The ( who is also the Head Mechanic) is Knowledgeable, Trustworthy and Knows his way around Cars ( Trucks & other Vehicles) Like No other. The work is done Fast and Completely. The Prices are Fair and Service Top Notch. Always recommend these Mechanic's to all who ask for Reliable Service that is done Right. They always make sure ( Before any work is done to call to make sure you want the service), Never stick you with unwanted repairs. When you get your car back you know it is Fix ( Both Correctly and Completely), and if there is a issue with Service ( which is SO VERY RARE) they will correct it. My brother, who was a mechanic for 30+ years, recommended me to DLJ for a wheel alignment. I walked in and the lady at the front desk was so friendly. She told me the price and that the job can be done within 90 mins. I told her that I was going to drop off some grocery at home (purchased at Costco across the street and needed to put it in the frig.) When I got back she told me to go straight in. I did not know she placed me in a queue and allowed me to go before everyone who showed up after me and was still waiting there. That was a nice touch. The price was right, the job was fast, the worker took his time to tell me what was done and the business is family owned. Small, local, family owned business is a plus for me since I own one. The first time I took my car here was when I had an electrical problem. I had taken it to several other shops which after many hours of checking could not find the problem. I had heard about the excellent work DLJ does and when I took my car there, not only did they confirm there was an electrical problem, they found it in less than an hour. I understand that not all problems can be found this fast, but I WAS amazed. Even though the repair was pricey and took some time to fix, it was fair and done by excellent mechanics which were well worth the money. I have not been back for the same problem twice ( I guess its just luck). I now take my car here for every need. I was the most fortunate kid to grow up having a Dad as a mechanic! Once my Dad could not longer do that anymore, he was consulted as an expert diagnostic. I also have a brother in law who is also a mechanic and guided me to where he said all the cops go to, DLJ Enterprises Auto Shop, where I met Dave. There is not enough space here to express the praises of him and his incredible team of workers. A place where they are HONEST and are geuinely Concerned for their customer and expertise work. Greatest service in the 5 boroughs. Went all over looking for a quality repair shop and God bless I found DLJ. All other places were trying to rip me off but DLJ was honest and fair. David Jaron, the lead mechanic, explained everything to me starting with the problem and how he would go ahead and fix it in terms I could understand. Then he gave me a great price. It was fixed a timely fashion and I was above and beyond happy with the job that was done. David Jaron is not only a great mechanic, but a great person and a really nice guy. I've had a ton of experiences getting fleeced by mechanics in the past: because I was young, or didn't know what a clutch plate looked like, or whatever. Dave at DLJ is not like those past mechanics at all. Sure, he's a master mechanic, but more than that, he's honest. I spoke with Dave and they have the latest wheel alignment equipment and the staff is very knowledgeable. The staff truly cares about the customers. After taking my jeep in for an alignment, they found several other issues with the jeep that needed fixing. They are very honest and upfront which I was relieved and impressed with. Went in for an auto inspection, and needed a new thermostat. instead of using a cheap after market item, Dave allowed me to purchase Authentic Land Rover pieces online and just charged me for the hour labor to install it. BEST SHOP EVER! I had a doctors appointment and I needed to get my two rear tires changed. Within 10 minutes they took me right in. The car was finished very quickly and Dave told me my inspection was expired. He did an inspection right away! Best shop ever. Two thumbs up !! read more
