I was thrilled and had them work up a "deal". They came back with a final price that included a bunch of extras some of which the sales manager said were nonnegotiable. I inquired about one of those and he couldn't even explain what the benefit was to the customer. Then to add more insult he appraised my trade in at $2500 when two other dealers offered $5000 more. He said the 4WD unit was out as the reason when I've been driving through heavy snow over the last 4 weeks. The final result was a price that was nearly $12,000 more than the advertised price and within $500 of the full MSRP for a leftover 2025 with $5000 in Ford rebates! These clowns don't know how to deal in good faith! BIG PASS on Kerry Ford!

Test drove a car and the brakes need to be replaced. Rotors included. The sales manager tried to tell us that it was the tires, and also tried to say that the rear brakes only engage about 20% of the time that that could not possibly be a problem. Also tried to tell us that the price that the vehicle is set at is considering the defects that need to be addressed. This is a safety issue. Do not buy a vehicle with a safety issue! It's quite evident they didn't care all they wanted to do was sell the car no thank you. Not worth the 90 minute drive to test drive.

At the time of sale, I was told the vehicle had a rebuilt title due to one minor accident. After the purchase, I learned that this was not accurate. The vehicle had actually been in multiple accidents, including damage to the frame. Based on this information, the vehicle never should have been represented as a minor rebuild, nor do I believe it should have been offered for sale in the condition it was in. In addition, I was explicitly told that the brakes were in good working condition. That also turned out to be false. Worst of all, after owning the car for only about three weeks, the engine completely failed, leaving the vehicle unusable. From that point forward, I made multiple good-faith attempts to contact the dealership by phone and message to address these serious issues. Every attempt was ignored. I never received a single response. The combination of misrepresentation, safety issues, mechanical failure, and total lack of communication afterward has left me with significant financial loss and no accountability from the dealer. I do not recommend doing business with this dealership under any circumstances. Buyers should proceed with extreme caution.

After doing my research on EAG I felt confident that the car is being sold from a very reputable car company. So I decided to contact EAG for additional information on the car. I sent an email and hoped to negotiate on the pricing. The car was about 10% higher than what I wanted to pay (compared to other similar listings on the internet). EAG was firm on their price and fully explained why. They are not just flipping cars. All of their cars are get a comprehensive inspection and get a full overhaul to bring the car back to new as possible. My car received about $8-$10k ***retail value*** worth of services and parts (Valve adjustment, oil pan gasket, belts, etc). All paperwork was done through email and FedEx. I was warned that the "rejuvenation" process can take several weeks before I can take delivery of the car. During this process, I received regular updates with pictures. When the car was ready. I booked my plane ticket (San Francisco to Cincinnati). The owner of the company pick me and my friend from the airport. We were treated to breakfast and a tour of EAG. We got an up close and personal tour of museum quality super rare cars (M1, Z1, M3 Lightweight, etc) After the tour, I finally pick up the keys to my dream car! The car was better than I imagined. The doors shut tight. No rattles. Everything felt solid. Everything functioned as it should (wipers, heated seats, AC, sunroof). I cannot believe that this was an 18 year old car. I chose not to ship the car back to California because I wanted to drive cross country to fully experience and bond with my *new* car. About 20 mins into our journey home, the tire monitoring warning and DSC lights came on. I immediately called EAG, and they told me to come back to the shop so they can look at the issue. They found a faulty sensor on one of the wheels and replaced it at no cost. We drove the car for over 2,400 miles, 36 hours behind the wheel, across 11 states, 4 time zones. The car was absolutely perfect and performed as designed. Once again, I cannot believe that this is an 18 year old car. EAG did a fantastic job and I am extremely happy with my purchase. Bottom line: You get what you pay for!

