$6.50 for 13 fries smaller then my finger.... OUCH!
Justin M.

Sometimes it is fun to go to these little town food joints. However, Expect big prices and small portions (other than the pizza. (Decent portion size, average taste). The Zucchini fries and normal fries (sidewinder) are absolutely the worst value ever. How about 13 fries for $6.50 (.50 cents a fry and the size of my finger). The servers was awkward enough to ask us "please tell your kids not to make a mess, I don't want to clean things up"... no joke. It was something new, but we won't be back 100%

this place is unexpectedly delicious!

This place is a sleepy gem! Did not expect it to be so good. We had some delicious sodas, a pizza, and pasta. All was awesome!

Get yo bottoms in there and get some of this amazing pizza!!! We have now tried three different kinds and each one has been incredible. We love the chicken Alfredo pizzas. We have gotten them thin and regular. We got a supreme and it was off the charts! If you're staying in or around Veyo, this is a must eat!!! Hope you guys stick around for a long while!!!!

My wife loves the pizza!

We stayed at the cabin at the place called "Halmstead Ranch" and we decided to eat lunch at this place. Very friendly workers and I'm happy with their service.

VEYO VOLCANO - pepperoni, onions, jalapeños and lava sauce

It was starting to rain down at Baler Camp so we brought the kids for pizza. We ordered the cauliflower crust Veyo Volcano pizza. HANDS down amazing! I'm a huge fan of pepperoni, jalapeños on pizza and their lava sauce was what made it over the top fantastic! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Great pizza, great food for a small town. You should check it out when getting a pie at Veyo pies that is across the street!

Pizza was delicious. The margarita pizza was so tasty with a thin crunchy crust. Our server was also very polite and helpful.

Nice place to eat. But when they say thin crust they mean it. I will go back when I am in the area again.

It was so easy to park in the downtown area, and it was need to see Cedar City as we made our way in. We were seated immediately for two around 5pm on a Saturday evening. Cute, clean, cozy atmosphere. Our server was super sweet and made some intentional conversation with us. Between my fiance and I, we split the bread, meatballs, and fennel sausage pizza. The bread was great, the meatballs were some of the best I've ever had, and the pizza was above average. That was about the perfect split for two as one pizza is just a bit too much for one serving, but just not quite enough for two with an appetite to split without an appetizer. Reasonably priced, especially considering how the area likely draws in many tourists! I'd go back here for sure.

It's pizza, and pizza is hard to get wrong. But even after reading the great reviews, we were impressed by everything: the friendly service, the variety on the menu, how cozy the interior is and the quality of every ingredient. Here's what I'd recommend and would happily order again: Craft sodas: we had the huckleberry and the apple cider, both made locally in Utah Signature woodfired pizza: we did half Pancetta & Grape, half Artichoke Rosso, and both were excellent Kid-size cheese pizza: kid-approved and adult-approved Raspberry sorbet: they also have gelato, and both are made in-house Pro tip: ask for olive oil and balsamic vinegar to dip your crust. It's so good on its own!

We asked for an inside table for A/C and waited an extra 15 mins to sit inside. Otherwise, a table was ready outside. After 15 mins, we were seated in the back patio, totally exposed to the outside elements. Not what we were expecting but we were hungry so we hunkered down on the patio, in the summer heat. The fly deterrent fan propellers were definitely needed and appreciated for the fly issue in the patio. Our waiter, Jaylin (sp?), was excellent. He brought us water right away. Took our drink and food order quickly and was very attentive throughout our meal. We ordered way too much food but it was fine for leftovers. The kids fettuccine with marinara sauce was good. Pepperoni and combo pizzas were ok. The crust was super crunchy. We parked in the back of the building. It could get packed during peak hours. Not sure if I would return. We are still looking for THE pizza spot in Zion.

