We're in St. George for Spring Break from Idaho and wanted something easy after a long travel day and this place was perfect. The vibe inside is eclectic, fun, and full of energy. We sat at the bar and loved being able to watch the staff make all the food. Harrison took great care of us and provided excellent service. The kale Caesar with fresh Parmesan was delicious, but the pizza was definitely the highlight. We ordered the OG and added pepperoni... so good! Maybe this was just an off day, but our experience was disappointing. I ordered a cheese pizza online for my daughter and, upon arrival, it wasn't quite ready yet. While waiting, I asked about dessert options because my daughter wanted chocolate ice cream.. Unfortunately, none of the staff seemed familiar with the chocolate options available. After asking multiple times for chocolate ice cream or a dessert containing chocolate, I was repeatedly offered unrelated alternatives. One employee suggested pistachio ice cream with olive oil, which wasn't what I was looking for. The interaction felt frustrating, and the employee assisting me seemed visibly annoyed.. Eventually, my annoyed staff member located a chocolate-and-vanilla option, but when it was packaged up, I had to ask for a spoon and was handed a fork instead. Ohhh my goodness! Genuinely some of the best pizza I've ever had- I am in town for a weekend getaway from Las Vegas, and I would consider driving back to St George just for a meal here! The vibe is nice- simple decor and great music. The pizza is outstanding- the crust is perfect. It has a chew to it and is light and thin, but stands up well to toppings. New favorite pizza spot in St George! I'm gluten intolerant but read that they allow the dough to ferment a couple of days and use Italian flour. True fermented dough does not affect me so I was so excited to try this pizza out. We ordered the Margherita and the pepperoni pizzas plus the Korean bbq chicken wings. The wings were delicious with a slight kick. Perfect crispiness and flavor! The pizzas were perfectly charred with a really good chewy crust. The sauce and toppings were delicious but the crust was my favorite part. The staff were very friendly and it was a clean restaurant. This is the best pizza in St. George, hands-down! They use sourdough for their crust, which gives it delicious flavor. I love the variety of pizzas you can order, they are unique and tasty, and change with the seasons . I would also highly recommend trying their ribeye, it's from a local ranch, the meat is juicy and delicious, and melts in your mouth. I had an amazing lunch at Sandtown Pizza. I normally don't even like salad but it was soooooo good!! I almost want to go back for more salad lol I also had the Verde (it's one of the seasonal pizzas). It had pesto, arugula, and mushrooms- the crust was perfection and I loved the acidity of the char from the little bits on the crust. I believe our server's name is Eristad (so sorry if I misspelled it) but he was really personable and was a huge factor in making the experience a fun one!! They're working on their liquor license and will possibly start selling beer. Right now they have sodas and a root beer on tap!! What's not to like? This feels like a restaurant in every other town outside of stgeorge and that's exactly why I love it. Finally a chef opened spot with owners who are passionate about food and flavor. The house salad was a little salty for me personally but still good. Oh! And the seasonal squash was so good. The peanut butter pie never misses. Sandtown Pizza is easily one of my favorite pizza spots in town. You can tell right away they use higher quality ingredients, and that alone puts them above the typical cookie-cutter pizza places. The dough has a really nice chew, and with that wood-fired finish, it's hard to go wrong. I tried the white pizza with rosemary, and while the rosemary was a bit strong for my palate, the more traditional pies are absolutely delicious and very well balanced. The flavors come through clean and fresh, and the consistency here keeps me coming back. That's what a great pizza joint should be--homemade feel, great quality, and reliable every time. If you're looking for a spot that puts real care into their pizza, Sandtown Pizza is definitely worth a visit. read more

As a tattooed, punk-rock millennial, this spot is one of--if not the most--inviting, least judgmental places in St. George. When we first walked in, the music was giving surf-rock vibes: very mellow, definitely keeping with the overall attitude of the place. Families were enjoying the awesome food, with pizza dough being tossed in the air and charred broccolini being pulled out of the killer pizza oven. As the night progressed and the families headed home, the music changed to more of a hardcore beat and I felt at home. My family was drinking beers as I was getting root-beer wasted (1 year California sober). We ordered the funeral potatoes to start, the OG with pepperoni and the Sandtown Verde--all of it was f***ing amazing! And then dipping your crust in the ranch...another level of greatness. Our server was rad! He grabbed chilled glasses for all of our drinks, checked on us regularly to make sure we were doing ok, and he was extremely personable, making jokes and starting conversation. Let's be honest...St. George isn't really known for being alternative and usually judges pretty hard if you don't look like/act like everyone else. But this place shatters the local stereotype that tattooed, pierced, punk-rock people are rude, lazy, or shameful. Everyone working was nice, polite, and super chill. I'd go back just to hang out and shoot the shit with everyone. Definitely make reservations, try the root beer if you don't drink alcohol or if you do, try it anyways, and they have pizza by the slice during select daytime hours. Grab a slice, get a drink, sit back, enjoy the tunes, art, and personality of all the staff, you won't be disappointed and if you are then go home and add some more mayo to your spicy ketchup. read more

A must whenever we're in town! I appreciate the vegan friendly options, and love their unique toppings (like pears and lemon)! Everything is always fresh and tasty! The inside is hip with cool art and a fun vibe. I wish they sold beer, but I get it! Only marking down a point because something always goes wrong with service. One time, the whole pace was smoky because someone burnt pizza. Another time they gave us all the wrong salads. The worst was when they dropped our food!
