Same post as before, this place is a must try. We tried the cake this time and it was amazing.

Great venue in a commercial space near The Parker. Perfect stop before a concert or show. Quick service with interesting and healthy choices. Food was plated beautifully with large portions and interesting flavors and spices. "A MUST TRY" SUPPORT LOCAL

Great local spot with a variety of choices! The salads are great! The bowls are customizable! The sweet potato fries are excellent! Perfect spot for a lunch meetup!

I ate once here but the Coral Gables location years ago and I was with a group of people so i suggested Doc B's. I felt the menu was diverse enough to offer everybody good options. We almost didn't order the shrimp cocktail appetizer but I'm glad we did bc we devoured it in seconds, so fresh. For my entree i got the Chimichurri Steak with crispy jalapeño potatoes and WOW, I even offered a bite to my mom and she was pleasantly surprised. Great flavor throughout. For dessert, I got the limited time pumpkin pie and i was grateful for the portion size because I even took some home with me for later! We didn't make reservations but we were able to be sat right away on a Sunday afternoon. Our server was attentive and always made sure we had water refills. Overall, great experience and I'd definitely go back to try some other items on the menu!

We're back !!!!! We were here a while ago and decided to stop by for an early dinner . Started off with the One pound Meatball as an appetizer. Wow very tasty looked bigger last time we came but still was enough for two to share . We both ordered there famous wok bowls , wifey got the Salmon with lomein I got the chicken with rice both topped with mushrooms and veggies fantastic combo w teriyaki sauce . Atmosphere was great too hot to sit outside so we sat inside .

Lobster roll & jalapeño taters.

Popped into Doc B's for lunch and was very impressed. It's a chain but very well put together. The layout is user friendly with a nice bar situated upon entering. I slid into a comfy two top and immediately ordered the candied bacon appetizer. Wow! Crispy and sweet. A nice portion too. Along with my sweet tea I got the lunch special: a knuckle sandwich aka lobster roll. With a side of yummy jalapeño potatoes. The roll was awesome (a bit too much arugula which I ditched) on the perfect lobster roll bun. A bountiful meal served by a very sweet and lovely server, whose name I didn't get. (I always forget darn it!) I'll be back with my gang.

We have had Doc B's on our list forever. When my husband suggested that we go there for our anniversary, I jumped at it. One of the bad things about having something on your mind for a while is that sometimes it doesn't live up to your expectations, even if everything is done well. Well, that was not the case. We had an amazing time! My husband even mentioned that he has wished that we had gone here for his birthday, that the atmosphere was what he had expected from a different place we had on our list for a long time. We walked in at 6:15 for a 6:30 reservation and we were greeted by a very friendly host. She took us to our seats. The restaurant was a bit empty - but quickly filled up after we got there. There were so many things on the menu I wanted to try. I loved that they had tofu as an option, because I try not to eat a lot of meats. We started with the California grilled artichokes. They were so good, even without the sauce. I wish restaurants sold them by the piece, so a table of 2 could get 2 and a table of 4 doesn't have to divvy up 3. The dipping sauce was also delicious. It was a nice way to start our meal. Our server brought us hot hand towels to clean our hands and switched out our silverware with new/clean ones. Our server took our dinner order when we were done eating our appetizers. We appreciated not being rushed or pressured. He allowed us to enjoy the appetizers and not worry about food coming out too quickly. My husband has been talking about the Angry meatball since he yelped Doc Bs some time ago. He decided he would get the entree that came with rigatoni. I tasted the rigatoni and it was perfectly cooked and the sauce was delicious. He ate the entire thing. I had one of the bowls from the special list. It came with mango but since my husband is allergic I had that removed. They made sure to mention that it wasn't included. The bowl I had was thicker noodles, tofu, avocado and some veggies in a Thai peanut sauce. It had a spicy kick, but not so spicy that I wasn't able to enjoy it. We ended with a cup of coffee that came with a wooden spoon stirrer (how cute) and the home made Oreo ice cream that came with a side of "magic shell." As my husband said, it was really Oreos held together with ice cream. It was so good! I don't think I would want any of the other desserts. All in all it was such a great experience. Everything - from the time we walked in, to the time we walked out, exceeded our expectations. Can't wait to go back!

