Great ice cream!! The service was super sweet. It was really dead when I went, so felt a little funny sitting and enjoying my ice cream, but lots of available seating.

An original from Salt Lake City! Now in St George with new but still delicious ice creams. Their raspberry oreo is one of the bests I've ever had and their ice cream sandwiches use excellent cookies. Definitely a local place worth our support!

I grew up on Snelgrove's Canadian vanilla - it's straight childhood nostalgia! The ice cream is no longer sold by me and I had no idea it was an actual store! Imagine my surprise and delight when I discovered I could get my beloved Canadian vanilla once more!! The St. George Snelgrove's is an absolute gem. The flavors are perfection (can I get a HALLELUJAH for peanut butter Oreo?!) and there's also s Canadian chocolate! My girls were obsessed with the ice cream, suckers, and gift shop items. I got a Snelgrove's crew neck sweater and wear it with pride because there's "ALWAYS room for ice cream!"

Snelgrove is always a must stop while in town. Their ice cream is so creamy and they have a lot of great flavors! The service is always excellent as well.

Family owned! The owners are super nice and everyone who works here is friendly. They make the ice cream themselves! The new one, goat cheese and blueberry is to die for. My kids have a food coloring allergy and they don't often use a ton of synthetic food coloring in their ice cream so it's a great option for us. The scoops are large, we always. Order half of a mini scoop which is their smallest size. They have punch cards too. If I was being nit picky, I'd say more comfortable seating would be nice in place of all the shelving. It's not really a sit and eat place it's a get it and go place. I'd enjoy spending more time there with the ice cream if there was more comfortable seating/tables.

Snelgrove is consistently yummy! The ice cream is always creamy and we love their waffle cones. We have always had friendly employees helping us. It's a great spot for a treat!

    This flavor...just, wow!

No frills, down to earth old fashioned ice cream with dynamic and delicious flavors. The ice cream is not overly dense and has a nice mouthfeel for "to go" type orders. So far have tried a shake, cone with scoops and a few take home pints...all of it delicious and worth the price. This is not generic grocery store ice cream...it's the real deal.

This is a cute little ice cream shop with fun flavors like Raspberry Oreo (which I got), m&m cookie dough, malted milk, key lime pie, etc. as well as classics like cookies & cream, caramel cashew, etc. They had a good selection of sorbets as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were taking an ice cream to-go and they put it in a bigger cup for us so that it had room for any melting that would happen as we drove home. They also placed it in the freezer until we had finished the ones we were eating, so it would be nice and cold as we headed out. It probably wasn't the best ice cream we've ever had, but still good and creamy. Worth supporting local and trying some fun flavors.

Such a cute, little ice cream shop with a cool history/background! We're visiting from Northern Utah and this was perfect for such a hot day! Very welcoming environment and super nice staff! We might even swing by once more before we head back home! (:

Quick review: Go right now. All the flavors are good. You can't go wrong! Thorough review: Although I'm too young to have enjoyed Snelgrove Ice Cream at one of the parlors in Salt Lake City, I grew up getting it from grocery stores and was so sad when it stopped being available in 2008. I just happened to see this new Snelgrove storefront when I drove through St. George and was so excited to see that Snelgrove's descendants have revitalized it! We stopped in and chatted with one of the owners, who was very friendly and told us about how it came to be and let us try samples. They have original recipes and some new flavors that were all yummy! It has been impossible to find anything like Burnt Almond Fudge (my late grandfather's favorite flavor that we would eat on his birthday in his memory), so I got that flavor, as well as Thunder Crunch and Raspberry Oreo. (You can get 3 flavors in your 2.5 scoops for the small size, which was a generous but perfect amount, if you like more than a taste, which you'll want--trust me!) Burnt Almond Fudge was even better than I remembered. Thunder Crunch--a nod to the local high school--was a delicious mix of dulce de leche and chocolate ice creams with Skor and Twix pieces. And the Raspberry Oreo was chock-full of fresh and flavorful raspberries (they don't use syrups), which tasted amazing. I'm picky about my ice cream, and I absolutely give Snelgrove's 5 stars. They also get bonus points for supporting local businesses and providing them space to sell their goods!

    Happy customers!

Nothing like the original in Sugarhouse except the name. Flavors were limited. The location was on the outskirts of town.

The cashier even double-checked our order to make sure everything was correct, which I always appreciate. We ordered Swiss Mushroom Butter burgers, cheese curds, pork tenderloin sandwich, plus a concrete mixer and custard and everything came out perfectly and were delivered to our table with care. Fresh, delicious, and served at the right temperature. It tasted like the Culver's we remember so fondly. In contrast to the other St. George Culver's at 2134 Sunset Blvd, the dining room here was clean and well-kept, with tables that didn't look like they'd been ignored throughout the day. The service matched that same energy. Only downside: they don't sell the Reuben here. But honestly, everything else on the menu tastes just as delicious anyway!

You really can taste the quality in the ingredients. The patty is smashed and has just the right amount of crust. It could've been cooked a bit longer but it was still tasty. Their spicy chicken sandwich was actually spicy! The vibrant crusty coating was a telling giveaway that this would be good. The kick really amped up the whole sandwich. Lastly, the fish. Everyone raves about this and I see why. It's so flaky and not too heavy on the batter. I dressed mine with the fresh lemon wedges provided and malt vinegar. A sprinkle of salt or a kind of seasoning would have made this better. Nonetheless, their fish is really good. I also had to try their beloved cheese curds which I was a fan of! They are on the saltier side and the coating reminds me of an Italian seasoning breading for mozzarella sticks.
