I love aesthetic coffee spots but I need the quality to match the ambiance. I ordered the matcha einspanner and sat down as I watched my drink being made. First of all, they say they use ceremonial grade matcha however Im not sure if they realize that the quality of matcha is compromised when its premade, left in a bottle inside a refrigerator for who knows how long. It was not individually prepared as ceremonial matcha is intended. No whisking of matcha powder with hot water, nada. Just premade matcha liquid stirred with milk. Honestly thats so disappointing and matches the lack of matcha taste. I will say that the cream top was yummy, but thats about it. Maybe theyre making the matcha this way cause its "easier" for staff and more "time efficient" but I'll gladly wait an extra few minutes (which shouldn't take that long to make, I do it at home also) if it means the quality is better. Looks nice in pics but honestly nothing special. I hope the owners take into consideration of actually preparing the matcha for individual customers correctly. read more

This was one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had locally!!! I had the hot Americano with vanilla einspanner(spelling??). So good I went back the next day and tried a hot coffee with salted caramel foam and THAT was delicious too!!!! I wish the hours were longer or earlier but I'll take what I can get! Also the staff was friendly! The baked goods look really yummy too! Ambiance is cool, quick-casual. This would be a great place to stop before going for a walk at the park across the street! This place is easily the best coffee and matcha in Orange County. I think the only reason they get bad reviews is because of hours. The hours suck here. Not sure why they're not open until later in the day. I feel like way more people would come in the afternoons. Every time we go in the area around 6pm this spot is closed. The area is very outgoing and gets crowded in the afternoon so they should stay open. Everything else besides the hours is top notch read more

Love this new coffee shop in Brea. Quality beans. Milk is the perfect temperature and texture. My go to is a cappuccino with whole milk. Did not disappoint. Esthetics of the shop is great. Large table seating 6 with ample chargers in the back where you pick up your drinks. Ample seating with small tables and chargers on the walls. Matcha taste wasn't that prominent, mostly tasting milk and cream. I would not go here for matcha. $7 Matcha drink that was premixed, not hand whisked fresh. - Vanilla Einspanner:3/5. Bitter. The cream tastes lightly sweet only, so when i mixed all together, it made the drink slightly sweet. - Ham Croissant 6/5: best one i ever had. My first time trying gruyere cheese. Consequently, I returned to inquire about changing my order. The staff asked for my thoughts on the guava, and I politely expressed my opinion. I then opted for the matcha with a foam top. The lady, whom I presumed to be the owner, requested my feedback on the matcha. After receiving my drink, I took a seat outside to catch up with my friend. Before departing, I went back inside to share my feedback with the lady, as I approached her and started to share my feedback as she had requested, she simply ignored me and she merely glanced at her employee, who was very courteous and thanked me. Parking was also tough--it was overly packed, and the drink sizes felt too small for the price. The highlight for me, though, was the pastry. The espresso was smooth and not bitter, the steam on the oat milk was good as well. The camellia flavor is hard to describe and almost gives the latte a tea-taste. The ambiance is definitely the main aspect of this coffee shop. Don't sleep on the coffee tho, their menu ranges from 6$-8$ which is very typical for a coffee shop in this area with the quality of coffee. The cups are smaller than usual but nonetheless, really good coffee. Amazed by the cleanliness! The barista makes sure to wipe every surface after customers leave the area. The music is not too loud which is perfect. There is an area to get work done, but the seating is crammed. This is definitely a hidden gem. Clean plaza, nice parking, good location. Staff is pretty nice, welcoming, but also not fake nice. The only issue is probably the hours, so go early. Obviously if you're not on time don't be a bitch and own up to it. read more