Chimichurri Chicken Wings

Sat at bar Great service For our app(it was on daily special menu I think was the Chimichurri Chicken wings.. Cooked to Perfection.. amazing flavor profiles!! For entree. We ordered Cobb Salad(my friend cleaned the plate!, said it was delicious .. I got the Fried Chicken sandwich sooo good and juicy.. one of best fried chix sandwich's in the area Will def be back... but go early after 6pm o weekend it fills up but nice open concept .. you can see the kitchen and well lit.. Or make a reservation if they take them It's good size place but it fill up fast Once full parking can be a little tricky as it's In a shopping center but really not that big a deal I'm sure you will find parking .. it's a big shopping center lot

Doc B's was perhaps my favorite meal from Fort Lauderdale/Miami trip. Our birthday group stopped in for brunch on Sunday and started with drinks. Most of the table got mimosas, but I got a bloody mary. We also ordered a bottle of champagne for the table, which was really good! For food, we ordered the Cinn-A-Swirl Pan-Cake for the table, which I recommend everyone order when they go to Doc B's. Essentially, it's a giant cinnamon roll that's also a pancake, so it's not as heavy as a cinnamon roll, but tastes as warm as a pancake does. I also ordered the chicken and waffles, which was a quarter chicken, fried and tossed in a habanero-honey sauce. The chicken was really good and not too spicy and paired well with the waffles. Simple presentation, which is ideal for brunch. Our server, Junior was attentive and quick, and made sure we were always taken care of. Good location too, right in the center of all parts of the city you'd be going to on any given day. Good for groups as well!

Chicken kebab bowl - wonderful

We sat outside because inside was busy and buzzing with conversations. We wanted some fresh air. I hadn't come to this restaurant since I moved home but I'm glad we came. I ordered a Greek-style chicken kabab bowl with cilantro rice, hummus, tzatziki and cucumber salad, it was very good. For dessert, we shared the chocolate cake, which was rich and decadent. And we had an amazing waitress, I believe her name was Carol. Excellent experience, we'll be back!

Chicken kebabs with cilantro rice and a cucumber salad

Doc B's is located in a strip mall, so there's lots of parking. It's near many other retailers, including other popular restaurants. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and you can eat at the bar. We went on a Saturday for luner before an early theater performance. We opted for the Danish ribs and the chicken kebabs. When a rib did have a decent amount of meat, it was tasty. Otherwise, the ribs were bony and the meat was overcooked. The chicken on the kebabs was a bit mushy because it, too, was overcooked. The sides for both dishes were divine. I usually do not like raw kale but the slaw that accompanied the ribs was crunchy and creamy. Cilantro rice and cucumber salad with feta came with the kebabs and they were scrumptious. All three sides would have been a great meal for me. Since we hardly ate any carbs with dinner (just the rice), we opted to share a piece of chocolate cake for dessert. It was satisfying. Service was fast and friendly and our tab for two entrees and one dessert, including tax and tip was $88.

Like "let's take pictures before we eat because this patio belongs in a lifestyle magazine" gorgeous. Las Olas energy at its finest. The outdoor seating is fantastic, the atmosphere feels upscale without being stuffy, and honestly, the food was outstanding. Which is why this hurts. We came for Mother's Day brunch and intentionally avoided rushing over for happy hour pricing because we wanted a relaxed meal. Adult decision. Responsible. Mature. Mistake number one apparently. Started with the charred corn and avocado dip and I need whoever created that dish to be recognized with some sort of civic award. Ridiculously good. One of those appetizers where you immediately start calculating whether licking the bowl in public is socially acceptable. Then came the steak and eggs discussion. My wife and I were both looking at the steak and eggs listed on the menu for $26.75. Our waiter explained that the standard steak was only four ounces and casually suggested upgrading to a six ounce or eight ounce cut instead. Now listen carefully because this is where the plot twists into a financial thriller. At no point during this conversation was pricing for the upgrade mentioned. And shame on me for not asking. That part is absolutely on me. But the suggestion was delivered with the same casual energy as "would you like fries with that?" So I upgraded to the eight ounce. My wife went with the six ounce. She also had a margarita she loved. We skipped dessert because we were stuffed and, as it turns out, accidentally entering a luxury cattle futures market. Then the handheld payment machine arrived. $175. I stared at that screen like it had just informed me my mortgage was due immediately. Turns out those extra six ounces of sirloin between the two plates carried an upcharge that could finance a small fishing boat. Roughly ten dollars an ounce for the upgrade. Somewhere, a Wagyu cow laughed at me from a distance. And look, before anybody jumps in, yes... I should have asked. Lesson learned. But restaurants also know exactly what they're doing when upgrade pricing gets floated around casually without numbers attached. There's a difference between upselling and a sneak attack. Which makes this review frustrating because I genuinely loved almost everything else. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was fantastic. Service was friendly. But nothing tanks the ending of a brunch quite like feeling blindsided by steak math. Pro tip for future diners: If they suggest the upgraded steak, ask the price immediately. Ask twice. Possibly get it notarized. Three stars because I really do want to come back someday. But right now I still feel like I got hit with a reverse happy hour.

