Certainly nothing fancy looking from the outside, across the street from a rundown outlet mall. There was one guy working the bar and the deli. He was the bartender, cook, waiter and seemingly most everything else. However he was very nice and accommodating for us. We ordered two different sandwiches. All said they were very good food. Not a bad place to get a quick bite if you don't mind simple food in a bare minimum bar type environment.

The food here was really good albite slightly expensive. I was willing to spend a few more dollars for a good meal, so I'm okay with that. What I like about dining here is they truly make their own stuff. If I remember correctly, they also make their own pop, and dipping sauces, leaving Coke and Pepsi in the dust. My server was great, and my food was good, so I'd gladly come back here again when in the area. I know Birch Run isn't what it used to be, but I can almost always count on them having something to eat along with some places to shop at when I'm in the area. He dropped cookie crumbles on the cheese, picked it off, placed my sub into the oven and with his still gloved hands started sweeping the floor. I asked him if he would change his gloves before he touched my food again. You would have thought I had just yelled at him with the way he acted. I watched him carefully as he wrapped it even while I was paying with another employee. I was honestly worried that he would do something to my sandwich while I was not looking. Now to the service if I could I would fire Andrew who was working the drive thru window. He was so rude. I said I wanted a cheeseburger with just the condiments.. and when I proceeded to tell him which ones.. he said.. I know what condiments are. Then proceeded to get more nasty with me.. I wanted to drive off.. if you don't like working in fast food.. fine something better . Don't take it out on your customers.