So we had to try it. We arrived around 5:30 the interior was decorated with Italian paintings and murals. They boast to have the largest wine selection in Mesquite! Once we were seated, we were handed our menus and asked if we liked anything to drink. Of course we ordered sparkling water. I decided to order Veal Marsala and my friend ordered Veal Piccatta. When my Veal Marsala arrived, it did not look appealing. It was drowned in sauce that looked more like gravy. I could barely taste a hint of Marsala. Plus the sauce was too heavy, like a bland gravy. Use quality Marsala and use enough of it. Thin the sauce out. Why can't restaurants get it right? It's not the first time this had happened to me? Don't the chefs taste the food before it goes out or is this the norm? Plus it was served on top of overcooked pasta! Jeesh! My friend liked his Veal Piccatta. He use to own two restaurants. One is still operating today in Chicago. Just a side note: I use to live in Southern Italy for three and a half years in a small town called San Vito dei Normanni; so I hold 'Italian" restaurants to a high standard. To me, this wasn't Italian food! Its Westernized Italian food!

Bread sticks good, pizza wasn't great…read more How about you invest in some t-shirts for your employees. TOO much skin showing don't need to see a girls chest falling out of her skimpy tank top when she delivers pizza to our table.

Here's The Thing…read more.. You walk in, see the menu there, order and the go sit, and they bring the food to you. There are some things you would do yourself like most drinks you're given your cup and you grab yourself and the salad bar, you're given the bowl and you grab that yourself. The service at the register was awesome and the lady there was super sweet. The first girl to come to our table and bring 2 of the dishes (our party of 6) was super sweet.... But it went downhill from there (service wise). Without typing a whole story, I'm just gonna do bullet points... 1. 1 couple in our group of 6 orders a big pizza to share. When another server comes to drop off plates to share, I'm looking down and grabbing my sandwich to eat and notice she slams the pile of plates on the edge of the table and walks away. I notice because again, she slams them down. I look around and no one else seems to notice and I just move on because I'm hungry and my food looks good (it was!) and I wanted to eat. 2. 5 of us eventually get our food and each are starting to eat when I am so thirsty but my drink was one they bring to you (strawberry lemonade) and hadn't come out yet. I had to stop the server when she dropped off someone food, as she was practically running away, to ask for my drink. She admitted they forgot and it would be out soon. It did come out right say at least. 3. The last of our group's food was coming out finally and they had his past dish in one hand, and his 2 breadsticks in the other - only for the breadsticks to actually be for another table. When he flagged someone down just to inquire on if his were forgotten or just to make sure they hadn't been, he was abruptly told it's busy. We all have worked Retail or Food industry so we get it and don't like to be THOSE people, but there was no line for the register - in fact, now that lady was helping serve, and the Busser was clearing 2 tables. I just feel the service as a whole could have been better - acknowledge "the rest of the food will be out shortly" or even ask "is there anything we are missing right now" or "did you guys need anything else right now" or how about even "we are a little behind on the breadsticks but they'll be out soon" so then maybe they wouldn't get annoyed if asked about something. Just a thought.. But the food? You guys... they step up here! The food was all good. We left full and happy and with leftovers. I shared the Garlic Ranch Pizza (lunch special) and the Whale Sandwich (lunch special) with a salad and would recommend both. Maybe The Whale sandwich just slightly more.

We had 6 people at our table. 2 of our couples ordered at side by side registers and the 3rd couple directly after. One couple was finished eating for about 10 minutes before the other 2 couples got our foodn all sitting at the same table. We all got burgers so it was strange they couldn't do it all at the same time. However, 2 of theirs came and they finished and about 10 minutes later the other 4 of us got our food. I knew it was going to be good but it was not good enough that I would return for a 2nd meal. The food was hot but the burgers were almost burnt. We ate them without complaining cause we'd already waited so long it wasnt worth waiting again for not burned food. The only upsetting meal we've had in the area was here & I had high hopes as busy as the parking lot usually looks. Unfortunately, this is not a spot I'd recommend for a good meal or a quick meal. We were here over an hour for burgers & didnt hang around after we ate but left as soon as we finished. The views & scenery and atmosphere around the restaurant is nice but doesnt make up foe being at a quick eats spot for over an hour
