Divine is close to my house, so glad I found it. I read the reviews and the 1-2 ratings were more than 2 yrs old. I believe these are new owners so the recent reviews are much better. What I noticed is that the salon is quiet snd more relaxing. Okay so just based on my experience in the actual nail shop, I would have given this place a 4 stars. The employees were pretty nice, especially the one who did my actual nails. The only complaint I had was when I asked them to check out one of my nails because it wasn't glued down properly, they just brushed it off and said it was fine.. but it was not fine. Also, the lady told me I should have come on a weekday and not the weekend and they complained that they couldn't get a lunch because it was too busy. I totally understand being frustrated but it was kind of weird to have them complain to me about business. After I left, my nails were pretty cute, I got a nude acrylic powder full set, pretty straightforward. They were slightly crooked but I didn't complain. Fast forward to a few days after my nails were done, they started lifting almost immediately. I got this set for a friends wedding out of state so I didn't have time to go back and get them touched up. By day 5, three of my nails were easily lifting all the way up and started to become painful if I hit them because they were so fragile. By day 6, I popped them all off, one by one with no struggles whatsoever. Def don't recommend this place and I'm sad because it's so close to my home, but I won't be coming back here again. The name is very fitting for this nail spa! The music is very soft and the everyone here is so nice! I received a milk + honey pedicure which was decently priced and it came with wine as well. This is the best pedicure I've had in this area and will certainly be coming back as it was worth the price! She took great care of me and was sure to ask me if it was ok before proceeding to cut and trim. I appreciate that as everyone has different preferences for their pedicures and I was a first time guest. She was very detailed with the entire pedicure service and the massage was wonderful! The conversation was extremely nice as well. It's always nice when the owners take the time to get to know their guests! They let me take home the leftover milk + honey as well! How thoughtful. This was one of the best pedicures I've ever had. I was a walk-in, and they were accurate with my wait time (allowing me to go get my brows done in the meantime). Everyone working there was incredibly nice, and they had a lot of regular customers. The place was spotlessly clean, and each nail technician was very careful about keeping things sterile. Their spa pedicures are a steal at just $35. I think their cheapest ones are $25-30, but for the $35 one, you get a scrub, masque, paraffin dip, hot stone massage, and a great pedicure, with a lot of different polish choices, including OPI. If I lived in the area, I would definitely come back here regularly, especially since they have a loyalty program. read more

I think I found my favorite nail salon in Katy! My sister's wedding was coming up and my nails need some desperate, long overdue attention. I dropped by this place on a Wednesday afternoon since I was already in the area. It was a walk-in and I waited around 10mins before someone took care of me. The shellac mani was $27 and I asked for a design as well. The design is an additional $5. The service was great and the cost is pretty comparable to other salons. During my manicure, there were several other customers coming in for pedicures. So, it was clear that this place was popular among the locals. My mani lasted for around a week and a half (well at least till I started picking on it). For that time, I received several compliments on my nails and especially the design I had. They did a great job on my nails and I can't wait to come back for a pedicure here! read more

I am not one to usually write bad reviews because I believe you have to give people the benefit of the doubt. But the owner did a terrible job on my full set nails. Not only is one longer than the other the shape just wasn't what I was expecting and when I asked her to change it for me she was blaming the way my cuticle and the finger. Instead of attempting to fix it and she seemed very distractive and standing up a lot. I get it it's your company and it can get busy. But when you are having side conversation and stop what your doing just to chit chat it's unprofessional. Especially when I had dinner plans that evening. I had to tell her I was in a rush because she wouldn't stop having these side conversation with the technician. I shared a few picture example of the thickness and the length of the nails. I've gone to other nail techs in the past I have never encountered this is issue before. read more

