It was literally DIVINE! I hadn't moved in 11 years and was dreading hiring movers, after remembering the last guys I hired weren't that great. I had called some places, which added to my anxiety as one place was quoting overindulgent prices and questioning the number of boxes I might need, to another telling me there wouldn't anyone left to help me. Even a guy who gave me his number to text him, stopped texting back! A divine intervention was needed! As I was walking in my neighborhood, I came upon a telephone pole with a flyer that spoke to me. It said moving is stressful, but they could help. Using my phone to click the QR code, I came upon a website with a gorgeous glossy couple standing with a red moving dolly and another photo of them standing next to their white moving truck! Plus, a simple but effectively written bio written for the GODS! This was a savvy team, I could tell. When I called them, Helena answered and was super friendly and understanding to my moving issues. As I explained my moving needs, she was quickly able to schedule a day and time, give a price estimate, and consider the work load and transportation needed. Another awesome quality about Divine Moving is that they were able to go to Home Depot and get boxes for me, and even drive them to my house a few hours later! And...brought more boxes the day of moving! ABOVE and BEYOND. The day of moving was actually really chill and celebratory. Helena's friendliness and care is matched only to Jim's. The Tetris packing wizard was busy at work strategizing where the boxes Helena brought him would end up going in the large truck. Within a few hours they had left my old place and were quickly unloading each of my items into my new place, with complete care. They even helped me think about the best spot to put a piece, when I asked. I would recommend Diving Moving to anyone! I don't know really where to start. This was probably the single greatest experience I have ever had hiring anyone. I wasted about 2 weeks calling other movers and was strung around. Hidden fees they told me about when I was putting a card down, getting transferred from person to person, trying to sell me on upgrades and the biggest problem 3-4 hour minimums that would have you spending at least $800 even for one piece of furniture. When I came across Devine Moving I immediately reached an actual person not a computer. She was so wonderful and straight to the point. If you're doing business, get right to it, don't waste time. She asked what I needed, when, what area and a few other questions. The call was maybe 3 minutes and I was booked. They showed up on time and were so professional. You know how sometimes there is an awkward moment when you're just standing there and someone is working? I felt non of that. We were all chatting, cracking jokes, and getting to know each other. Their attentiveness to details and awareness for my items and what could be place how was phenomenal. The job got done quickly and I felt so good about it. This is the type of local business we should all be supporting. Amazing people doing an amazing job. If you came across this literally just cancel any other plans you have to hire someone else and just call them. Do yourself a favor and hire Helena and Jim for your next move! Moving is stressful, and I was not looking forward to this one. Up until the last minute I was planning on moving myself for in in-city move. When I came to my senses and reached out to Helena and Jim, they were immediately friendly and easy to work with.
