Dear Yelp, Went in today and enjoyed our vanilla iced coffees. Also had a raspberry iced tea. Prices were reasonable but decor and ambiance were wonderful. Love, Nicole

Their cold brew was pretty disappointing. I knew it would be bad when they gave it to me and it looked like iced tea. Not sure if they ran out and gave me a poorly executed iced americano instead. Tasted like ice water. No bueno very disappointing i was looking forward to a good cold brew

Love that I can watch the sun rise and I don't have to wait until 7 or 8am to enjoy coffee and breakfast! Divi Tree Coffee opens at 6am! Enjoyed the morning vibes, Soft music, coffee aroma! Ordered caramel latte, egg & cheese sandwich on their sweet roll with side of home fries. Steady stream of customers- lots of take out orders. Witnessed staff huddle- announced getting new expresso machine! Everyone was excited :) Love all the coffee quotes!

    Blueberry Fruit Crumb Bar

Incredible value. Delectable bites. Local chill spot. Divi Tree is a well oiled machine when it comes to churning out fat sandwiches, luscious baked goods and great coffee. I'm slightly addicted to the blueberry crumb bars, they are ginormous and taste homemade, a thick layer of fruit and a buttery silky crumb base make for a delicious combo. I always make sure to grab one when in the area! Also tried the iced coffee and vanilla chai, so aromatic and delicious. Bacon egg and cheese comes loaded on a bagel, no skimping on the quality or slices of bacon. The prices are really fair too! I saw a small hot cocoa on the menu for $1.85 and can't remember the last time I stepped into a coffee shop and saw a price less than $3 for anything on the menu. Definitely stop by and support this local business!

Slimy overnight oats with old sour fruit.

Food is usually decent. Parking lot is absolutely atrocious. Recently got an overnight oats with fruit cup and it was sour. The fruit was old and smelled fermented. Couldn't even eat it. How many days in advance are they preparing these things. Not planning to return there any time soon.

    Matcha

I came in on Wednesday around one in the afternoon. They promote themselves as a healthy/green establishment, which I assumed meant that they made their syrups; they don't.. I ordered a large matcha and their cold brew--both were specialties. I also ordered a BLT, egg and cheese on an everything bagel, and protein balls. The wait time took 10-15 minutes, which was a decent amount of time. The matcha was disgusting and did not taste like matcha at all. It looked almost like a green juice: the colors weren't right, nor was the taste. The cold brew tasted okay. It was a bit too sweet, but it did have cold foam on it. The food was also not the best; the BLT was good but was a bit dry, and the egg and cheese bagel was very little (compared to other establishments I've gone to in the shore). My total ended up being $38. The staff were friendly, and the floors looked dirty. Overall, I would not come back. There are plenty of other restaurants that are much better in terms of pricing and food quality.

Not a latte, asked for lukewarm warm. It was boiling hot.

Best caramel macchiato I've ever had! And the bacon on the BLT was perfectly crisp, definitely worth a try

We were really impressed by the location. The Food shack is located right on the beach which is the perfect way to enjoy a lunch on a Summer day in Point Pleasant. They have lots of umbrellaed outdoor seating, and some benches in the sun, so there are options for everyone. They also have some indoor seating, and the inside is adorable. We ordered a swiss grilled cheese with tomato on top, and a BLT. Each item came with pickles and a bag of chips. Each item was priced reasonably, especially considering typical Jersey Shore pricing. My grilled cheese was great. The bread/cheese/tomato ratio was perfect. The cheese was gooey, and stayed gooey even as the sandwich cooled. The bread on the grilled cheese was crispy on the outside and still soft and warm on the inside. I didn't know what to expect from a small shack on the beach, especially with something as simple as a grilled cheese, but I really enjoyed it. The BLT also had a gread tomato/bacon/lettuce/mayo ratio and wasn't too greasy. Overall I will definitely be coming back!

They're the reason we have visited at least 20 times. Then there is a bartender named Jack. He does his very best to keep my wife and I waiting. He ignores us for no good reason. My wife asked Jack if he could put on the Yankee game. He snapped at her and said can't you see I'm busy. He then refused to put the game on. We got the manager's attention and he put the game on. Two weeks forward we attended an affair on the second floor. Afterwards we went downstairs for a nightcap. Jack as usual ignored us. When I asked him to get us a drink he responded with can I wait on another customer first in a very disrespectful tone while using a hand gesture pointing at the other customer. I have always tipped well and cannot understand his surly attitude directed at my wife and I. I told Jack exactly what I thought of him. He then said now I'm not going to give you a drink. This guy thinks he owns the place. He ran to the manager and told her a customer was being mean to him. Jack should not work in the service industry. He shouldn't pick and choose who he should or should not service.

Not often does a place do as well or better than the last place when it changes hands and the previous joint was a local favorite. At the Point IMHO is one of those such spots. The menu is flat out one of the best I've seen in years! So many amazing choices from savory to sweet, creative fun names for everything, outstanding choices, tons of options for every palate. They kept some of the staples from before which is a nice hat tip to tradition but you can also tell the new chef/owner wanted to have some fun with the menu and it's a hit in my book! The food is very fresh, coffee hot and delicious, and the service is as good as it always was! Tanya is the best! The pancakes are next level, all of their omelettes I've tried have been dynamite, favorites include the French Onion Omelette, Reef & Beef and Juan in a Million. Today we had the Sunrise in Tulum Birria tacos and Country Benny (okay along with a flight of pancakes, stop judging). Everything was great! Avocado toast options are fantastic as well. Love seeing such an iconic local breakfast joint not only stay as good as it's always been but actually improve. This is a can't miss for breakfast or lunch if you're in Point Pleasant Beach or even just passing thru. Keep up the great work At The Point Diner!
