It took ALL of my will power to not order a slice of the carrot cake which looked like it was baked in house along with the other goodies. We were going to be hiking shortly so I didn't want a sugar bomb sitting in my stomach the whole time. I do wish I had taken a piece to-go to enjoy later that night. Next time for sure! I'm a fan of the traditional, no frills glazed or sugar variety. I can appreciate the artistic appeal of the fancy donuts that some shops are coming up with, but my go-to will always be the tried and true. Daylight gives me just that. Nothing over-the-top ridiculous. And the customer service is terrific. Even though it's a large organization, they have managed to preserve the small-town feel. Good job!
