You can tell they put a lot of thought and care into the interior design of the coffee shop. The warm woods, clean lines, warm lighting, and tree make the environment feel inviting and alive. The small tables and seating make it ideal for conversations, but too small for studying or working. We tried the ham and gruyere croissant. It was warmed, toasty, and flaky. No complaints with the croissant. The matcha is large batched, so it may have oxidized by the time you order it, but this also means you don't have to wait for your matcha latte. I asked what their grade of matcha they used, and they said organic, so not a clear answer on that. The espresso may have not been dialed properly as the two different lattes we ordered were too bitter and acidic. We were not able to taste the toffee, sea salt, or vanilla in either lattes. read more

This is the absolute worst location for a coffee shop, if you have an hour and a half to spare to grab an iced latte, then go ahead and order here. The coffee is mediocre and the parking is horrendous. Come here if you would wanna waste your time. I came to grab a drip coffee this morning (first time here). Drip was ok, it'd be great if there was half n half, but not a big deal. Lemon scone was nice. There was a barista on shift and he was the only one on shift, line to the door and he still was very courteous, and was hustling taking the orders and getting them out. This new coffee shop is located next to Omomo! They're in their soft opening so they urge people to be open minded during their visit. I tried the Vanilla Einspanner, Camellia Latte, and the Sea Salt Toffee Latte. I personally enjoyed all the drinks and it was nice to try this location at least once. I'd recommend the Vanilla Einspanner if you prefer a drink that is creamy but not sweet. The interior is beautifully decorated, but I wouldn't recommend it for studying because the tables are tiny. read more

Located in the plaza right next to Omomo loved the aesthetics walking in. They close at 2 daily so we had just made it in time. The service was fast for the amount of people in line. Drinks came out quickly as well we ordered the Yuzu Cold drip which was a solid 10/10. I normally don't like yuzu coffee drinks of any kind but this one was definitely my favorite of the two. The second drink we got was the Guava cold foam. I wasn't the biggest fan of the guava but it went down fine. I love aesthetic coffee spots but I need the quality to match the ambiance. I ordered the matcha einspanner and sat down as I watched my drink being made. First of all, they say they use ceremonial grade matcha however Im not sure if they realize that the quality of matcha is compromised when its premade, left in a bottle inside a refrigerator for who knows how long. It was not individually prepared as ceremonial matcha is intended. No whisking of matcha powder with hot water, nada. Just premade matcha liquid stirred with milk. Honestly thats so disappointing and matches the lack of matcha taste. I will say that the cream top was yummy, but thats about it. Maybe theyre making the matcha this way cause its "easier" for staff and more "time efficient" but I'll gladly wait an extra few minutes (which shouldn't take that long to make, I do it at home also) if it means the quality is better. Looks nice in pics but honestly nothing special. I hope the owners take into consideration of actually preparing the matcha for individual customers correctly. read more

This place is easily the best coffee and matcha in Orange County. I think the only reason they get bad reviews is because of hours. The hours suck here. Not sure why they're not open until later in the day. I feel like way more people would come in the afternoons. Every time we go in the area around 6pm this spot is closed. Love this new coffee shop in Brea. Quality beans. Milk is the perfect temperature and texture. My go to is a cappuccino with whole milk. Did not disappoint. Esthetics of the shop is great. Large table seating 6 with ample chargers in the back where you pick up your drinks. Ample seating with small tables and chargers on the walls. I met up with a friend here. I initially ordered the guava cold brew (cold brew with foam top is my go to drink). However, I found the guava drink to be excessively sweet. Consequently, I returned to inquire about changing my order. The staff asked for my thoughts on the guava, and I politely expressed my opinion. I then opted for the matcha with a foam top. The lady, whom I presumed to be the owner, requested my feedback on the matcha. After receiving my drink, I took a seat outside to catch up with my friend. Before departing, I went back inside to share my feedback with the lady, as I approached her and started to share my feedback as she had requested, she simply ignored me and she merely glanced at her employee, who was very courteous and thanked me. Parking was also tough--it was overly packed, and the drink sizes felt too small for the price. The highlight for me, though, was the pastry.
