We recently had DKI out to take care of some ceiling water damage and loved the remediation crew so much, I mentioned to the foreman that I wished they could put our ceiling back together as well. He informed me they had a separate department that DID reconstruction work. We were very excited to hire the same company (I know that sounds idiotic but it's genuinely true). Robert G came to the unit with his moisture sensing equipment and provided a complete review and discussion of alternatives and the procedure. He kept me informed of the process until completion. We were assigned to DKI-Restotech by our insurance company to repair and restore damage in our kitchen related to a leak. (PSA: hoses connecting water source to refrigerator need to be changed every three-five years!). The water pipe under our kitchen started leaking which caused a lot of water damage in our kitchen. About half of the cabinets had to be replaced along with the drywall about halfway up each wall. DKI Restotech were very communicative about each phase of the restoration and answered all of my questions. They rebuilt the cabinets and drywall and now you could never tell that anything happened at all! They even did some minor tape and texture work in another part of the house while they were here which was great! They came out several times to take care of some concerns and minor things and made the whole process very easy and enjoyable. I would use them again and recommend them to others! read more

This is the second review we've written for DKI Restotech within the past six months. They assisted us with repairs related to a water leak several months ago. We had a second leak and, as a result, required complete restoration of a walk-in shower, bathroom floor, and drywall and painting a bedroom. We immediately asked the insurance company to utilize DKI Restotech for this as all aspects of our first experience with them were so positive. As with our first job, John Williams came to do the initial assessment. We greatly appreciated his promptness and support with completing the assessment and providing all the necessary documentation to the insurance company. He is a pleasure to work with and a helpful, calming presence in the midst of the frustration of needing unexpected house repairs. Shawn Fulford and Mike were prompt and helpful in scheduling the work. Mike remained in regular communication. He was consistently available, responsive, and supportive. We had a water leak into our MBR closet. I called our insurance company and with our deductible being $5000 we wanted to have the work done and not get them involved. The insurance company gave me a list of names but said they had good experiences with Restotech so I called them. They had a man, Guillermo out in a matter of minutes. He set up the blowers and came back on Sunday to removed the damaged carpet padding and closet panels. Eddy Perez came out on Tuesday to look over the damage and what needed to be done. He had a crew of three out to our house on Thursday as they needed to order materials and completed the job in one day. We did have a very minor issue on one of the panels and they were out the next day to correct the issue. I could not be happier with the service and job they did in such a short period of time. It started with a pipe leak in my kitchen wall. I reported the leak to my insurance company at 7:00 a.m. in the morning. By 9:30 a.m. Restotech was at my house. The leaking pipe with sealed off and I was able to turn the water back on by noon that day. The following day, they came out and rerouted the water pipe, set up fans, heaters and a dehumidifier. Once they determined that the walls were dry and there wasn't any mold they sealed the walls and patched and painted everything. They know sooner completed that project, when a slab leak occurred in my living room and dining room. Once again, they were out to the home quickly. Once again the service was prompt and courteous and very thorough. Johnathan was my project manager and he kept me informed every step of the way. My positive experiences with Restotech are too numerous to mention. I highly recommend them for any type of water leak issues. All of their services are top notch. Issues come up on my job that they contracted to repair and it's been almost one year, with the insurance company and their 3rd party that manages contractors involved, and they still refuse to correct an issue covered under the 5 year warranty. It's unbelievable how many times I've called and been told they would respond, then receive excuse after excuse, finally complete silence on the issue. I've taken three days off work to be here for their guy to arrive and he never has. Promote customer service and fail to deliver. Unfortunate. read more