This place is hit or miss with nail techs and the quality of work... I've had a great experience with a tech who is no longer there and a decent experience with Kim. V is the nail tech we all dread when going to these places, she tried to upsell everything multiple times, literally to a point where I will most likely never go back. Some of these women do not take NO for an answer. On top of it, was for sure one of the worst pedicures I've ever had. Waste of $30 something dollars. The cleanliness is also very questionable at this place I have higher expectations with covid and this place seems risky. read more

I have been going here for a while now, Lucy does my nails now, I was a little scared at first because I like my nails a certain way, but I will say that Lucy did NOT disappoint. She's very sweet and I like that she takes her time, but it is all worth it. I love the owner, V, super sweet too. This is my second time going to Divine nails and spa. I was not satisfied with my first time but since they are so close and convenient I gave them a second chance. I asked for a powder full set and color change on my feet. They were very courteous the whole time but the quality is subpar at best. I will never be going back. The prices do not match the quality. I was charged $35 for squaoval shape which is over average. I'm not sure what the nail technicians name was but she did a horrible job painting my nails. There are air bubbles and not even the whole nail is painted. My feet look streaky. I'm very unhappy. read more

It was easy making an appointment with the staff. They were ready to take me and my boyfriend when we got to the place with warm water for our pedis. They even adjusted the temp of the water. We got the $27 pedi which did the casual pedi with cuticle care and massage (with stone). My boyfriend is a pretty ticklish person so I was happy they were professional and kind when he was jumping all the over the place (especially since it was his first time getting a pedi). This place was pretty awesome . I went in as a walk-in with my friend who is a regular customer. They didn't make me wait long at all I'd say maybe 5 minutes. The place was real clean, the lady who did my shellac mani was careful and a perfectionist. She was careful in not cutting me, (which is a big deal for me, I hate when they file your nails at the cuticle and cut you) she also took her time with me, especially since I had acrylic with gel powder which was hard to remove . Hannah is the manager and, man, she gives the best massages! I go here very frequently. At one point I went multiple times a month and one week I went back to back days, because my back was stiff from work. She really knows how to work the spots that need to be worked on. I also get manicures and pedicures from here occasionally. This place is the first place that I've seen other men come in to get some kind of service regularly. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one. They don't have any special services catered just for men, but the simple treatments work just fine. read more

Management not interested in fair customer service. Please be careful with Miss Amy, she doesn't know when to stop to scratch, my big toe hurt for two days after she didn't want to leave some skin. Second I was in rush so I let her(Amy)removed my gel nails, she filed my nails with a machine, some of my nails already grown so I didn't have gel on that part, she filed anyway, I had almost red, yes she left with very thin layer of nail!! The worst was that I had to speak up and she did stop but she told manager about this in Vietnamese and they did not give an apology, a discount or anything. read more

I went in for a walk-in and had the most amazing facial ever from Hanna! It was so peaceful and relaxing. She even played music in the background while she was giving me a facial. The lady who was doing my manicure was really harsh, and when I was trying to ask don't put alcohol on my finger that was scratched and bleeding she didn't care. the older pedicure lady was nicer. The thing I don't like about this salon was they were asking too many questions about my personal life if I have kids where I am from?! why do you Need to know?! I just want my nails done that's all!! but when I started answering they started talking in Vietnamese and laughting made me feel very sick. I says I'm from Mongolia and they started saying Mongolia a lot and laughting at it. I would my go this place again. There are hundreds of other salon that simply do their job. read more

I'm not sure how someone can mess up a simple procedure such as removing shellac, but that was the case here. The initial lady who worked on removing them left bits and pieces still stuck on there. The kicker was when she asked me if I wanted to file them down a bit, and I said yes. She did one hand and never filed down the other one, so now my nails are different lengths :) Not to mention the shape on the ones that she filed are horrid. 2 stars because someone else managed to get all the shellac off since I mentioned it. read more

I decided to try this place out with a friend and we both made appointments. I waited 30 minutes before they even started on my nails. I got a manicure, which was done pretty well and then I got my eyebrows waxed and that was AWFUL...she waxed one side too much and they were not shaped properly.