The afternoon of 4/11/24 I saw a Suburban online at Jake Sweeney Chevrolet that I was interested in. My husband called and they said to call back, after 2 on 4/12/24, as the vehicle was being serviced. My husband then calls the sales person the following day (4/12/24) and told them we would be in after I was off work that evening. As we are getting ready to leave the house (4:15), the same gentlemen (David Shelton) calls and asks if we are on our way. We stated we would be there about 5, as it was almost an hour drive for us. Upon arrival, the guy comes up to us and states "Let's get this done and over with", at this point I look at my husband in complete shock, that he said that. I mentioned that we were planning on trading in my car, he then proceeds to roll his eyes. Again, I was just speechless. He asks that we pull our car around and meet him on the other side of the building, which we do. When we get out, he takes my car key, gets in my car to get the information, then meets us inside. When we got to his desk, he said "This is not going to be a good outcome". At this point, I was ready to leave, but my husband wanted to look at numbers as he knows I needed a new car. He starts asking questions about the amount I owe, if we can put any money down, then stated maybe we should try to look at a different car. We then tell him no, that we drove an hour to see about this suburban. He starts plugging things in and trying to, I guess do his job, but then realizes he lost the keys to my car. I just laughed as I could not believe this was happening. Once my keys were found and they were able to take it back to get an offer, the guy says "I hope you guys planned on putting quite a bit of money down." I said "Well we can put some money down, but we would like to see what we can figure out" He then states, which this was what did me in, "Honestly it's the end of the day and I am ready to get out of here, so maybe this just is not the right vehicle for you" I could not believe what was actually happening. Of course, after dealing with this, my husband was not happy with the way he was speaking to us and they exchanged a few words and we left. I was almost in tears, because I was just so frustrated and embarrassed that he spoke to us that way. We may be young, but we are probably better off than most people our age or even older. I could have easily went in there and paid cash for the suburban, but am dead set on trading in my car, as we don't need 3 vehicles between the two of us. I have never once had such an awful experience at a dealer. UPDATE: When the gentlemen was out looking at my car, he was using an umbrella. When my husband walked to the drivers side and was telling me goodbye today (4/13/24) he looked at the roof of my car and there is a large scratch and other scuffs from the guys umbrella! We have called, they asked us to send over the pictures, so we did and have yet heard back.

Stopped into Jake Sweeney Mitsubishi on a weekday evening when I decided I finally needed to purchase a new car. One thing brought me into the dealership - The offer of $5k for my auto trade-in. I would have been lucky to get $300 for my trade-in so this was a key factor in the decision to buy Mitsubishi. When I stopped in, it was rainy and getting close to closing time. I decided to check out a few vehicles that fit my requirements, skip test driving for the evening and collect information on pricing, warranties and come back at another time. I worked with Nolan during my visit(s) and had an open line of communication via phone, text, and email to answer any questions I had. I returned the next afternoon and took a solo test drive because of social distancing concerns. I took a week to ultimately decide to buy my new Mitsubishi and did a second test drive with my salesman to make sure I had a grasp on all the features within. Found through cargurus.com that Jake Sweeney had a car i was interested in. I live in WV, and the dealership was in OH, so our entire business was conducted via phone and email. The car price was in context of other Hilanders i had seen per year/mileage. From the get-go the sales person, Jason Vaughn was communicative, and preemptively sent me a video walk through, showing the inside and outside of the car. He was very responsive and we were able to get a deal done via the phone. There weren't a bunch of random fees, the only additional thing was a protective coating they added to the car (~$300) and a doc processing fee (~$400), which, honestly i was fine with as i was expecting more in the way of random fees, having had that experience with other dealers. They also gave me a discount that essentially waived those fees. Jason pointed me in the direction of a reputable car transport company, which worked with our schedule to deliver our new car in about a week at a competitive price (around $700). The thing for me that makes this a 5 star rather than a 4 star review, was that post the sale, Jason continued to be communicative and help us. I had a title issue (needed it to be an OR title for me and my wife, but we received an AND) which Jason researched and let me know that it came down to state regs and OH didnt have OR titles. I also had questions about the protective coating they added and he went out and sent me pics of the bottle so i could see what washes / waxes / coatings were compatible. Overall my bar for used car dealers is pretty low, but Jason and Jake Sweeny made the process of finding and buying my car easy and smooth, and surprisingly, still were communicative post sale. Would recommend this place and Jason Vaughn specifically as a good person to work with.
