If was I was going to transform into any other animal, I think I'd become a sloth. They are cute, furry and get to lounge around all the time. They are just my speed-not speedy at all. OK, that might not be true, but I do think they're cute. Imagine my surprise and delight when my doorbell rang one afternoon and a box of Sloth Cookies appeared before me. It was an incredibly kind gesture from a dear person in my life and I immediately got to work trying a bite of each one. They were fresh and tasty-my favorite was probably the Snickerdoodle, although the sugar cookie with a lemon hint was also a hit! I love that modern technology allows people to find, order and deliver delicious treats in a matter of hours. I'll be sure to stop by their location when I need to satisfy my sweet tooth next. read more

I'm so sad that this location closed down :( the cookies were amazing especially the Edmonton (Chocolate Chip Cookie) & the staff was super friendly & welcoming every visit. I will miss this place and I hope in the future they will open again!! I'm so glad I got to stock up on cookies before the last day. read more

Love their cookies. Excellent flavor, without simply being loaded with sugar, frosted with sugar and sprinkled with sugar. The cookie actually tastes like its flavor, the frosting a nice topping, but its own complimenting flavor. They're always moist & fresh. I e only ever seen one lady in there & she's always friendly, informative& professional. It's decorated as a cookie shop should be, super cute & has a small outdoor area with tables too. read more

Really cute little cookie shop in a good area! We were greeted by two friendly and helpful employees on Christmas Eve. We got the gingerbread, chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, and peanut butter chocolate chip. The cookies all has a really good flavor. The peanut butter chocolate chip was the best one. The gingerbread one was tasty as well. I will say, the cookies weren't as soft or thick as other cookie stores around town. They did get pretty hard just a few hours later so we ended up just reheating them in the microwave to make them soft again. Overall, good cookies with good flavor. I would like to give them a second chance with hopes to have a softer cookie! read more

Sloth Cookies - Rico and Dougie cookies - Bakeries Near Me - St. George, Utah

Best cookie in town! You'll be sorry if you buy only one, cause I promise you will want more!

This review is sorely overdue, as I visited Sloth Cookies back in May during a day trip to Saint George. I was in the area of this bakery and decided I should pop in and snag some cookies to take back home to Vegas. I ordered a six pack of cookies, so I was able to try all of the flavors, less the Louisa (lemon cookie). Overall, my favorite cookie was the Dougie, which is peanut butter chocolate chip. But then again, I'm a sucker for all things peanut butter. The six pack of cookies ran me $12, which is a bit steep, but I felt that the quality was worth it and I always feel good supporting small businesses, especially in this time of Covid. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience at Sloth Cookies, though I felt the employee working seemed a bit unenthused with my questions. I would most likely return next time I'm in the area. read more

I am not sure how long this place has been in business but I am sad we have not been here sooner! If you love sloths which my kids do this is the place for you. The atmosphere is a fun, energetic cookie shop and the cookies are top notch. Each Cookie has a name which coincides with a sloth name (fun names like Edmonton and Louisa..) we had the Sebastian: pina colada pineapple coconut sugar cookie! Wow, it seriously was the best sugar cookie I have ever had!! Thank you! We will be back. read more

It was so refreshing to go to a cookie place with truly unique flavors. The cookies here were DELICIOUS. The macadamia nut cookie was out of this world. It's a good thing I live far or I'd be here weekly. read more

The sugar cookies were really good. My favorite was the lemon. The raspberry was okay but out of our group of 16 I was out voted. Their favorite was the raspberry. The other cookies were just okay. They all tasted the same and were over cooked and some tasted burnt. Disappointed If we went back it would just be for the sugar. We bought a dozen and threw most of them away. read more

We stopped by this place because we needed to kill time when charging our car at a nearby supercharger. I am SO glad we stopped in! We got 6 cookies for the road, all of which were incredible. The frosted sugar cookies were my favorite. We actually stopped by on our way back home and picked up a bag of assorted mini cookies. They were all super soft and delicious. The woman who was working at the shop both days was very nice and even gave us a free cookie with our first 6. If you're in or stopping by St. George, you gotta go here! read more

My favorite cookies in St. George! I love "the sloth" flavor! Delicious if you are a cookie lover.

