By far the best tactical gun shop in Vegas. Always well stocked and finely curated. Operated and run by people with real world experience who sell products they believe in. You may find other tactical outfitters in town with good stock, who may also have used their products in real world scenarios. What sets DNA Tactical apart is a level of customer service that is, unfortunately, not seen very often in the gun industry. They have always been kind and patient with me and with every other customer I've seen come through. I appreciate being able to ask questions of the highly experienced and trained staff and not being talked down to, but instead having my beginner, immediate, and higher level questions all given the same level of respect. If you've been to many gun shops, you probably know what I'm talking about and the level of customer service you can usually expect. There's a reason you will see so many police officers come by the shop to get outfitted or to talk with the guys at the shop. They know their stuff and officers trust them with their equipment. That should say a lot. Seriously, stop wasting your time googling questions and reading forum posts from 2004. Go down and trust that the guys at DNA will set you up and treat you right! read more

A word of advice. If you purchase anything here be sure to inspect your "brand new" firearm. Do a field strip and safely Inspect the barrel, trigger group, etc........ I purchased a supposed brand new pistol here and found out it was "not new" at the range. There was a squib round in the barrel and I was SOL with no way to prove I bought it that way. I got lazy and trusted the pistol brand name and the store. Don't be like me and inspect everything! read more

These guys are the real deal. I have sent may people to them for work and gear and I have always had great results. Special shout out to Scott for 2 things. He was able to get a "destroyed" AR7 back up and running. As well he is building 2 Shotguns, based off of Wilson Scattergun Technologies for me. The color is perfect and I can't wait to shoot them in my next LE class John J Bebirian Instructor Green Valley Range read more

This place is quite the store experience. They keep all of their firearms in another locked room away from the general retail space. They have a ton of firearms here, perhaps more than any other two stores in Las Vegas combined. Safety of all firearms in this store was properly considered and adhered to first and foremost so it was a great initial experience. The staff that helped me, Jennifer I believe, was very friendly and gave me a lot of great details about nearly every firearm I asked about. The occasional sales they had here were also a great value. For the retail items though, it was frighteningly expensive, hence the four stars. If you're buying a firearm, you should definitely consider the friendly staff and great value from sale items. Review update for June 2018. Five stars. I came back several more times and they're awesome. Good people. read more

Been in a couple times had a rem 700 was ready to give up on. Gave me some things to try and now we are back in business.

I bought 2 30 round magazines for my HK416. Loaded them up with bullets and one of them jammed up after putting in about 15 rounds into the mag... I unloaded it, and reloaded, same thing... Would not take the capacity of bullets right out of the package without force. I took it back the next day, and they said we need to call HK. They would NOT give me my money back or just swap it out as I had another new one ready to go on the counter! A week later, they finally got ahold of HK, and says that HK needs the serial number off the gun, so I gave it to them. Got a call back a few days later saying that no such serial number exists on an HK.... Called HK, they said if I would have bought it from them they would swap it out, and also said dont ever deal with DNA Tactical again, if they wont swap it out, or give you your money back! Called DNA back and they said they cant do anything... So if you buy ANYTHING at DNA Tactical, they said they cannot warranty everything they sale. In other words, if you buy something from them, and its broke, YOU'RE STUCK WITH IT, as they will NOT return it, nor swap it out. DO NOT SHOP HERE! BIGTIME SCAM/RIPOFF read more

My friend is a marine who is deploying to Syria and he was asking me about any gun shops in the area. I guess the marines allowed him to purchase gear/equipment to take with him to Syria. I told him to check out DNA tactical. He came back to my place with all the gear he had bought and he looked like a kid on christmas morning. He told me that DNA tactical had all the gear that he needed with the exception of a specific radio pouch, which I assume no body really carries. If this shop carries everything that a marine needs to go to combat, then it is good enough for me. read more

I was referred here by a co-worker to purchase a rifle. Upon arrival I was greeted by Chris. I explained to Chris what I needed, and he was very knowledgeable with the rifles. Chris even helped me assemble my new rifle and gave me tips and recommendations about my purchase. The reason. I chose DNA is due to the fact I am not very familiar with the different types of AR-15 brands. The price was just right I left with a AR15 sig-sauer don't tread on me model and the dig saucer Romeo 5 optic. They helped me a lot I would recommend to the next customer. They answer any questions or concerns you may have. I am happy with my purchase and will definitely be back to buy my next firearm here. I shopped around the valley and they definitely gave me the best price! read more