We were coming from Hallandale, we had an 8pm reservation got seated around 815 which wasn't too bad. We were sat in a dimmer quieter section away which I really appreciate since our 1 year old was sleeping giving us the perfect date-night setting. Unfortunately the last time we been to Shooters was Valentine's Day 2025. We weren't aware that the menu had been changed since our last time dining which was rather unfortunate since the two entrees (seared brown butter scallops & shrimp and grilled soy-ginger glazed salmon) we came for were changed on the menu. We ended up getting the soy glazed salmon and scallops & prawns which unfortunately we did not enjoy at all. Even the sides were different previously you could just get a side of Mac now you can only get a side of truffle Mac? The grilled soy ginger salmon was on a bed of veggies (bok choy, Napa cabbage, onions, peppers) the one that's currently on the menu was basically on two inedible pieces of bok choy and a bed of rice I couldn't even break and chew the bok choy. Our server Ava was very attentive and sweet even gave a beautiful little treat for a birthday dessert ( not a chocolate fan but her energy made the dessert amazing ). After we paid our check we asked Ava for a manager and did specify that it was regarding the food more and not her service. I didn't catch the name of the manager we spoke to but her response to us simply questioning the menu change was she's not the culinary director or something along those lines but she would still hear our feedback. She just had such an I don't care attitude about it in my opinion and had I not had a few drinks in my system, trying to enjoy my time out with my family and birthday I would've let her know her attitude regarding it just was unnecessary. We unfortunately agreed to find a new go-to restaurant to celebrate our special occasions since so much has changed. Thank you so much to Ava for making our visit worth it! Didn't get pictures of the salmon, scallops, drinks or oysters that we got but I did get the fish dip and the dessert. Edited to add pictures from one of our previous visits

We opted to sit outside, since it is waterfront and even though it was a hot summer day, it was surprisingly manageable since our covered table made all the difference while we enjoyed the stunning waterfront views. We kicked things off with cocktails, and some wine and the Sun Kissed Cocktail was an excellent choice. Not only was it delicious and refreshing, but the presentation was absolutely stunning . a real rose embedded inside an ice cube. It was almost too beautiful to drink... almost. For appetizers, we went with the Tropical Ceviche and the Tuna Tacos, and both were incredible. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and I loved the mango touch that both dishes shared as it added the perfect tropical sweetness. Then came the entrees, we shared the Shoyu Glazed Sea Bass served with a rice pilaf, edamame purée, bok choy, and shiitake mushrooms, this fish was literally melt-in-your-mouth perfection. We also shared the Lobster Diavolo Pasta which was equally impressive and packed with generous chunks of lobster throughout the pasta, plus a whole small lobster to crack into. And then there were the side of Brussels Sprouts ... honestly, I never thought I'd be raving about a side dish, but here we are. Served shredded rather than whole, and tossed in the most incredible sauce, these were hands down some of the best Brussels sprouts I have ever had in my life. A must-order. Boatyard exceeded every expectation. The food, the atmosphere, the presentation .. all top tier. My cousin picked a winner, and we'll absolutely be back!

The wait is so worth it! It's very busy and loud there, though, if you are eating indoors at the bar like I was. The bartenders and barbacks are very busy. The restaurant is known for something called "Scoobies" which per Google Gemini are "crab claws (traditionally blue crab or snow crab) that have been partially de-shelled--leaving just the "pincher" as a handle--and sautéed in a rich sauce of garlic, butter, and olive oil with crushed red pepper and scallions." I didn't get the Scoobies because I was apprehensive about how difficult they would be to eat. My dishes were fried oysters, fish tacos, and coconut shrimp platter. They were all fine, but unremarkable. The platter comes with fries and cole slaw as listed, but when I said to the bartender that I didn't need cole slaw, just extra fries, he offered/clarified that I could substitute another side instead, so I went with broccoli. I did notice that there were many flies flying around when my shrimp platter came out. One of the other bartenders put out a plate of hot sauce to repel the flies, which helped. The place is famous and sells its own merchandise like shirts and hats. It is not located near other restaurants, and you'll have to walk fifteen minutes or get an Uber if you are discouraged by the waiting time. The people dining here look like they are pretty well off and are able to enjoy life.