Oh boy. My bookclub has turned all of us into Cookie Monsters. The last boutique cookie store to be tried will be the downfall of our waistlines! (Thank goodness for age and Spanx). It is to our advantage that Sloth is on the Sunset side of town...far away from our Washington City Library Bookenders. Recommendation beyond seasonal frosted sugar cookies, try the signature cookie called the Sloth (oatmeal chocolate chip toffee pecans). Going one better is the Rico (oatmeal toffee coconut). The cute names don't cover up favs: Edmonton Chocolate Chip; Dougie Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip; Romee Raspberry Sugar (frosted); Louisa Lemon Sugar (frosted); Winnie White Chocolate Pecan w/coconut. Like all boutique cookies, these special, spoil your Mama, look pricey at 6 cookies for $12/ 12 cookies for $22. But for special occasions splurge. If you just need a pick me up .... go for it. Guaranteed to make you feel better. Manna from heaven. I gobbled down my cookies (good sized too) before I realized I wanted to take pictures of the warm from the oven circles of goodness. Next time. Promise. read more

the employee with the pink hair is so friendly and cute..such a great vibe. would recommend just for that interaction. cookies were ok.

I drive by this place often--finally decided to stop today. Girl working the counter wasn't very friendly. She almost seemed annoyed that I had stopped by. I ordered "the sloth" cookie which is basically a combo of chocolate chips, oatmeal, coconut, toffee and pecan bits. It was warm and gooey and tasted good, not great. Also ordered an iced chai. The drink was gritty. Flavor was good, but I'd expect more when paying close to $4 for a drink. See pics. With so many other cookie options around town, I probably won't return. read more

Amazing cookies. I use them for birthday cookies at my business. They are fantastic! Everyone loves them!

Super rich and decadent but not too much. Sloth is a step above the rest of the cookie shops.

My daughter is obsessed with sloths so we went to this place for cookies. They had no cookies designed like sloths but the wall decor was enough for her. We got a chocolate chip and raspberry frosted sugar cookie. They were both quite good. I also hear the lemon frosted sugar cookie is great so I may go get one of those today. read more

I've been meaning to get over to Sloth Cookies for so long. I was very impressed the customer service was great! The cookies aren't overly sweet which I was happy about. Just the best. Fresh and tasty and yummy for my tummy. Have tried them all and just great.

***New Kid on the block*** where did these delicious treats come from. These sloth cookies are absolutely D-vine. I've been dreaming of the "Louisa" lemon frosted sugar cookie sent from heaven since my last visit. Num! They have a variety of all things scrumptious in the cookie arena. Tonight...in addition to the choc chip, I'm trying the "Romee" sugar cookie with Raspberry Frosting. And it looks beyond TASTY! read more

I have always been a fan of Crumbl cookie, but Sloth Cookies made one of the best cookies I've had - not to mention, the owner is soo kind. I definitely recommend the Rico cookie. So happy we stumbled upon this cookie shop. We will definitely be back next time we're in town! read more

Great cookies and customer service. Selection was good. Our daughter loves sloths and the employees were so nice to her.

The sloth cookie gives me the satisfaction I haven't gotten from a grocery store cookie. They are fresh and scrumptious!

Excellent cookies, way better choices than Cr***, and chocolate chip are normal (semi sweet) chips instead of sickenly sweet milk chocolate. Great service, and quality of cookies were very good. Nice compromise between soft and crunchy, so either preference will like them. read more

What I wouldn't give to have their recipe for the sugar cookies! I'm so sad that I live in another state, where this does not exist. The place is super clean, and I watched someone making cookies. They had on a mask and wore gloves. It definitely made me feel better. Service was efficient and very friendly. Oh, how I wish I had another dozen of those cookies, now that I am back home. read more

Let me preface this by saying that I contacted Sloth Cookies about my experience and never received a response back, so unfortunately I need to post here. We visited Sloth Cookies over a week ago and an undisclosed tree nut sent my 9 year old daughter to the emergency room with a severe allergic reaction. I messaged the store to let them know that they need to clearly label cookies containing nuts. As I received no response from them, I felt like I needed to post here to hopefully keep other people safe. Allergic reaction aside, the cookies on display looked flat, boring, and completely unappetizing. The brand is cute, but they may have spent more energy into creating sloth characters rather than improving their cookie recipes. read more
