They had a variety of drinks to choose from and I had the hot chocolate. It was good but no better than any of the competitors that I have tried and I think it was an extra $.50 for whip cream. The star of the show is the plethora of donut choices. Donuts, cronuts, donut holes, bards, etc. Some of the funniest named donuts I have seen. Some of the most intricately designed donuts that I have seen. The reindeer pooh, holiday pinky, and Christmas tree for example. I ended up trying the chocolate doughcro. It was good, not great. It was chocolatey and sweet, but it did not have the cronut flakiness that I expect from having tried several at competitors donut shops. You select a base paleta (popsicle) with vanilla, taro, pistachio... Then you select a coating that they dip your paleta into, white chocolate, milk chocolate... Then they sprinkle on the topping of your choice, which includes the kinds of things you normally see at a frozen yogurt shop. A side note, they offer paletas wrapped in waffle cone. I assumed these would be chewy and soggy like the old drumstick ice cream cones I used to eat when I was a kid from the gas station. My wife loves waffle cones so she gave it a shot and we were both shocked that it had a nice flavor and was pretty crispy. I was very impressed that they figured out how to keep the cone tasting good. I came here a few months ago driving through town and loved it so much that the next time I was driving through I brought my wife and tried it again! We all loved it!

I've even started asking at the front counter if I can get a fresh made one and not one off the pile of premade dry cold flat gross crapes, and both times I've asked, they've told me no, they can't make me a fresh one, I have to get mine off of the cold dried out dead stack. Unfortunately, a recent experience completely changed my perspective for me. We attended their Easter egg hunt for the second year in a row. They advertised a 3-minute head start for toddlers (ages 0-3). As a mom of a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old, this is perfect. We invited several of our toddler mom friends and family to hunt with our kiddos. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee at the cafe before venturing to the event. Instead, it was nothing like last year and there was no separation. Older kids and oddly pushy parents immediately trampled the small courtyard area. It was chaotic, overwhelming, and frankly unsafe for the littlest ones. When I privately messaged the business to share that the promised toddler head start wasn't enforced and suggested better structure for next year, I was met with complete defensiveness. I was essentially told I should be "grateful" rather than disappointed because it was a free event (when technically we did pay over $50 to "be there") I completely understand that free community events are a massive undertaking, but good intentions don't excuse poor advertising, poor safety execution or dismissing customer feedback. To not even get a simple apology after years of loyalty leaves a terrible taste in my mouth. (Especially all while my kids and I are being used in marketing) I hope they can strive to actually make their customers "FeelLove" in the future.
