We love Tropical Smoothie Cafe in general. This location used to be great, customer service now... meh. Drive through order then payment at the window is highly pressured "add a tip?" Shove the machine in your face. Stare you down and attitude change if you don't tip. Theres a tip cup already there but that's not enough. Theres an entitlement behind the question. The intention behind this feels like they will do something to my food if I don't tip. Hold me hostage unless I Tip? For what? I haven't even got my food, they haven't even provided a service other than take an order! I thought a tip was a gesture of good service, good food, etc up to me! We have skipped this location several times now to go to St George where the employees are much nicer and don't expect a TIP and are sincerely grateful if they get a tip. GEEZ. read more

I love smoothies and that was our first order of business when we got to the order counter... it was a hot and dry weather in Southern Utah. Then I saw the flatbreads on their menu. Yes, please! We made it a combo, their "Pair and Save" deal. The staff employee was friendly and helpful and patient while we were deciding... err, while hubby was deciding. I already knew what I wanted, the chicken bacon ranch flatbread, with Strawberry Chia Lemonade smoothie, and chips. Hubby chose the Green Goddess Garlic Herb Shrimp flatbread with his Avocolada smoothie. The dining room is spacious and clean! We chose a table and our smoothies were brought to us first. Visited from out of town and had never been to a TSC. What lured us to try it was the craving for smoothies and then seeing that they also had food on their menu. All the smoothie places I've been to back home only serve smoothies. I tried the Cali Breakfast Flatbread (which is served all day) and it was DELICIOUS! On our way to Kanab and needed a food/refreshing drink break and came across Tropical Smoothie. We decided to go via drive through and ordered a Baja Chicken bowl and a chia banana smoothie. It was a bit of a long line so we were waiting about 15 minutes to order and then 15 minutes for our order. When we got our food, we realized they hadn't given us any utensils. We went inside and while there were 7 people working/standing there; no one offered to help us. Finally we said something and got a set of utensils. The food and smoothie itself were huge disappointments. The bowl was 80% lettuce and even then, the lettuce was wilted/dirty and the pieces of chicken that were there felt undercooked. We ended up throwing a majority of it away. The smoothie was mostly ice and did not have much flavor. A positive is everyone working there was wearing masks which we appreciated Overall, will not be coming back. read more

This is my absolute favorite place to get a smoothie. They have the best flavor and are t loaded with sugar or chemical sweeteners. I love the PEANUT BUTTER BANANA CRUNCH FLATBREAD. . I a go to for me for the last two years along with the Bahama MAMA smoothie. Recently my 8 and 10yr old daughters (who are extremely picky) love their SUNRISE SUNSET and SUNSHINE SMOOTHIE. Came in to pickup 2 Online orders. My Wife's work ordered hers directly 2 days ago. I ordered mine this morning for same time as her pickup time. Came in at 12:43 and mine was ready and waiting. When I asked for hers I got the deer in the headlights look. He went around the corner telling another employee about the issue. They hurried and put the order together pretty fast. It included a smoothie which original employee started making. Delay was just over 5 min. What's the real issue is this is the second time we've had this happen with 2 orders. Will probably be last time we do this. When I arrived home my Wife's salad was not very good and just thrown together. Looks like they need to change something to address this issue. Our combined orders were over $23. Was definitely not worth the price. Don't think we will come back to this location. read more

Been a regular there for sometime. A nice cool smoothie on a hot day is refreshing. But, lately the service has gone down and the wait times longer. Recently I went in and ordered, then about 3 minutes later, 2 others came in. The person after me (4 orders) and the person after them (1 order) got theirs before me. My first time eating food from Topical Smoothie Cafe. My husband and I ordered the wrap and smoothie combo. We both got the chicken Buffalo wrap which had a nice spicy kick to it. Our smoothies were not good at all. There was more poorly crushed ice than actual smoothie. For two of the combos we paid just under $30. If you plan to eat here just stick to ordering one of the wraps or food items versus any of the smoothies. The names of the wraps are enticing, but the flavors are FAR from authentic. They're all basic wraps. Nothing special - even though they're called Thai chicken, and Jerk chicken. I'm not sure when cheese for involved in Jerk. The smoothies are also somewhat bland. I expected the triple berry smoothie to be full of flavor and tart and natural, but it was very mellow. I tried the place twice to try different things, but the results were the same.
