Went to try chrome nails for the first time. I'm sure it was my nail techs first time because she went around asking all of the other techs about it. She proceeded to cut into my finger multiple times with her nail file after I told her it was hurting, and then with the actual nail cuticle clipper cut into the side of the finger. It still very much hurts and is raw to the touch. I started bleeding while I was there and she just kept pouring alcohol and all sorts of stuff over the cut. The nails themselves are clumpy and messy. Lots of areas where the nail glue got on my fingers. Will not return. read more

I came in to get a pedicure, workers were sitting in the front. They greeted me and quickly sat me at a chair. 2 White ladies came after me and the workers offered them something to drink TWICE. I come here often, but everytime it seems the prices have increased. I paid 112$ for Powder Acrylic & one of the basic pedicures. I have got more intricate and more extreme services in the past and paid that much, but this time just didn't seem right. Truly felt like they were just trying to get money out of me. Came in super stressed and had to do my nails to feel better. When I came in, one of the first questions I got besides what color was, "DO YOU WORK?" I didn't see anyone else get that question or odd, attitudinal mannerisms. Her name Might be Vivian because that's what the drill said. First person on the right. All I know is that that left a bad taste in my mouth and you never know what ppl are going thru. Now! She did console me to a certain extent because I was upset when I was crying from a phone call. I give her that, but that question striked me as odd as hell. WHY IS THIS YOUR BUSINESS? I can pay you, right! The general demo that goes in there is like older Caucasian females around 40-60s and definitely felt unwanted not only from the ladies attending but the ladies working. "I'm not a girl, I'm a lady" is the last thing I remember to brush off the louder lady, maybe the owner. I am not your friend and you are not mine. I will never be your "girl". I don't like to overthink these kinds of encounters but it seems exactly how it sounds. On the plus side, she uses a great grade of acrylic. On the bad side, hold the arrogance/ignorance. My nail broke in three days and honestly I expected more with the weird attitude but yeah, it was for no reason. Tipped both persons 20 each. My pedicure lady (brown classy plaid outfit) was super nice, empathetic, and sweet. If it was up to me, I'd only have her service me. The rest has a crazy attitude. Oh and Vivian, if I hand you about 160 in cash. YOU MUST put it back in my hand. That's why I dropped your tip at your desk AND you kept hovering around me like a pest for a tip after I got my change on the desk. Never again. read more

horrible service! i told the lady i wanted an over lay and square shape. she cut my toes way to short ! i complained the entire time and even asked her to stop. i did not allow her to finish with the job of lotion, oiling, scrubbing. i asked for a manager and they said she was not available. they tried to charge me a full $130. i was not paying for that. i walked out paying $83 nails were plain. all i got was a refill and pedicure with shellac toes. im uploading the current photo and my usual pedicure desire. i wouldnt dare go back read more

This place is beautiful on the inside and has accommodating staff. I liked my pedicure it was a good experience. My nails however weren't shaped properly and looked quite uneven, the pedicure felt rushed. My nail polish also chipped quickly and just looked okay when applied. I tried their regular pedicure $23. Well, I have been going to this salon for over 2 years and everything was good, but recently I had a bad experience with my pedicure!!! The lady who did my pedicure in February dug so deeply into my two big toe nails, that they are falling off/dying!!! I hadn't even noticed, because they had polish on them, but when I took my nail polish off I saw that they were falling off at the sides. I had to take a clipper to cut the piece off that was hanging. I always explain to whoever is doing my pedicure that I don't want them digging into the side of my big toe nails, but it never fails, they don't listen!!! This time, they really did it!!! They injured my big toe nails!!!! The one on the left foot is the worst, it's all jagged & half of my toe nail is missing!!! I haven't clipped the right one yet, but it's no longer attached to my toe on one side!!! I have a wedding coming up on April 1st, but I will be doing my own pedicure & manicure. One more thing, they seem to only cater to the people who want both acrylic nails and a pedicure, if you just ask for a pedicure, they ask over & over again if you need a manicure. I will not go back except to show the owner what they did to my toes. read more

I have been to several salons in the Katy area, and usually find a place that is OK, and go for a while, and then the service slacks off and I find a new place. I have gone here a few times, and I am in love with it. I have not noticed the service slack off at all! I work in an office and type a lot during the day, so my nails take a beating. I am currently on my fourth week of wearing the same set (I can usually only go 2), and have yet to break one. My nails still shine and look great (other than the regrowth). They have a huge selection of OPI polished, a large number of pedicure spa chairs and a range of shellac and colored powders. The women are very friendly and the environment is very relaxing. I have done a facial treatment here too and was in LOVE with it. I am so glad this is close to my home, and right next door to the Starbucks! It is super convienient. read more

Genuinely upset. My friend and I came here to get her nails done for her engagement and I came to get mani-pedis with her. When I first came in i specified that i wanted Gel nail extensions, and they said okay, showed me the colours and then after looking they asked again what I wanted and I said gel nail extensions. When we were finally seated I stated ONCE AGAIN to the tech that I want gel nail extensions. Lo and Behold, when she started painting my nails THERE WERE NO EXTENSIONS. So I thought "Maybe i mistook the name or they don't do that service here" Surprise, they do the service! i asked my friends tech. Not to mention that I showed them a photo of the design i wanted, I got one chevron line and nothing else. My friend ended up paying for my manicure because she felt so bad that i was upset about how badly the manicure had gone. And while the pedicure went fine, she messed up the design (Literally just one chevron line) in fact, it wasn't until I had gotten in the car that I noticed how screwed up it was. Im so mad, because now I have to spend DOUBLE THE MONEY in order to get the extensions I wanted and to get my toe nails fixed. Do yourself a favor, go to a different nail spa. read more

This is my salon, you guys. I've been coming here for almost over a year now. I'm always at the Starbucks next door and just decided to try this place out of convenience and it's the best decision I've ever made. I never really make an appointment. They're happy to take in walk ins and that's how I normally just do my nails. The way they do shellac makes it last on nails for weeks. The nail techs are all super friendly. The owner knows the style and colors I tend to pick, but always tries to get me to try other colors haha. They also have a stamp system, one stamp for each service you get, 10 stamps=next service total gets $25 off. It's awesome, convenient and they're great at what they do! read more

I've been coming here for about a year now. Yesterday was the first time I was disappointed. After leaving I realized my fake nail wasn't completely glued to my natural nail, so I came in today half expecting the ladies to give me a hard time since I don't have a receipt and want them to fix it. I walked in and Helen recognized me right away and asked what's wrong. I explained the situation to her and she, without hesitation, said to take a seat. I popped in there because it was right by Starbucks and my old nails were in that sure need of replacing. Since I like my full set so short, asked for a gel overlay directly on the nail, no fake tips added on. Picked a pretty pale pink from the display and she removed my old set and put on the new color. It looked NOTHING like the display color! Btw it was #21 I couldn't believe how different it looked. I went to the restroom, went to check out and the lady was nowhere to be found to tell the cashier how much it was. Cashier (who SLEPT on the waiting chairs my entire appt- real professional) called her on a cell phone to get the info. FORTY-FIVE freaking dollars?! For 1 (wrong) color, no design, no tips, no french....ridiculous. I've NEVER paid that much for such a simple service.