WOW! This is a top notch well run business. Every employee is courteous, professional, knowledgeable and super nice. Everything we needed was in stock! We were helped by a very nice man Jonathan. He spent all the time we needed. He was full of knowledge on every product we were interested in and he happily shared his knowledge with us and NOT ONCE did he push us to buy anything. Obviously they are very busy so would recommend calling ahead to inquire whether you need an appointment. They have plenty of parking. I emailed them twice and the response time is very impressive! They have a great website and a great online store you must check out. I saw you can get a virtual consultation and quotes online too. I am finding out the best nicest most decent people own/work at gun shops (sure tells you a lot!)  We left impressed and with everything we went in for. You must make sure you say "hi" to Bonnie and Clyde, the coolest cats you'll ever meet! We will definitely return. read more

DNA is the best shop in Southern Nevada (Las Vegas/Henderson). I have traveled extensively for work and have visited many shops in other states. DNA is the best. Great selection and well-stocked. What is even more impressive is the staff. Their knowledge is what makes a visit to DNA a total customer experience. These guys are smart, knowledgeable and practical. They know how to communicate with you about your needs and wants and share their experience. I found this very helpful. I have always felt that the staff was patient and understanding. I felt comfortable asking questions and I have never felt talked down to. I trust them with all of my purchases. I have even use the services of their Gunsmith. RUDE! The "lady" that works there is horrible. Mean, condescending, just plain rude.

I ordered a firearm and picked it up from the great staff at DNA Tactical. They were wonderful. Very friendly and professional. Highly recommend for all of your firearm needs. read more

Went in there looking for a boonie hat and they said they don't carry them. That's odd for a tactical store not to carry boonie hats..... the girl working at the front entrance tried to rush me out telling me to go to sports wherever that is... So for this first visit, I'm going to have to throw them one star... the interaction really messed it up for me. read more

I purchased my first gun here and I love it. Both the guys are very informative, helpful and patient.

If you want one on one instruction or education about your purchase this is the place to be. I came here thinking about buying a gun and they took the time to understand my needs, gave me the pros and cons on my top three choices, and overall gave me a lot to think about. This wasn't your typical product-pushing retail experience. They're experts who want to share their knowledge and earn your repeat business. They believe in the brands and products they carry by the knowledge they have of each product. This gives me reassurance knowing that whatever I buy from here is going to have high quality. I'll definitely be back! Been back many times and service is consistent. read more

First time coming to this store and wasn't treated fairly. A lady helped us or should I say not really helped just made a sale. We asked for ammo and she was rude the whole time she didn't inform us on what ammo is best she just assumed we knew which type we wanted for our gun. I asked for 9mm rounds for my gun and said I don't want hollow points and she asked self defense or range and I repeated my self I just want normal range and she still didn't understand. I would not recommend this store or to my group of friends who go out shooting... if I come to a store I expect to be treated with knowledge and respect. read more

Very friendly staff. I brought in a pistol to be worked on and Scott, the gunsmith, said he could do the work while I waited. Took no more than 20 minutes. I am so happy I found this place!!! This Gun Store is a hidden gem... OMG... One of the best gun stores I've ever visited. Can't believe I hadn't found them earlier... Great firearm selection (one of the best I have ever seen in one location in a hidden room, wink...wink) and gear... gear... and more gear (Top notch brands and very fairly priced). Wish more gun stores were like this one and took pride in the selection of inventory displayed!!! Store is extremely clean, well organized and easy to find stuff! A bit disappointed they didn't have a larger selection of Night Vision products considering all the duty gear they had, but definitely stocked full with almost everything else you can imagine. Rarely write reviews, but kinda hard not to after my visit. Hats off to these guys as staff is very professional, true Subject Matter Experts and they have a real Gunsmith onsite. Rare to find that these days, mostly Armor's that can do basic repairs and sight installs at best, but in this case, a true machinist. If you're in the market or need a good store, this is the place to go. I can't image shopping anywhere else after my visit. Hope they stay around for many years to come as hard to find great stores like this in today's gun climate. Cheers DNA... Keep up the good work! read more

This place is amazing. Everything you could want in one place. It is so clean and organized and FULLY STOCKED!!!! It's so packed with gear you can't even see the walls. I normally don't tell people about places like this because I want it all to myself, but the staff are so amazing and the owner I met was a top notch guy. Prices are low but quality is high. Cheaper then what I could find online and you get to feel it in your hands before you buy. Gun selection was awesome gear selection is phenomenal. JCON and Cherokee made the time I spent there fun and easy. This place is the real deal. read more
