I'm prepared and quick so I don't inconvenience anyone). As I began telling her what we'd like, she started gesturing with her hands for me to hurry. I was so confused, because I was giving her my order as she was doing it. While I kept talking, she started gesturing her hands faster and making an irritated face. I was so confused and started getting flustered, which made me slow down ordering because I thought I was doing something wrong. I told her I didn't know what she wanted me to say. She just kept gesturing to hurry, so after I finished telling her the slices we wanted (a cream pie being the last one), she said "that's all I wanted to know was if you wanted any cream ones." Lady, what?? How could I have known that's what you wanted to know if you never said anything?? If she would have just said before I started ordering, to let her know if we were ordering any cream pies first, I would have happily done that. I was so frazzled and upset at how rude she was during the whole process that I ended up going out to the parking lot and crying while my husband paid and got our food. I've never in my life had someone who was taking my order be so rude. The pies were really good, but I wouldn't visit again based off of that interaction. Well, if you're ever close by this place, you totally should stop by. It's a very small shop so there really is only room to place your order but they do have outside seating (limited). It is a very neat place and welcoming though! The staff was super friendly and nice. The were very patient and offered lots of suggestions. They even let us buy some pies and keep it there for a few hours because we were going on a hike. They were very busy though so even with the stress of being busy they handled it well. We tried the sour cream lemon and the Volcano pies. They had lots of fruit ones too. These two that we got were so delicious and dangerous.... like I could eat the whole pie in one sitting dangerous. Came across this place on tik tok & decided to bc check it out before heading back to Vegas. Glad we did because the pies were delicious. It's true - we rarely have the willpower to pass up fresh pie; we were in the way to our campground and saw this place. We promptly did a U turn and pulled in the parking lot. Since we just finished an entire pie a few days ago, we picked up slices (mountain berry for me, cherry for hubby) but also some cookies and fresh salsa. I mean, you have a business solely dedicated to making pies. How can that be a BAD thing??? Fun little spot on the road between here and there, this is definitely a "destination" type place. Chances of finding it accidently are slim as it is a little shop on a busy highway. There's not a fancy thing about this place. You enter the little shop, you see a wonderful selection of full pies or slices. You order said pie or slice. You immediately leave the shop and eat it outside. There is no indoor seating and they have a few tables set up outside for you. Rumor has it the pies are wonderful to take home. I cannot vouch for that as every slice I have ever ordered is devoured on site. You just can't go wrong here.
