Overall our experience was good, but I don't think I would use them again. A little background: It was a super hot day, and I felt bad for the movers. They didn't seem to have water or proper PPE for the weather. The positive: Movers were on time and ready to work! Items were moved carefully, but they probably could have used a third worker based on the items we had. I feel I was transparent with how much items we had including heavy items. The negative: Two movers were not enough based on the items we had including heavy items. The move took much longer than expected. Movers seemed really irritated the whole time, which I can't tell if it was from the heat or we did something wrong. Movers also left garbage behind and we had to clean up after. Usually the moving company will follow up after to see how things went, but we never heard from Nancy. Nancy also said she would come to check in during the move, but never did. We paid, and it was done. I think overall, it was a fine experience, but not to the level of other moving companies I've worked with before. Based on the more recent reviews, it looks like some improvements have been made which is great!

They wrapped everything carefully, especially my glass display cases, and it all arrived in one piece. At the new place they helped me figure out furniture placement and didn't mind shuffling things around until it worked. Good sense of humor, too, which made the day go by fast. One of them strained his back partway through and still finished the job. Tip for others: I only booked two movers for a full truck, which was my mistake. Get a bigger crew and you'll save a lot of time. Would hire them again.

But when it came time for payment, they basically strong armed/guilt tripped me into paying them a considerable amount over the quoted price as a "tip". They took about 1 hour to move an organized small studio and just under 2 hours to move my lesser organized 1 BR. The bulk our time was spent at our new building which required more travel time between the truck and the unit. These guys were optimal and had excellent strategizing and problem solving across all three buildings (which were all different). They were also thorough in minimizing damage to our belongings via wrapping and care. This team set a new standard for me and I'd hire them again.

It's unfortunate because I wanted to give this guy a chance. But once trust is broken I WILL NOT REFER ANY BUSINESS TO THIS LOWLIFE. Again to this day he still has t returned my $100 not given back my shrink wrap. Update Clayton the owner reply's after blocking my attempts/Calls He calls me sick and a liar (very professional) he also states that I paid him for 1300 (false) to move furniture from Concord to Antioch (tops 45 mins) & within the same statement he makes claims that I wanted him to work for free ? You removed and tore furniture apart including the Tvs. Notice how he didn't clear up disappearing with my furniture for hours claiming to have run out of gas but used the excuse to go through my personal belongings and take my items! Thank god for calls being tracked and the camera footage which shows what he left with but didn't return. He doesn't present contracts because he's not legally able to. I hope that you get well and stop taking advantage of our communities to support your drug habit. Shame on you!

We paid a lot ($300+) for each "crate" and expected fully constructed wooden boxes, but what arrived for each "crate" was a poorly constructed wooden rectangle to place the art in and some additional wood pieces to put each side to secure it - but it was in no way what was promised and needed a lot of extra layers to be even partially secure and protected. They were supposed to be fully crated on all sides.

Miscommunication regarding storage - I was told that storage could be arranged at my destination for a month. I was planning to use that month to hunt for apartments. But at the end, this promise was reneged. 2. Exact delivery date was communicated at the very last moment - For the longest time, I was told that the delivery can happen on one of two days. It's very hard for a working professional like me to ask for time off on two days in advance. Apart from these things everything was spot on. When a week before our move we needed to change a date by two weeks because of construction delays, that was not a problem. When at the last minute we asked if we can add a piano to the list of moved items, that was fine as well. But most importantly was the care the guys took with our items! They wrapped every piece in the soft blanket and added plastic wrapping outside to keep in place. They stacked items in the way that nothing would get damaged. On delivery, they were on time and moved everything to designated rooms and assembled everything we needed! No scratches or damages in the house when moved out or moved in! All the horror stories I heard from friends who have moved before and I was so worried about - not the case with this team! Highly recommend!
