We've hosted multiple end-of-season sports parties here, and every experience has been seamless. The food is fantastic with a great variety of BBQ options, and I really appreciate that they offer solid veggie choices too, it makes it easy for everyone to enjoy. And I have to mention their New Zealand sauvignon blanc... it's honestly one of my favorites! What really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. It's such a warm, family-friendly spot where we've created so many fun memories with friends and teammates. We've completely moved away from the typical pizza party places (especially after some not-so-great experiences elsewhere) and now always come here instead. It feels good to support a local business that truly supports families and local sports teams right back. Highly recommend for gatherings, celebrations, or just a great meal with good people!

That said, the tri-tip was mostly tender (3 out of 4 pieces were great), and the BBQ sauce was surprisingly good--I don't usually go for sauce, but this one stood out. I was also hoping the $10.35 piece of carrot cake would be amazing, but it was just okay--very sweet and not particularly memorable. Overall, it didn't feel like a $50 meal.

This review is long overdue. Revel isn't just a restaurant to us. It's comfort. It's familiarity…read more It's community. It's truly that place "where everybody knows your name." What started as simple random dinners turned into my and my husband's standing Friday night tradition at the bar with Z - and that's entirely because of the people at Revel. First things first, the food is consistently delicious. The service is unmatched. But what makes this place extraordinary is that the service doesn't stay transactional. It turns into something much more personal. It turns into family. The team has taken the time to get to know us and more importantly, they've shown genuine love and care toward our daughters. From the moment you're greeted by Lauren or Coco, you know you're in for a great experience. They are warm, welcoming, and effortlessly kind. Sidney and Daniel are truly special. They are incredibly attentive, thoughtful, and genuine in a way that cannot be taught. Our daughters, especially our youngest, absolutely adore them and ask for them by name. That kind of connection speaks volumes. And then there's Z. Our Friday nights at the Revel bar simply would not be the same without him. Z IS THE reason this became our tradition. What started as great service turned into a friendship, and now feels like family. Z has an incredibly kind heart. He is attentive, intuitive, and deeply cares about the people he serves. He notices everything, looks out for his patrons, and goes out of his way to make everyone feel safe, seen, and valued. We truly cannot say enough about him. He, too, has gotten to know our girls and makes them feel special on days we have dinner as a family. Z: you are one of a kind!!! While this review highlights a few individuals, the entire team deserves recognition. Dylan, David (our favorite lunch bartender), Giovani, Kyle, Michael (Mikey), and Kevin all contribute to making Revel such a special place.

The deep-fried squid (basically calamari) is just as good -- light, crispy, and not overly greasy. It's the kind of snack you order "to share" and then end up guarding. And you can't leave without trying their soft serve. The fish-shaped cone is fun on its own, but the unique soft serve flavors make it special. It's creative, delicious, and something you can't find anywhere nearby. It's heartbreaking that they're closing sometime March. Places that put this much care into both flavor and creativity deserve better. If you've ever thought about trying it, now is the time. Local gems like this don't come around often -- and they shouldn't disappear quietly.

Stopping in this weekend, Uji Time Dessert was not quite what I expected…read more I went in thinking they sold ice cream but I'd term their soft serve solidly frozen yogurt, with the ice cream they sell being Moochi. The soft serve had an intensely creamy flavor with a high milk content and while the honey enjoyed his Thai milk tea boba, the style of my mango cup was not for me (although the fish cone option is very cute). We ordered from a tablet at the front and the service was prompt and friendly. I'd love to see them add in some outside seating as beyond the Starbucks, there's no seating in this shopping center. All in all, we may come back to order food but sadly it just wasn't a good match for the type of ice cream I enjoy.
